Shu felt excited and hoped he’d be able to see more of the planet than what he’d seen before, even if he didn’t really know how long they were going to remain on this planet. Maybe they could save people from trouble elsewhere, that’d be fun and make him feel so much better. He wondered just how much time they were going to get with all this going on and all these ideas, but even if they only managed to do a few of the long list then that was alright with him. “I will get flying all fun and stuff! I hope I don’t fly away without everyone and get lost, though. I don’t know what I’d do if I got lost…” Feeling anxious he squeaked and giggled when his hair was ruffled, his eyes going to Kiton when he realised he was talking. It was weird having someone around who was essentially a stranger to them. They picked him up out of a wreckage and they had barely seen him, but then again he was probably still hurting after that crash.

Kiton didn’t know how else to keep out of trouble with these guys other than going with a few of them and these guys sounded like they were going to train. He really needed to loosen up and get back into practice after his injuries, even if he was still tired and sore. These two seemed fun enough and not strict at all so maybe it would be alright. Relieved after the awkward pause, hearing that the guy was fine with him joining them. Sighing lightly he gave a little smile, not at all phased with what he was telling him. “I know, but…the others seem so serious…plus I’m supposed to have someone watch me. What better way to watch me is there than to help me keep in shape?” He knew he could probably beat these two to a pulp but ten that would have him in even bigger trouble than he needed to be. He wanted to keep out of trouble and show he could behave despite his race. “Learn something? Like uhh…what do you have in mind?”

T’charrl wondered if he should just stay put incase he got lost and forgotten about, finding that to be the most inconvenient outcome. He wondered if they would remember and come back if he did get left behind, maybe it would be best learning where the rebel base is incase he had to contact them. He was just a little worried, it wasn’t as if it hadn’t happened before, but the other times it did it was usually someone else’s fault and they would get punished for it by his mother. Feeling confused over what he was supposed to do he gasped when Haku spoke up, not expecting him to talk to him. Looking down at him he tapped his claws together, wondering what he was going to say before twitching his antennae. “Hang out? Uhhh, o-okay. Okay. If you really want to, we can”, he spoke, looking away, “I don’t know what this planet offers, though…”

Viral didn’t know how much energy he had for that type of stuff, feeling too out of it to make a proper decision. He wasn’t sure what he might be like in the future during his treatment or if he was going to be completely drained, but he didn’t want to assume such a thing would happen incase Yumi got mad at him. He was already feeling rotten and knew he was very weak, but Yumi seemed desperate to get him out and about even if he didn’t want to go. He was feeling awful all the time and it wasn’t Yumi’s fault if she didn’t know, especially when he never told her about it. “I can’t fly around like you can, you know. I can’t travel that easily”, he sighed, rubbing his forehead, “I don’t know where you would want to go that I can go”.

Approaching the city didn’t alert the rebels, they knew they were coming and were well prepared for it in advance. The approaching vessel was a large one and would need to enter the bay at the back of the city considering its size. A massive area dedicated to vessels of this size, large enough to hold the entire city. Once the ship came into the vicinity of the city it wasn’t long before there was a foreign upload onto the ship’s maps, one that guided the vessel towards the hidden airfield and one that Sayomi most likely installed if they ever did return to Uunoue.

"Easy, if you got lost then you just... Well, you can use blasts! Just shoot a blast into the air, just like a flare," Takeshi explained, smiling as he raised an arm up and pretended to fire Ki, "If you ever get lost then you do that, then we can find you, easy right?" Though considering the two of them were pretty much attached at the hip he doubted either would lose the other anytime soon, that much they were safe from. Giving Shu's hair a playful ruffle of reassurance, the older boy then turned to Kiton as he approached them, not having even noticed the Frost Demon was here honestly; considering how banged up the guy was from his crash it was a bit of a surprise he was up and about, though then he could be like Viral and just not want to laze around. "Eh... I mean the only ones who are serious are Vegeta and his old man," Takeshi mused aloud, looking around their group as he itched at his cheek, "But yeah, you can come with us. And there's gotta be something we can teach you, no one knows everything, you know? I bet there's a thing or two we could surprise you with." That aside, he was kind of hoping that he and Kiton may get to spar, if the Frost Demon was up to it. Takeshi just had a need to know how strong their newest member was, and whether or not he was stronger.

Since Haku didn't want to bother the Princes this second he figured he'd try T'charrl; he and the alien weren't exactly friends, in fact if there was anyone in this group he figured they were furthest from on another it was them. After all, he had more or less tried killing T'charrl when they met, even if they could be civil together he wasn't an idiot, he knew things were going to be tense. All the same he went ahead and made the offer of hanging out, a bit surprised when he so readily accepted. "Heh... Well that makes two of us! I guess we'll just look around then, huh?" Haku asked, smiling sheepishly as he wrung his hands together, "Uh... I mean, we could go look around in the city? Or... See what the rest of the planet looks like, at least some of it." He'd never seen Uuonoe either, only what glimpses he could catch as they were approaching one of the cities. It seemed like a nice world, there were no attacks going on which was a pleasant change of pace. Haku wasn't sure how long they planned on staying on this world, but he wanted to make the most of their trip here, however brief it may be.

"I just want to try and give you a chance to do something new for a change, that's all. It doesn't matter where we go, even if we just sit outside where they'll be working with you," Yumi explained patiently, giving Viral a warm smile, "I'm here to help until you don't need it anymore, and if you need me to be your legs for now then I will. Once we land and we have a chance, if you want to, just say where you want to go or what you want to do and we'll do it." If she didn't make the offer to take him out then who would? The other two who were closest to him were busy working on him; there was one person she was leaving out of the equation, someone who was currently speaking with the parents of their friends. Smiling hopefully, Yumi got June's attention by waving her over, wondering if maybe bringing her along as well would help things some. "June, are you going to be busy when we land? Are you planning on doing anything?" she asked, "Because if you're not, would you like to come with me and Viral? Just if he wants to go out, this way he has someone to keep him company and help him if he needs it," she added, turning back to her friend, "Is it okay if she comes too?"

June was having an interesting time speaking with the Saiyan's parents, even if a few of them were a bit much. The twins' father was a nice man, and just from speaking to him she could tell he had quite a long, difficult past and probably dozens of stories to tell of it. The other two... Well, if she was blunt she was okay with not talking to them again; the woman was rude and haughty, and the man had a decidedly lecherous undertone about him, and seemed obsessed with wealth. When Yumi called her over then she was more than happy to oblige, giving parting words to the twins' father alone before joining her and Viral. "If you have me I'd love to come along. Otherwise I figured I'd explore on my own," June replied, chuckling as she placed her hands on her hips, "And... I'm not exactly hopeless when it comes to directions, but this is a whole new world. You can't expect me to have even the slightest idea where to go, can you?"

Vegeta was a little worried as they were in proverbial limbo for a moment, not knowing where they could set down their ship. It didn't take long however for the citizens of Uuonoe to acknowledge their approach, and handily a set of coordinates were sent to them designating a landing site, accompanied by a hologram of the selfsame spot for reference. Smiling gratefully he passed the information along to the pilots, going back to the central control console in the middle of the room. "We should be setting down in a minute everyone, though it shouldn't be a bumpy landing. If anyone's working in any of the compartments feel free to drop that for now, everyone should get a break here," he spoke over the intercoms, wanting to give the crew a chance to enjoy themselves for a change. Hopefully the Uuonians didn't mind an influx of visitors, particularly if they were still in fact rebuilding. Passing over the city proper they landed in what Vegeta could only describe as a massive airstrip, multitudes of smaller crafts dotting the area as it seemed to be quite busy right now. Luckily for them a large area had been set aside, and it took but a moment for them to position their large vessel before landing it effortlessly.

