@clericbeast Well, even mutts have backgrounds. Like the alley in which they were born and all. It's okay if you portray a character who lives sort of like a gypsy/wildman/nomad who doesn't recognize borders and cultures, and thus is ignorant of them. Or perhaps an urchin of the streets with no idea of the wider world. But that shouldn't be an excuse for not writing a convincing character. I need to see life. If it is to be found under a rock, so be it.

Oh, I'd still try to create a compelling background, of course, but it would focus more on that character's personal aspirations rather than the typical expectations of people of their particular "race", and whatnot.

@MacabreFox Not for Gengorid. He will remain a nameless, formless fear for the most part and Ashmodin will be his hand.

Teluvil - of course! She will be the guiding hand for the seven and prophecies speak of the royal line of Elinor being instrumental for the world's survival. So, perhaps she has a part to play.
