Terror of The Dark Forest

A name that struck fear into all those who lived on Berk. The creature was a dragon known as a night Fury a deadly monster born of Death and Lightning. Many people have gone to the forest where he was said to live they never came back.

He soared through the air seeing some sheep he grabbed one in his claws and flew off happily with his catch flying off to the massive forest he called his own. He laid there and ate his catch relaxing on a massive cave on the cliff over looking Berk. He laid there looking at the night and huffed and went into his cave finding the nice moss bed. He curled up and went to sleep happily till he hears footsteps close to the cave and his massive red eyes flew open.

Sabrina ran thru the woods, her huge wolf dog mix ran next to as they tracked a pack of nasty wolfs that had been hunting their herds for months. She was the only brave enough to go into these woods, knowing all too well what lived in dark trees. But she needed to put an end to these attacks. One of the villagers had been hurt and that was the last straw for her. She saw the wolves ahead of the pair and she muttered "Their they are, Bane...lets put an end to this..." She pulled her bow free and locked a arrow into it then let it fly, hitting one of the beasts in the back. They all howled and ran harder, Sabrina not backing down. She didn't want to wipe the whole pack out, just scare them enough to keep them from coming back. They all ran for quite some time until they came near a cliff side where Sabrina saw one of the pack slip off the edge and get caught on some tree roots that was out of the ground. Sabrina cursed and told Bane to stay and she moved to the cliff side, reaching down. "Its alright, pack brother...just hold on I'll get you back up..." She jumped down the cliff side to a thin stone ledge and she moved to wolf, pulling her blade out and started to cut the poor beast free. After a few minutes she was able to push the roots off the animal and she said "There you go...now get going, little one..." The beast looked at her, tilting its head before jumping back onto the cliff and running to meet its pack.

Sabrina sighed and moved to pull herself back when the ledge gave way under her and she yelled out, falling with Bane barking in panic. Sabrina hit the river below, knocking the wind out of her causing her to black out for a few moments. After a few minutes she burst from the river, coughing as she dragged herself onto a back and she cursed again. She held her shoulder which was clearly dislocated and a bleeding side from impact. She looked around and saw a cave nearby and muttered "I can't get far right now...I won't make it back at this rate...I better rest for the night then try and make it back to Berk in the morning..." She flinched, pulling herself up and walked into the cave, blood dripping onto the stone as she got a few feet into the cave then slid down the wall, panting from the strain.

The dragon snarled sharply his snarl made the cave shake sharply and used a plasma blast to hit the ground right next to her to tell her to leave. He gave a roar and flew out swiftly creating a massive gust of wind behind him as he flew through the air with a powerful scream like roar blasting four sheep leaving them a mess of ashes. He flee into the night sky dissapearing. He would come back that cave was his. It smelled like smoke in that cave.

Sabrina jumped up, looking around and said "What on earth..." She flinched again and sighed. "Guess I have to go somewhere else...if I can..." She didn't make it too far, after leaving some fish from the river in the cave for coming uninvited then she went a few yards down the river side to find a tree and rest next to it, trying to stay warm with her wet clothes. She cursed again, closing her eyes to try and rest.

Terror of The Dark Forest came back to his cave as the sun was starting to come out growling deeply and saw the fish and raised an eyebrow. He snorted eating two before slipping into the shadow of the cave and falling asleep as he was a night owl and not a morning or day person. He laid in the cave snoozing softly eyes closed but lightly sleeping as he was slightly awake. He woke up later on and flew out and seeing the girl near the river and she was still hurt and flew into a tree and dropped a cooked fish for her and then he flew off to his cave and vanished into the darkness.

The Dragon grunted and moanjewd as his form shifted into a male wioth a black leathyer jacket and good clothing. He smiles and streached and laid down in his make shift den in the cave that had a lot of human things in it looking at the maps slowly.

Sabrina moaned in the early dawn and sat up, even more sore now from getting no sleep and in worse shape then before. She looked around and saw a cooked fish which she picked up and tasted, then ate it quickly, feeling a little energy coming back to her. She stood up, swaying slightly as she tried to walk up the back to where she had fell, limping as she held her wounded side and tried not to bump her dislocated shoulder. She needed to put it back soon to keep away the risk of permanent damage, but she didn't have the strength to do that and find a way out of the woods in one piece.