Shu watched Takeshi curiously before giggling at his gesture, finding it all to be rather funny yet informative. “I can do that! I am good at blasting things! Or nothing like…up there! Up there and blasting the sky!” he giggled, bouncing on his toes. He did hope that would work, but of course someone would need to be close by and if he had lost his way for a very long time then who knew if he was going to be seen. He probably shouldn’t worry about going too far astray, especially when Takeshi was there to keep a close eye on him. He did wonder if Takeshi liked him around all the time, but he didn’t know how he’d feel if he didn’t have his brother around either. Looking to the Frost Demon he tilted his head a little at his logic, almost forgetting he was technically a criminal. He didn’t understand what he was completely, he hadn’t heard of an outlaw, but it did sound like an intense lifestyle just from the word alone.

Kiton didn’t know if he should humour Takeshi or try and show he was fully capable of abilities that was stronger than he knew. He didn’t know how to be confident and show off in front of someone who was showing some measure of kindness, it just wasn’t in his logic to act like that. “I don’t know. Saiyans tend to know a lot of the same thing, but I don’t really know who your Master was either”, he spoke, his eyes drifting for a second, “Maybe you know something, like how you kill those creatures. Would’ve been good knowing how to before I crashed”. They had beaten the creatures in no time flat compared to how long the struggle was for him. It made him feel inferior, even if he was one of the strongest alien species out there.

T’charrl thought it was strange that Haku wanted to hang out with him but if he was the one offering there wasn’t exactly a way to deny him. He didn’t know what he was interested in when it came to hanging out with him or whether he just didn’t want to hang out with the brothers. It did make him a little nervous if he had to admit it, but it was more because Haku had shown the most aggression towards him than he showed the others. Tapping his claws together he gave a nervous smile, nodding a little before he sighed. “I don’t have the money this place has to get anything from the city, but I was hoping to maybe find some inner piece for my…umm…well, I didn’t get taught much about it, so I’m trying hard myself…”

Viral didn’t know how much Yumi would want to hang around for considering how long this treatment was supposed to take, he didn’t even know if he would be given proper freedom either like the ability to wander around and hopefully be able to stand on his own two feet. He had his injector now and even though it really wasn’t pleasant to take he still had to until his problem was fixed, whenever that might be. He didn’t know anything about his condition other than it was making him feel miserable and out of control for a very long time. He didn’t have a clue about his ability to remain in control after he had been fixed up or whether he would need to regain that ability, but he was curious about his memory problems. It was hard to tell if the memory he had ‘lost’ was fake either, his ability to tell the difference completely lost thanks to whatever happened when they put him away. “I don’t know what would be new to me, especially when you already do a lot that I already do…”

Not exactly feeling too excited about the thought of landing he did had a moment to contemplate before he realised Yumi was talking to June and was quite quick to offer her a place in their little group too. The very consideration suddenly felt very awkward, his nerves picking up rather quickly. He had been avoiding her ever since being told the truth, not that he was a coward or anything. It was just incredibly uncomfortable for him to know all of this and to know that she was his mother in a sense made him wonder what he was supposed to feel. Folding his arms tight, he gasped a little when Yumi asked if she could come along, his head quickly turning away. It shouldn’t be his decision, she should be able to make up her own mind to where she wanted to go. Feeling flustered he barely turned his head towards her before he quickly looked away again, raising his shoulders. “F-Fine. You can come if you want to…” he muttered, shaking his head, “It’s not like I know where to go, either…”

Takeshi couldn't help but grin like an idiot at Shu's enthusiasm, finding it both endearing and hilarious. Telling the little guy to go ahead and blast away may not be the wisest of moves, but unless someone was directly over him then Shu ought not be blasting any of their friends. "Just keep that in mind if you ever do get lost, okay buddy? It's gonna be that or a scouter, and we might not always have those things handy, you know?" While both brothers doubted the need for it, it certainly couldn't hurt to have something in place. Glancing back at Kiton he smiled slightly, figuring they might be able to get the Frost Demon in on their lessons as well. "My Master was... Kind of an ass," Takeshi admitted, smiling sheepishly as he rubbed at his arm, "But forget him, I've had other teachers since then, and I've learned stuff along the way. Don't think just because I'm a Saiyan I fight like all the others, and don't think Shu does either. You might be surprised if you doubt us." It was in part said in teasing and also in part a challenge; Kiton was strong, Takeshi wanted to find out just how strong he was. Smirking slightly he folded his arms over his chest, leaning back against the wall as he cocked his head to the side slightly. "How could we have told you before, we met you there. It's easy once you know how, though we can't exactly show you now, you know? No monsters to kill."

"Hey, I have no money either, on any planet, so don't worry about that," Haku responded, smiling slightly as he gave a shrug of his shoulders. He could just go ahead and steal like he had on Earth, though somehow he doubted T'charrl would be cool with that. Furrowing his brow curiously as the alien mentioned something within him, the Saiyan's eyes traveled to the orbs on T'charrl's body, wondering if there was something inside of them. Giving his head a scratch he looked back up at his friend, wondering if he might be able to help with whatever this problem of his was. "What is it? Maybe I can help out...?" Haku offered, hardly sounding confident, "I mean... I know I'm not the smartest person here or anything, but maybe we'll be able to put our heads together and come up with... Er, whatever it is you need?"

June was only too happy to accompany Yumi and Viral, not having much else planned for herself otherwise. It would be her first chance since coming back to really spend time with either of them, and she couldn't well pass up the opportunity. The decision to let her join them was ultimately Viral's, and while he didn't have to accept her company he did, bringing a smile to her lips as she stood before him. "Thank you Viral, and that will be the fun of it, we'll explore this world together," she replied kindly, reaching out and placing a hand on his head, giving his hair a gentle stroke. Aito had spilled the beans to her earlier about what he had shared, and though June was conflicted at having the Beastman know the truth it was also relieving in a way; They had lied to Viral before about his heritage, but now telling him he was their son may hopefully cheer him up some. "I know now is hardly the time or place for this, but I haven't had a chance to say it until now. I'm proud of the young man you've become Viral, and I can't wait until you're healthy and we can spend more time together," she said, leaning in and placing a light kiss on his forehead, "I missed you so much."

"We have more than enough clearance for our ship, and it seems like we've got this stretch of area for as long as we need, how courteous of them..." Vegeta mumbled, watching as the crew began taking systems offline and preparing the ship to power down. "I would imagine we'll get a welcoming party before long, so I would suggest we wait on the ship for the time being. If they know why we're here then they may have arrangements for Viral, no reason to go running off and miss our chance to take advantage of that." They had only just landed and already he was right to business, not wanting to waste a single moment that could be spent helping Viral. Oblivious to the plans being made for the Beastman, Vegeta stepped down from the command console and walked back to the wide windows, peering out across the expansive landing zone, watching as ships began to take off and others landed. It seemed like Uuonoe, despite having been attacked, was busy and very much still alive, thank goodness. Hopefully the city itself was faring alright.

