Thousands Of Years Ago, the world fell into ruin. The world was covered in darkness, and nature quivered.




The World has been teaming with people running too and fro on it's surface for thousands of years now. Twenty one thousand years ago, evil deities were slain beyond the fringes of civilized society far to the West. Only a few genuine creatures capable of calling themselves deific remained in the world after the great wars of the past. However, as the millenia passed by, they had children with each other, and ruled over the world with their own deific orders, demanding sacrifices, offerings and worship from their followers.

Then, magic-users began to surface across the world sixteen thousand years ago. At first, they were worse off than the mundane mortals, because they had something the gods wanted. They had mortality, they had the powers similar, though inferior in strength to the gods, they still seemed to be envious of the first sorcerers and wizards that walked the world. Well, "first" wizards that walked the world in five thousand years since the Divine Wars, that is. The texts do not tell us what these magicians had that the gods were jealous of.

This is the next generation of deities. The Elder gods are watching from their thrones in the Heavens with anticipation at what happens with their progeny. There are Ten Elder gods, one Elder god for each Continent.

There are ten continents. Continents range in size from one million square miles to four million square miles. Mortal cultures are Celtic, Brythonic, Greco-Roman, Saxon/Anglo/Jute, Scandinavian and any you can think of, from the former mentioned European powers to Middle Eastern Caliphates, China like Empires and even Egyptian Theocracies. (Ruled by those who bridge the gape between Demigods and "gods").
Technological times are currently in a surprising level of sophistication, running water (Minoan), high quality steel, capable of slashing through modern day steels easily, even, to some extent, gun powder. All across the world there is an occupation well-respected everywhere. They are known simply as "Healers". They know which foods to eat for nutrition, which herbs will help ease pain, heal a body, soothe fevers, they know the delicate surgeries, they know how to apply anesthetic, they can even perform transplants of bodily parts and tissue as easily as modern day surgeons and physicians.

Healers also know medicinal mixtures to pour into from plants all over the world, insect fluids, and animal fats, various scents to help the body recover and remain in a restful state, how much rest they need, etcetera. But the point is that the world is not "Modern", perhaps it could be equated to the 1700's Era, 1800's Era or earlier, 1600's Era. They still have cannons to fire at enemy ranks, and if they have the will for it, fire arms, like flintlock rifles, muskets and other such weapons which are considered high technology right now. Dynamite is also not unheard of.

But most people still cling to the old ways of religion and theistic worship of deities. Rumors persist of a kind of weapon that resembles the real world's Sub Machine Gun, high piercing rifles and such weapons, but they have not been used on the field of battle, yet. Prayer still keep ghosts away. Stakes still slay vampires when stabbed into their heart. . . werewolves are poisoned with wolf's bane, and demons can be excorcised through showing the crucifix or sign of the Cross.

Further Premise
OOC The world is calling out for the gods to save them from a world of war, disease, dark arts and poverty.The more the gods act, the greater their followers devotion and the greater their kingdoms become.

All Players Begin With 50 AP points per turn. ((Anywhere from whenever I feel like a turn should pass up to 7 Days))
Smite Enemy: Can be used to punish mortals or fight enemy deities. Costs 1 AP to smite a deity with a light attack, or hundreds of mortals. Smiting usually takes the form of a deities domain, such as Zeus shooting a criminal with a lightning bolt.

Enchantment (positive): Healing someone, making crops grow, granting them weapons, all cover the form of a "good" enchantment.

Create New Life : Creating a monster like King Kong, Kaiju and monsters use this Action. By default, they cost 30 + AP. These Kaiju like monsters are like walking armies that crush armies like ants. They can be dragons, giant gorillas, tyranosaurs, giant raptors, etcetera. It's all up to you. Eventually they can reach or even climb higher than Demi-God status. They can already do some things that gods can do, but they are barred from most divine privileges and rights.

Beget Demigod This costs 10 AP. Demigods bring up your reputation, and can be used to interfere with other players and NPC without getting caught doing anything suspicious. Demigds can also begin new Nations, and they generally improve the flavor and substance of the world down below.

You can have another deity with a participating player. Not necessarily through physical union between a man and woman, but possibly through magical conjuration or ceremonial things that have a strong spiritual influence. They begin weaker and less powerful than the "Create Creature" Monsters, but can grow to become as powerful or more powerful than their parents.