A male came over slowly and saw she was struggling. He came over slowly "Oh....Your hurt. Sorry I noticed a blood trail and hoping for the dragon but you look hurt. Need some help?"

Sabrina turned sharply, her blade in hand. She panted a little, her skin pale and covered in sweat. "Who are you? No one is foolish enough to wander in here looking for a dragon?"

"I am skilled warrior from the mountains. Many call me Nexon who are you?" He asked tilting his head.

Sabrina took a step back, fighting to stay upright. "Sabrina of Berk...I am their head warrior...I was tracking a wolf pack that needed to learn that our sheep wasn't for them...which I did before slipping off the cliff up there..." She nodded her head up at the cliff above them.

"Home of the Terror NightFury risky move you need to go home" he said slowly looking around slowly eyes closed gently. A eagle flew over and lands on his shoulder.

Sabrina laughed weakly and said "I would if I could...I'm in no shape to get far and I do not fear dragons...they are another one of the gods creatures that live in this world...no reason for bother them if they don't bother us..." She flinched and turned away. "YOu need to get out of here...its not safe after dark...I have to get partly home if I can..."

"that dragon has killed 23 sheep and ten dogs. that dragon is no peaceful creature nor does it need anyone to lend it mercy. Come on" he leads her down the hill slightly les dangerous and gets her to berk before backing into the darkness of the forest and was gone.

Bane came running up, licking Sabrina with joy as the other villagers came up to help her home. Sabrina watched the man go and in her mind thought *Looks like I'm going back to those woods after all...*

She laid in bed after being told off by her father, the right hand to the chief, for being reckless. She sighed and covered her eyes. The words the man said ringing to her "That dragon is no peaceful creature nor does it need anyone to lean it mercy..." She muttered, looked at the ceiling. "Maybe it doesn't need mercy...but something else..."

The dragons that night attacked the village with no mercy burning down homes, killing the life stock, ten men where killed two children where killed and some mothers burned in a fire. Only dragon that they actually able to spot was that...Night Fury the creature had givwn off a roar and blasted off another dragon away from the village as if it was he;lping. Many dogs and horses where also killed and many stayed injured. No creature helped them that many would awknoaldge except that of the strange Night fury. the creatuyre was impossible to spot other then its eyes was all it seemed to be seen by. It vanished right after the attack and was gone back to its cave and landed and went into the cave and relaxed happily.

Sabrina was leading others to put out the fires, firing arrows where she could. She saw one dragon going after a young mother and child and she growled. "Not on this night..." She ran forward and jumped on the back of the beast, stabbing it in the neck and yelling for everyone to get out. She tried to finish the beast off but another dragon grabbed her and flung her off, Sabrina hitting a bolder hard. She cursed, blood running down where the creatures claws had ripped her skin and saw the bigger dragon moving towards her. She pulled her blade out and held it up, ready to fight to the death. "Come and claim me then..."

The dragons hovered around her, the Night Fury ears perked as it flew out of its cave and slammed into the bigger dragon using a massive plasma blast sending it flying but the nightfury was unable to be seen only its eyes shown. it started fighting with all the dragons and soon faught them all off though wounded he could hardlky care he flew off into the forest and went back to his cave leaving the girl was a massive mess and dangerous destoryed village. the dragons where gone and she was left alone many people cursed and warriors got ready to go after the night fury to kill it knowing it was injured.

Sabrina jumped up and blew her horn, making them all look at her. "No one is going anywhere. We have wounded to tend to, and our home to rebuild. Our payback can wait one night...get to it!" she jumped up, her blood dripping onto the ground as she went to her father and said "KEep them here father...I'll deal with the NightFury...I know where it rests..." She ran into the woods alone, running hard. She came to cave opening and took a deep breathe then called inside. "I know your hear, Sky brother...you have to get out of here. I know the truth but my people do not. I owe you my life and I want to pay the debt by getting you somewhere safe..."

A monsterous unfriendly roar was her answer as a plasma blast flew past her in warning. the dragon was curled up bleeding and injured but that would hardly stop him teeth bared at him eyes glowing sharply a intense firey color in warn ing to leave as he was not friendly toward strangers or people who harm any dragon no matter the cause.

Sabrina sighed then walked in, leaving her blade outside with her arrows. She knelt down by him and said "Its alright...I won't hurt you...if you like I can treat that wound of yours?" She pulled out rags and medicine, her eyes not leaving the dragons red ones.