Shu was getting all giddy over this and did have hope that he would definitely be safe, even if they did go really far away. It was always going to be a worry for him to get lost or abandoned, but he really did have confidence that it would never happen to him. Staring at the Frost Demon curiously he tilted his head a little, his eyes going up to Takeshi. He didn’t know who he would call a Master, probably only Roshi since he taught him the most and Takeshi wasn’t exactly a Master. It was a curious culture he still wasn’t a part of and all these titles just confused him. Maybe once he was older he’d have a good idea about the world, maybe he’ll have a core person to call Master too.

Kiton didn’t know a whole lot about these guys and even if it was just a little knowledge he was receiving from them then that would hopefully help him understand them a little more. He didn’t know what he could tell to them other than what he was before he was captured and why he was on the run, but if they were willing to tell him a lot more about them then that would make things easier for him. Staring at him as he spoke he didn’t see a reason for Takeshi to care about a crappy Master when there was probably others, but unfortunately he wasn’t willing to tell him anything. So much for trying to gain trust through a casual conversation, but whatever. “He’s a Saiyan too? Doesn’t look like one. Whatever. I don’t doubt anyone, but I can’t say I care that much about challenging you people anyway”, he sighed, finding it all to be a little annoying that he would be seen immediately as the challenger. “Why don’t you tell me just now? I mean…is it hard to explain? They did nearly kill me, it would be handy to know how to not die to them…”

Viral was rather embarrassed and felt incredibly uncomfortable talking to June, even if she was who she said she was. He didn’t know how to act around ‘family members’, but it probably didn’t help matters much knowing she was indeed a volunteer for his creation, leaving him confused over how he should be treating her. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do and just felt confused all over, but it didn’t help much when she insisted on touching him. Raising his shoulders slightly when she petted his hair. It made him feel uncomfortable for a number of reasons, mainly when he was completely confused over what he was supposed to feel towards her. They didn’t exactly spend time together when she came back to life and waiting until now made him feel tense.

Maybe if he wasn’t having all of these mind blanks he would be okay with her, maybe he was just too proud and didn’t want to have any family attachments to him after what happened, but either way he was confusing himself and he was definitely feeling very uncomfortable. Everything was making him stressed and even if it wasn’t the fault of others he really wished they’d back off until he found a way to chill out. Sighing a little he frowned, his eyes off her until she approached him a little more about him. Staring at her he felt confused, his cheeks going slightly red up until she gave him a kiss on the forehead, causing him to pull back in embarrassment. “Please just-…everyone’s here…” he muttered, letting out a groan before sighing, “I don’t know how I’m supposed to-…I don’t know what I’m supposed to feel right now, especially about you and Aito. I don’t know what I’m supposed to feel about anything other than angry at myself for having no idea. I am just…confused, that’s all…and I don’t like it. When are we getting off this ship…”

At this point it should be apparent to Kiton that Takeshi was, as always, turning their little discussion into a contest. Or maybe he wouldn't given he didn't quite know the Prince, but if he was unaware then he would learn rather quickly. Everyone else in the group he had a pretty good grasp on what their strength was, which only left the Frost Demon. He could just outright tell their newest companion he wanted to fight, but then the guy was still recovering so it wouldn't exactly be fair. Eyebrow twitching when Kiton doubted him, the older boy smiled slightly and closed his eyes, rubbing at his forehead before pointing at Shu, "Of course he's a Saiyan, why would I lie to you about that?" he asked, frowning as he looked at Kiton unamused, "And fine, it's not like it's all that tricky to figure out anyways." Yeah, he said that now but he hadn't solved it himself, it had taken someone else to give him the information. Smiling smugly at having a leg up on Kiton he walked over to one of the displays on the side of the room, finding a map that had an interactive interface to it. Having seen Vegeta do so before he swiped at it until there was a blank screen, swiping his finger across the projection and leaving a streak on it.

"So, it's pretty simple really! There were two kinds of monsters back there, remember? Ones with plated armor..." Takeshi explained, drawing what looked like a crude turtle, "And one that looked like... Well, not plate armor." The second one looked much like the first, only instead of having a 'shell' on it it had a smooth back, save for a few ridges. "If you want to kill the ones with the armor you've got to hit it with a big Ki blast, since the heat from it melts their armor, you know? Otherwise you'll have to hit them a whole bunch just to get through it," he drew an erratic squiggle that was meant to symbolize a Ki attack, moving on to the other depiction next. "These guys are annoying. You can kill them just by punching them, but kind of like the armor ones they take tons of hits. The quickest way we found to kill them is either to shoot a real focused attack at them, or cut them with something sharp." His final two 'masterpieces' were a thin Ki blast with an arrow pointing at the monster, and what resembled a sharp stick. Leaving his work up on the board he grinned at Kiton, putting his hands on his hips proudly. "So, got it?"

June was excited to spend time with Viral, even if they may do very little during it. It was unlikely they were going to play anything, especially given they weren't exactly children now, and Viral didn't much seem in the mood to have a conversation; Yumi and June had spoken briefly earlier, but they could always find more time to do so too, unlike Viral. Though she was positive he would loathe being doted on she couldn't help herself, the woman leaned forward and placed a kiss on the Beastman's forehead after ruffling his hair, smiling kindly at his reaction. Just like a child, whining when their parents gave them public affection, she found it adorable in a way. "You couldn't have known because no one told you. It's not fair to be angry at yourself over it," June responded, "Vegeta didn't know either, but he doesn't seem mad with himself. I completely understand being confused, just give it some time Viral." Anyone would be confused in his position, no one could fault him for that. As for his final question she couldn't well answer that, not knowing when they were supposed to leave. They had landed, that much was obvious, but with nobody moving for the exit she assumed something else had to be done before it was okay.

The call they were waiting on came in just a few moments after the ship had set down, with the individual in charge of the landing site no less being the one to speak with them. Most of what was discussed were simple formalities, from greetings to discussion of what their plans were while here and the like. The group was even offered an escort into the city, yet where they had not only the shuttle to transport Viral, but most of their group could fly there was no reason for it; the Capitol was clearly visible from where they were, it was a lot of bother to ask the Uuonians to put together an escort for so many people. After exchanging a few more pleasantries Vegeta silenced the call, a relieved smile on his face as he let out a long winded sigh his hands on the console as his head hung tiredly. They were clear to proceed, and in doing so were clear to begin working on Viral in earnest. It was both his and his father's hope that in their time on Uuonoe they could solve at least Viral's transforming problems, and the more cognitive and mental aspects of his problems would follow suit.

"So I guess that's it then, we're good to go!" Aito declared eagerly, beaming as he clasped his hands together. His first new world in years, or ever really, he couldn't wait to experience it. What would it feel like? What would it sound like, smell like, he had to find out! Of course before he got ahead of things and ran off to go sightseeing he had to remind himself why they were here, which was not to go and wander about haplessly. Walking over to join June, Yumi and Viral he smiled at the latter kindly, leaning down and placing a kiss on June's cheek before glancing at their son. "Well, time to get a move on Viral, we've got work to do. It sounded like they have something all set up for us, and it would be rude to keep them waiting." Besides, he wanted to get set up as soon as possible, get that out of the way so they could get to work. Viral's condition had stabilized for now, which meant even if he wasn't improving he wouldn't get worse. That being said Aito wanted him to be healthy again, and the more time they spent just sitting around then the longer it would take for that to happen.

Kiton was certainly finding himself more confused over these two than anything and whether they really were brothers. The short one didn’t really look too much like him other than probably a similar face, not to mention he had all that hair on him. It was a little strange to see an apparent Saiyan with so much hair, especially one so young and short with a tail too long. It was rather strange to see a Saiyan like him and if that’s what he was then whatever, he’d rather not be under his foot if he ever transformed. The older brother was missing a tail but was quite happy to call himself a Saiyan too so it must’ve been true. He had seen tailless Saiyans before but they weren’t very common, typically ones that had them chopped off in an assault. He wasn’t sure what he was supposed to believe from these guys really, but he did try to trust their word so they might trust his. “Excuse you, I nearly died trying to fight those things off! Don’t you think I didn’t try all I could to save me and my ship?”

If Takeshi didn’t want him to give some trust to him then that was the way to go, the whole mocking theme not playing very well. He was rather annoyed but he was going to go with it, watching as he went to the screen and decided to start doodling some strange looking drawings. Trying to understand what he was seeing he decided to try and listen to his explanations, narrowing his gaze before looking to Takeshi again. “So shells need to be blasted and the other you hit really hard with something sharp. Okay…” he spoke slowly, looking to Takeshi, “I got it, but it’s easier said than done. I was trying to fight them back for probably days. Why doesn’t everyone know about this already…? Wouldn’t it be better to tell everyone there’s monsters like that?”

Viral didn’t care about what she had to say, he knew he was right for being angry at himself when it was his mind that was the problem. Vegeta didn’t forget anything or do anything wrong, he had no one to blame other than Viral himself for ruining everything. He had lost everything for so long and she was trying to tell him he was wrong to think that way when he was clearly to blame himself for feeling this way. “And if I didn’t do what I did…all that I did didn’t-…why am I bothering with this when I know what you’re going to say…” he spoke, slowly falling into a mumble, “It is always the same thing, it is always going to be the same words and the same excuse…”

When Aito finally declared them ready to get moving he let out a grunt at his appearance, backing off a little bit when she gave June a kiss. It definitely made him feel rather uncomfortable, but of course all of these public signs of affection made him want to quickly leave. This whole thing made him feel like he was going in for surgery and only managed to make him feel nervous. He didn’t want to feel nervous, he was supposed to be fearless and here he was worried over some treatment. He just didn’t know what the treatment was going to involve so he was obviously going to be rather nervous, but it didn’t mean he wanted to accept that emotion. “Set up? You never did go over this treatment and what it’s going to involve…”

T’charrl was feeling rather nervous and unsettled right now, even if it was only Haku who was listening to him. He didn’t want to talk about his problems near the others and was hesitating while everyone was close by. To talk about his powers was something he really hated to do, mostly because it involved him becoming a monster that everyone hated. It didn’t matter what they said, he knew how they felt and how disgusting he was for it to happen to him. Opening his mouth to speak at first he hesitated, his eyes going to the others and waiting for Takeshi and Shu to get busy doodling with the Frost Demon and for the others to get ready to move off the ship. Once they moved he sighed, shaking his head. “I don’t think the others should get involved and maybe not you either. It’s supposed to be my problem, plus I don’t think anybody would have a solution for it, anyway”. Everybody was going to be busy with their own things and his problems were alien to them, even to him. “I should really try and find ways to fix my own problems…become, uhh…by myself a person, my own person? A person who isn’t needing others to watch over all the time. Am I clear…?”

"Yeah? Well we nearly died saving you, a total stranger. Look, you're alive, so who cares what happened to the ship? Just get a new one or stick with us, it's not like losing a ship is the end of the world." A ship was just a thing, they could be rebuilt or a totally new one could be bought, but dead was dead. Then again, Dragonballs could sort of undo all of that... No, that didn't make death meaningless. Kiton could be pissed all he wanted about losing the fight, but Takeshi couldn't care less about the ship itself. Finishing his illustrations to show the Frost Demon what he was getting at, the Saiyan frowned when the issue of sharing those news was brought up. "Don't you think we wanna tell everyone? It's not like we want to sit on that information and let people get hurt, you know?" he asked rhetorically, folding his arms over his chest, "We're running around all the time doing crap, you can't expect us to be playing messenger too. Besides, the rebels know it and they have a way easier time talking with people, so I guess we just figured leave it to them, we'll do our own thing."

Aito hoped he wasn't interrupting anything particularly important by coming over, but it was crucial they get moving. At the very least he wanted to get their equipment and Viral settled in today, they could always wait until tomorrow to actually begin his treatments. Giving June a kiss he then urged the Beastman to get ready to move, hoping Viral wasn't too against the idea of their going right away. "Oh... Well I suppose it's only fair I tell you then, isn't it? I really haven't disclosed anything have I?" he mused, smiling apologetically, "It's quite simple really. We're going to continue your dosage of the serum to keep you from changing while also introducing another medicine to help stabilize your hormones more permanently. That will be my job anyways, and Vegeta will be seeing to your physical therapy. It's our hope that those two will be the quickest of your treatments, and in completing those your mood will improve. After those are done we'll focus on helping you with the stress and anxiety aspects of your ailment, unless of course you would rather we tackle those first?" The order in which they tackled Viral's problems could be completely up to his discretion, what they were proposing was simply what they thought to be the most pressing; being depressed certainly was not fun, but with people monitoring your behavior depression wouldn't cause you physical harm, not like potential warping and mutations might.

"Oh... Well yeah, I guess that makes sense. I mean, I'm not really trained or anything to help with that sort of thing, right?" Haku asked, smiling slightly as he rubbed at his head, "Sorry... Uh... We can still hang out though, right? You're completely clear and all, I won't ask about it again." He hoped that didn't ruin their chances of hanging out, he wasn't sure who else to go to otherwise. The Princes seemed to be busy with Kiton, and he didn't know if they would welcome another person or not. Worst case he could try and spend time with the twins, having somewhat struck it off with Kai over his cooking lessons. Then again that could be it, and trying to do something outside of the kitchen may come across as annoying. Wringing his hands together again Haku glanced in the way of Viral and the others, wondering how he was doing now that they were doing work with him. Would Vegeta and his dad help T'charrl when they were done? "Uh... Is there anything you'd want to do while we're out? If we're hanging out?"

“’Who cares’…who cares if someone just lost their home and all their belongings in one go? Sometimes being alive can’t compensate for being made completely dependent on others for survival”, Kiton sighed, disliking the ‘at least you’re alive’ argument. He may be alive but he had two choices; join them or go free and be without anything. He was never going to have his freedom again and even though these people were offering up a place he was still going to have a hard time fitting in and feeling at home with the change of lifestyle. Staring at Takeshi as he gave his excuse he let out a groan, slowly folding his arms. “Their warning never got to my part of the galaxy. What exactly have you been doing so far? I did try to ask, but I didn’t get much of an answer other than exploring and trying to defeat this Saiyan King”. Kiton definitely didn’t have a clue about his future but if these people were going to be horrible to him then he wasn’t going to want to hang around. “I almost forgot about the rebels wanting to see me. Are you going to wait for me while they talk to me?”

Viral had little desire to go through all of this treatment, even if it meant he would be better by the end of it. He was not happy with the thought that everything that had been bugging him previously was going to be pushed to the side for some physical problems, especially when they had been bothering him to the point that he couldn’t sleep. Surely Vegeta and Aito could see that he was physically drained because he couldn’t sleep. Letting out a grumble he slowly rubbed his head, not fully agreeing with the plans for treatment. “Physical therapy…hmph, I don’t see how that will help my mood when you’re talking renewing my strength that is making me feel like crap, anyway”, he spoke, shaking his head, “I don’t see how I would recover if I can’t sleep or listen to what you say half of the time. I would rather they were tackled first, maybe even making me feel better about my lack of strength…”

T’charrl didn’t know how he was supposed to deal with his problems even if he wanted to by himself, but saying that the others probably wouldn’t know either. He was more scared over it all rather than stressed and the stressed people mattered more than scared bugs. Scratching at his arms he quickly nodded, looking to the others as they got ready to go. “Uhh yeah…yeah, I mean, if you want to. If you’re just wanting to because I’m by myself, I won’t pressure you into having to hang out with me”. He didn’t want Haku to feel forced into all of this, knowing it was rude to drag someone away from others they wanted to hang out with just because they were all alone. He had all of these undesirable elements about himself that he had to fix up before he could feel comfortable with being around others and if he wasn’t going to find a way to fix it then he didn’t know what was going to happen to him in the future. Just because he looked normal didn’t mean his problems had been fixed. “I-I don’t know what we could do. I don’t know what I need to do or what this planet has to offer me. I don’t think I could be around people, though, so…maybe try the wild flowers here, or something…”

Kiton was kind of being a pain ass about his ship, caring that he lost it over getting away alive. Seriously, who cared if you lost some of your things? He had a ship to live in now, he had food, and if he played his cards right he even had friends, that was more than he could say before. He couldn't understand the problem the Frost Demon was having, to him it seemed like a sweet deal that he was in, considering where had been. Knowing full well anything he'd say at this point was only bound to cause a fight between them he kept silent, shrugging his shoulders and looking away for a moment. "We're doing exactly that, it's like we said," Takeshi explained plainly, looking back at Kiton before biting his lip, "And... Helping Viral, I guess, we did kind of leave that out. We've been busy, we can't exactly go to every planet and tell people 'Oh yeah, there's these smoke monsters, and you've gotta kill them this way and that way', ya know?" What Kiton was saying just wasn't practical, and it made more sense for the rebels to do it anyways; rebel bases littered the galaxy now, relaying information was a simple matter of making a call, where they would have to physically go everywhere. "Like we said before too, the rebels aren't touching you. If you're with us then you're cool, that's all there is to it. So don't worry, yeah? You're not going to be charged or any of that crap."

Aito knew full well what Viral's problems were, it didn't take a man of his caliber to see that. But simply telling Viral what they would do and when they would do it did not seem like the way he wished to operate; anything they told him, be it a time to do a treatment or even just a simple suggestion was met with disdain and sometimes even hostility. So what might happen then, one would imagine, if the Beastman could dictate his own treatment? Obviously within reason, he and Vegeta would intervene where needed but they supposed it was fair Viral picked how they help him. "So you want us to address your anxiety and depression first then, is that it?" Aito asked rhetorically, getting confirmation as he smiled, "Splendid! We've already got arrangements for that as well! Plus a building has been prepared for our therapy, which since it will mostly consist of simple talk for the initial sessions we don't need to be in any particular setting. I think you'll find what we chose to be at minimum agreeable." How nice that he should choose therapy before the physical treatment, that worked out quite well. Clasping Viral on the shoulder, Aito turned to Vegeta and smiled, "I'll take him down and help him get settled in, meet you there?" Getting a simple nod, as Vegeta was busy seeing the ship was properly shut down, their father could focus on the Beastman again.

"Come on then big guy, let's see about getting you down to the atrium, hm?" Since being outdoors on this world may not be ideal they might as well be safe, go somewhere that seemed open but still had the comfort of being indoors. Aito couldn't know what the room they had been promised even looked like until they got there, only that it was meant to replicate the feeling of being outdoors. Easing Viral up to his feet, the doctor smiled at his wife and Yumi gratefully for having kept him company. "I'm sorry, but if you two could give us just some time alone, it'd be easier to talk without an audience. We'll let you know as soon as we've finished though." Viral would no doubt have a hard enough time speaking about these things just to him or Vegeta, throwing more people into the mix would only serve to complicate matters. Figuring his son might want to walk on his own, though not sure he had the strength to do so, Aito waved him on and offered out an arm to take for support if need be, not wanting to simply pick up Viral and carry him.

Haku felt kind of useless he wasn't even being allowed to try and help, even if he knew there wasn't much he could do. Everyone else seemed so willing and ready to lend one another a hand, so his being denied kind of felt like he was still just a straggler, not part of the group. Hiding his disappointment behind a small smile he shook his head at T'charrl's remark, rubbing at his arm again. "No, I want to hang out with you. I... Know we got off to a real bad start, but you seem like a cool person, and... I've never really had friends before, so... I figured I'd try." There were probably easier people to befriend than the one he'd tried to kill, but if he could manage to win T'charrl over then he should have no problem with the others. Wanting to leave matters in the alien's hands his shoulders sagged slightly when T'charrl had no clue, having really been banking on having him decide. "Try the flowers...? Sure, we can do that!" Haku agreed, smiling as he nodded his head. He didn't know exactly what was meant by 'try the flowers', but if it was something they could do then he was okay with it. "I saw a lot of woods near the city, should we head there and look around?"

It looked like everyone was getting ready to move out, though Takeshi didn't quite know what everyone was up to. Not that it mattered much as he, Shu and Kiton had their own plans anyways. "Let's get going guys, we've gotta find a place to go train!" he said eagerly, getting all fired up at the prospect of doing so. Chances were he'd not get anything out of this, but if it meant getting to improve Shu's skills and make him a better fighter then he was okay with that; Kiton would probably end up just watching, but if the Frost Demon wanted to come along then he'd have to just deal with it. Ready to get a move on, Takeshi placed a hand on both Shu's and Kiton's backs, pushing them towards the doors as he sent one last glance in Viral's direction. Was he going to be okay with Aito? The guy seemed real nervous around him, but then Vegeta's dad was their best bet at getting him help. Maybe by the time they got back today there'd be some difference in his mood, one could only hope. "Let's go work our asses off, yeah?" he whispered, smirking as he glanced at Shu and Kiton, "If we do we can have fruit afterwards... And fish, lots of fish!"

Kiton didn’t think these guys would know how traumatic it could be to be involved in a massive crash like he was and to lose everything, especially with Takeshi’s attitude towards him. It’s pretty traumatic for someone his age and if Takeshi was in it he probably wouldn’t be alive. He was pretty torn up that it happened and even if he walked out alive everything was gone in a sharp, painful moment. He was still in pain after the crash but was definitely feeling a lot better than he did before, if just tired and with the normal aches and pains. Staring at Takeshi as he gave his excuses he let out a sigh and soon looked away, staring at the floor before he mumbled. “Just send out a collective signal to the billboards…unless this is all secret business the public can’t know about…” He just needed an excuse over what happened, feeling he needed to find an excuse for what happened to him. Feeling more nervous about the rebels and their desire to see him he looked to Takeshi when he was discouraged from seeking them out. “Really? So…so long as I’m with you?” he questioned him before looking down at himself, “Still can’t believe you’re standing in front of them for me, I guess. I feel like the moment you all look away, they’ll snatch me”.

Viral didn’t want to have to make the choices himself since it gave him unnecessary pressure to make a decision on which was the least painful treatment. He didn’t want all of this to be placed on him. Groaning when he got all happy with his announcements he looked away, folding his arms. “At minimum? Hmph, you don’t even know if your treatments are going to succeed…” he grumbled, not feeling confident already considering how positive he was being over this treatment stuff. Positivity was usually a mask for hidden fears and if something wasn’t going to work out it would probably be the treatment involving getting his head on straight and finally giving him his own command over his thoughts and feelings. Glaring at Aito when he clasped his shoulder he shifted his weight on his seat, still not comfortable with the random touching people seemed to be picking up when near him. “’Settled in’…I’m not moving in…”

“…Big guy?? Don’t treat me like some sort of animal…” This was definitely going to be annoying for him and he didn’t know how long he might last. It was going to be a lot of work going into all of this and if Aito was going to be annoying then he might as well give up. Moving his feet to stand he growled as he forced himself up, feeling the pain from just that movement. He was still very weak and his muscles felt like they would never recover, but he was determined not to show off his weakness. Looking to Yumi and June for a moment he waited for Aito to start moving again, trying to walk as straight as possible without Aito’s help. It was very difficult, already wishing for death to arrive with how terribly hard it was just to walk. He didn’t want to accept help, but his arm continued to move instinctively towards Aito whenever he came close to falling. “Wouldn’t it just be great…if I fell into a coma before all this…”

T’charrl didn’t want to be so withdrawn, but with how things were going and how people acted around him he felt it was best to just go with it and hope maybe he was going to keep all of this mess out of everybody’s way. He didn’t want people to be afraid of him and with how things were progressive he couldn’t help but feel it was necessary to find a solution to his problem himself. Frowning as Haku spoke he gave a quick nod, looking down at himself. “A cool person…? Me? I’ve not been called that before…” Maybe it was going to be okay, even if he had to be around while he was trying to fix his problem. He didn’t know how else to fix it other than going somewhere other people wouldn’t find him, at least while he did try to fix it. “The woods? Uhh, sure….that could work. I just wonder if the nectar of this planet is safe. The woods shouldn’t be too sheltered for flowers…”

Now that they were going to leave the ship Shu was all happy once more, bouncing up and down as everyone started to move. He didn’t want to move in front of anyone and get in their way so bouncing on the spot seemed like the best answer to his excitement levels being manageable. Watching Viral and Aito move along he tilted his head at Viral’s movements but soon enough Takeshi was pushing him and the Frost Demon along, his eyes going to Kiton at first before up to Takeshi, smiling happily. “Yeah! What? What that?” he asked up at first, feeling like he misheard something before getting all excited again, “Fruit! And fish! Oooohh yummy, yummy, yummy! Fish we had before was tasty! Not sure we find one like that again, right? Small fish time?”

"A collective signal... To the what...?" Takeshi asked, sounding earnestly confused as he furrowed his brow. "What the hell are billboards? Can we do that?" Kiton was telling the wrong person this, like hell he had any idea how to do... Whatever it was. Far as he figured they would let the rebels spread the word, and with their forces all over the place it should be as easy as making a simple call. Sure, maybe word of mouth wasn't the quickest of ways, but then if they didn't want the Saiyans learning all of this then it was better they do it this way. On a change of topic the Saiyan smiled slightly, gesturing to himself with his thumb as he did so, "I'm done watching people get dragged off and disappearing, okay? Just because it's the rebels and not the Saiyans wanting to do it doesn't make it right, so they're shit out of luck. If they want to talk to you then they come find us, we're not sending anyone off anywhere, got it?" Realistically Kiton would probably be fine, but where Korian and Sayomi may be more sticklers for international law or whatever it was probably a bad idea they send him over.

"What? I am very confident that the treatments are going to succeed! Well... Approximately 99.9998% sure at least, if I crunched the numbers correctly," Aito explained, trailing off a bit at the end as he rubbed his chin, "And there is of course the factor of your own participation, something I cannot account for. Then there's what the therapy itself may induce, if anything, and of course how capable you are in terms of the physical therapy... So perhaps more like 98.9999% certain. In any case it will work, I'll see to it that it does." Between himself and Vegeta this process was guaranteed to work, that was never in doubt. The only thing Aito did not have solid details on were the period of time needed to do everything and just how well Viral would take to their therapy. Obviously there would be difficulties, that much was a given, but he hoped that it wouldn't be quite as difficult as previously feared. Smiling apologetically at using a perhaps off-phrase, Aito got ready to move along, offering out an arm for Viral to use as support.

"I fail to see how a coma would solve anything," Aito responded, giving Viral a confused look as he pretty much forced the Beastman to take his arm for help, "You're unhappy with your lack of mobility now and yet you wish to have none whatsoever, I fail to see the reasoning behind that." No one would get anything out of a coma, in fact all that would do would completely set back everything they were working on. If he thought Viral was being serious and it wasn't his depression talking then he might very well give an order then and there to not go into a coma, as absurd as such an order might be. Leading Viral out of the bridge they made a straight shot for the nearest exit, which was conveniently just down the corridor from where they had started. Having to wait just a second longer for the ship to depressurize and acclimate to Uuonoe, Aito finally undid the hatch and pushed the door open, shielding his eyes briefly as the natural light flooded into the ship. As the stairs descended for their access he took the lead again, making sure to keep the pace slow and reasonable as he helped Viral along.

Haku would have to be careful not to upset T'charrl here, as if he did then chances were he was on his own again. It was bad enough they were on a world he'd never been to before, if left to his own devices he may just as well come back to the ship and sit here, he'd get just about as much done. Smiling sheepishly at having given a compliment he nodded his head, turning briefly to watch as Aito and Viral left the ship ahead of everyone else. "Well yeah... You're pretty cool. I mean... After how we met and now you're talking to me, willing to give me a chance... That's cool. Plus you're a Prince and all, how many people can say they know a Prince?" Or that they were friends with one? Maybe saying they were friends was a bit of a stretch, but if he played his cards right it was possible. Wanting to get moving as well Haku started for the door, relieved to find that T'charrl was following alongside him. "Nectar, huh...? That's right, I forgot you eat that," he replied, "I don't know, alien food is usually pretty good though. I've only ever gotten sick once, but I think they fed me some rotten stuff that one time. I bet we can find some flowers though, shouldn't be too hard..."

If they let Shu keep bouncing here on the spot he was liable to put a hole in the floor, probably best to get a move on. With a hand on their backs Takeshi pushed both his brother and Kiton along, smiling amused as the younger Saiyan was getting all giddy. Might as well throw the cherry on the sundae as it were, as if Shu needed more reason to be hyper. "No way, that thing was a pain to kill. Besides, we're not trying to feed the whole damn city again, you know?" he said, grinning as he stopped pushing the other boys, ruffling his brother's hair, "We'll see what's around, maybe try something different this time! It might not be a bad idea to ask a local what's good though, don't wanna waste time hunting something gross."

Kiton stared at Takeshi, confused to how he couldn’t know about such things. Sighing lightly he shrugged, hoping maybe he would be able to educate him. “A collective signal…like…a broadcast, like an advertisement, you know? Billboards? Things with advertisements on them?” he spoke slowly, raising his hands a little, “Have you never been to a port before? You know…where travellers stop and trade and uhh…do other things before going on their way?” It was a little tough to explain this to him when it was a stronghold for outlaws most of the time to try and find the next bounties, but he was trying to think about what others might see beyond that and what they would look for at the ports. It was probably pointless trying to explain to him that, it was rare that military bodies took interest or regard in ports when it was the Galactic Police that was there, a force that these guys probably didn’t know about either.

Feeling rather thrown off Kiton rubbed his neck, staring at the ground until Takeshi spoke up, looking to him in confusion. He didn’t understand how that could work long term, the moment they took their eyes off him he could be gone. “You’re willing to watch over me? Really?” he questioned him but was soon pushed along with the brother. Stumbling unsteadily along with them he tried to watch his own feet, half-thinking he might as well levitate instead. He didn’t want to end up flat on the floor just because he couldn’t keep up with their feet. When Takeshi finally released him to play around with his brother he sighed, rubbing his neck. “You’re going hunting too? Wouldn’t it be easier to buy something in the city?” he asked before frowning, scratching his chin, “Then again, the locals might not like my kind. I guess hunting is probably better…”

Viral was already pretty fed up with Aito the moment he started giving him some pretty meaningless numbers, already wondering what he was supposed to be feeling when he was given these pointless statistics. There was room for failure, he understood that, but whether Aito was being over the top with his confidence over this he was only able to wait and see how everything will progress. If his body wasn’t going to accept the treatment then he might as well be dead. “I don’t even know how you get these numbers…” Struggling to walk through the pain was one thing but having Aito completely miss the point over his complaint and force him to take his support. Growling in annoyance already he lowered his head in defeat, finding nothing else that could possibly take his mind off the pain.

Waiting for the ship to depressurise gave Viral only a moment to think about the treatment before Aito opened the doors, grumbling at the natural light. He was already uncomfortable with this, but he had to go through with it if he was to ever feel normal again. As Aito helped him along he tried to recover from the sudden change in sunlight. “I already am regretting this decision. Did we have to go to a planet with this many suns…?”

T’charrl didn’t know how to feel about Haku wanting to hang out with him when he thought he didn’t like him and got freaked out by his mannerisms and problems. Even he freaked out over his problems but he didn’t want to pass it to others to sort it all out, even if it was to someone who didn’t really seem to like him very much. Scratching at his side, he stared at Haku, feeling unsure about whether he really meant what he was telling him. “Uhh, w-well you know three Princes…” he muttered, smiling a little before sighing, scratching at his head. “I guess I am pretty, umm…patient”. Maybe it was silly thinking nobody would like him, but it was hard to believe anybody random would want to be his friend. Twitching his antennae when the door opened he looked to Haku, frowning with curiosity as he could only wonder if what he ate was weird for everyone to hear him say. “Uhh, y-yeah, I mean…w-we do eat plenty of normal things…” he spoke, looking away for a moment, “Rotten? I thought you Saiyans had a good sense of smell for rotten food? Uhh, well, we can look for food for you too that won’t be rotten. I just, uhh…really need to see to my problem, if that’s okay. What were you wanting to do, anyway?”

Takeshi could only give Kiton a blank stare as he explained what a billboard was, not having any idea whatsoever what he was talking about. Never in all his time traveling around had he noticed anything like that, there had never been any reason to stop at one of these so called trading posts. Hell, this was the first time he was hearing about any sort of stop anywhere in space, having figured it was basically just planets and the occasional ship. Then again... They had stolen their own ship off of a station, did that count? Rather than bother learning more about these billboard things the Saiyan ushered his brother and the Frost Demon along, wanting to get out of the ship and get to having some fun. After they had left the bridge he took his hands from the others, giving Shu's hair a playful ruffle before sliding both into his pant pockets. "How are we gonna buy food without money, huh?" Takeshi asked, glancing over at Kiton with a smirk, "And you're with us, stop thinking everyone's gonna freak out or attack you. We're friends with these people, you know? So if you're traveling with us then that means you're an alright guy. If you do something stupid though..." he paused, stepping out of the open door and simply jumping down, landing at the base of the ladder and glancing back, "Then that might change things, but I'm sure we're all cool, right?"

"It's simple really, obtaining the data. You just run simulations, take into account all the potential side-effects and then factor in the expected window of time needed for the treatments to take effect. Every single scenario I ran had a success rate of at the very least 95%, and the average of those came out to 99%, simple really." Simple, if one considered a hundred or so simulations to be simple. There was no length too painstaking to ensure Viral's well being though, and really it had taken Aito all of 30 minutes to do all of the crunching. Trying to support Viral as best he could as they exited the ship, the Saiyan eased the two of them down the steps, acutely aware of the discomfort that his son must be feeling right now. If he were to offer the ulterior and carry Viral then he very much doubted the chance would be taken, albeit pride really mattered little when well being was on the line. For the time being he'd try and allow this, though at the first hint of there being serious pain he'd move the Beastman himself. "I've never been here before, so don't act as though this was my decision," Aito responded, smiling as he finally got Viral to the ground, taking a brief pause to let his legs take a respite, "But the sunlight will help you, so look at it that way. It helps the mood too, though it's not going to suddenly make you all smiles I'm afraid."

Trying to befriend a Prince was certainly unusual for Haku, as it never would have passed in a million years on Kortal. Someone like him just didn't even talk to someone as prominent as a Prince, let alone get all buddy-buddy with them. The fact then that T'charrl was so okay with their chatting and even hanging out was honestly a bit confusing, but also exciting and a welcome change. "Oh... Heh, I guess I do know three Princes! I don't know if they're exactly my friends though," he mumbled, or whether T'charrl even was for that matter. It was a little awkward tagging along like this, feeling almost as though he was forcing himself upon the alien. Unless he was explicitly told to leave though he'd try to make it work, hoping somewhat desperately to make a friend today. "We do... But uh... I had a bit of a cold that day too," Haku recalled sheepishly, flashing an embarrassed grin as his cheeks flushed, "Normally I'd be fine though. As for what to do... Well, I love exploring new worlds. Never really had the chance before, the military doesn't exactly let you wander around. So I guess just see what's here, maybe find something fun to do along the way?"

Kiton didn’t know how he was going to last with these people if none of them appeared to have any idea or understanding to what he was on about, his basic livelihood up until that point. He was used to being in all of these places, those posts were often his second home and there they were looking at him like they had no clue about any of them. All of a sudden he felt very alone, like he might not be able to talk to these guys about anything he previously knew, leaving him in a confusing white void when it came to conversation. Letting out a groan he lowered his head, feeling rather drained over what he was learning about these people. “What? You seriously have no money?” he asked, staring at Takeshi in disbelief, “You have this giant ship! You could host a flying market in here if you wanted and yet you have no money…? How do you get this thing serviced??” Watching as jumped on out he watched Shu follow right after him like a little animal, but instead of doing the same he simply levitated and floated down after them. “’Stupid’ to you might be instinct for me. You wouldn’t know if you were doing something wrong if you came from a different culture, would you? Something completely normal in your eyes could be the worst crime against an entire alien race to them. You’d be seen as completely stupid, but you wouldn’t know what you did wrong…”

If there was one thing Viral was nervous about it was this talk about side-effects being a factor. Whatever this guy was planning on putting him through was going to be everything he could do to get this maximum success rate, he didn’t even know if any of this stuff was going to be something he’d want to object to and only decreasing the success rate. It was everything he didn’t understand when it came to science, but if there was ever going to be one thing Viral would object to it would probably be ignored and the treatment would go ahead anyway despite the risks and his own worries. He wasn’t only going to be given medicine, it was never going to be that easy. Numbers and digits were easy to make up but whether they were actually true made him feel very nervous and almost wanting to punch Aito for being so presumptuous that his treatments would work. He probably thought highly of his work, but Viral didn’t trust him until something he did actually came out fully functioning without any problem. “I know sunlight will help me, but I haven’t had natural light in ages and suddenly coming out into several shining lights doesn’t make me feel any better!” He felt he was getting annoyed at the smallest of factors, but it was making him feel worried he might not come out of this at 100%. If he was going to go through gene treatment then something about him was bound to go missing in the process.

T’charrl knew he shouldn’t but he felt rather nervous about making new friends, his past experiences being none too pleasant despite the fact that he was a Prince. People always thought of him as weird and even if these people were somewhat okay with what he could do he still knew they didn’t like it and would prefer he did use his powers as little as possible. It was all a learning experience, but for him it was a lifelong challenge he still hadn’t completed yet, even if the likes of Shu and what not called him a friend. For someone who wanted to kill him at the start, Haku was certainly trying to be friendly to him but even with that positive energy he still felt doubt that it wouldn’t end in failure. Following behind the others he stared at Haku, feeling confused with his excuse already. “A…cold? I-uhh…what is that? My people don’t take cold very well, but you can have one too…?” Feeling confused, T’charrl gave Haku a nervous smile, finding some connection to what he was talking about now. “I never got to explore very far when I was growing up. Other nations usually sent their Princes and Princesses to other nations to make allies and trade with them, but uhh…the war in my nation had me involved in…I couldn’t do more than scout and fight off any intruders to keep my people safe, but even then I wasn’t very good at it. They kept trying to capture me and eventually they got me. I must’ve made my mother and father so disappointed that I was so reckless…”

One hour later...

"See? You've got it squirt! Told ya flying was easy!" Their training wasn't anything super strenuous, just enough to make Shu push himself a little and get used to moving about. The forest as it turned out was a great place for it, what with branches and other plants all over the place; bobbing and weaving between branches proved to be a perfect training method for Shu. The little guy was used to it already anyways, jumping from tree to tree as he did, so it was kind of the same concept at its very core. Beaming up at his younger brother, Takeshi waved him back down with one hand, reaching out when Shu landed and giving his head an affectionate patting, "Look at you going every which way, I think you're getting it. Could be steadier still, and you've gotta control your speed, but you're coming a long way. Hell, I bet by the end of the day we won't even need to bother with lessons, you know? You'll be flying high in no time!" None of this was all too difficult, they could probably go a while yet until it was time for a break and food. With the promise of fruit looming over head chances were Shu was only too happy to do whatever was asked of him, meaning Takeshi pretty much had free reign here to decide what they trained. He couldn't forget though, they had Kiton with them as well, and he'd offered to train the Frost Demon as well, however he might go about that. "Hey Kiton, you look bored. Want to do a bit of training too?"

The atrium had been everything that Aito could have hoped for in more in a treatment center. It was like the place was specifically designed with Viral in mind, and with its high, glass ceiling and plenty of plant life and even a pristine pond this was as close to being in nature without having to leave the city. A small stone patio towards the side of the building had been set aside for them to use, and it was here they set up their machines; a monitor to follow Viral's heart rate, a bed for him to rest on, a small cabinet on wheels with medicines, a table with their centrifuge and a few small machines for various purposes, packed away and stacked neatly in a pile along the wall. "Well, I think that just about does it, we should be all settled in now," Aito declared, smiling as he gave a small nod, dusting his hands off with a clap. "Now then, I suppose we should probably get to work right away, don't you? I'm not sure how long they're leasing this wonderful room out to us, so best make full use of it while we can!" Having brought a few wheeled chairs along with them as well, the doctor grabbed one for himself and pulled it over, turning it around and sitting down, his arms folded over the back and his legs parted around the support of the back rest. "Is the sunlight helping any, by the way? I know it's a bit diminished because of the glass, but enough ought to be getting through to make some difference."

For all his worries about wandering around on an alien world by himself, so far things were looking alright. It helped some too that T'charrl was along for it all, as if nothing else the alien could be imposing when he wanted to be. More than anything though Haku was just glad to have company, someone to share the enjoyment that was discovering a new world for the first time. After taking the briefest of tours about the city, and seeing what everyone else was up to, the unlikely duo had gone out into the woods, away from the Princes and Kiton to have a look around. While it was hard to saw what lied beyond the walls of this crater the wildlife inside here was very much brimming with activity. Plenty of little animals, and some not so little ones ran around on the forests floor, skittering to and fro at the sight of the unusual intruders. Haku found that he was enjoying himself quite a lot, being so far from conflict and violence for a change was a very nice change of pace. "So... Any flower you really like yet?" he asked after a while, smiling as he glanced at T'charrl, "The last one smelled really sweet anyways, but I don't even know how I'd try it." Trying to imitate T'charrl's eating he stuck out his tongue a bit, lapping at the air briefly before quickly popping it back in his mouth, suppressing a laugh behind his hand, "My tongue's not long enough, I'd have to bury my whole face in it!"

Shu was all excitable and was trying very hard to learn this flying business, hoping he could one day be like everyone else and be amazing at flying. He wanted to do all sorts of tricks in the air and fly around like he was amazing too, but he still had a long way to go before he could do that. He was doing fine just now with Takeshi, but he felt he could do more than that if he just tried hard enough. Feeling a little tired after so much concentration he felt happy when Takeshi ushered him down, smiling at him as he made his landing. “I soon have it! I do! I good at wiggles!” he giggled, giving his head a happy shake after the patting. He thought things were going well but he didn’t like how shaky he could be, but if he just practiced a little more he was sure he would finally get the hang of it. Wondering when they might go and get some fruit he watched as Takeshi decided to give the Frost Demon some attention, tilting his head curiously. It seemed like a good time while he was on a break for Takeshi to train with the guy, seeing how he had been patient enough to come along with them and not do much.

Kiton didn’t mind sitting around waiting for them to finish up with their little flying lesson, finding the fact that he was outdoors and not surrounded by goons to be rather refreshing. He needed this time to heal and to be left alone to rest up was pretty nice. Being fair happy to sit back and relax he sat up when his name was mentioned, looking to Takeshi curiously. “Huh? Oh uhh, training?” he repeated, giving his foot a rub, “I suppose. I haven’t grown my armour yet so would probably be fair”. He couldn’t be bothered growing it when he hadn’t decided on how he wanted it to look yet, whether he was happy enough having it look like how it did before or go with a new look. Slowly standing up he gave his shoulder a rub, circling it around. “I’m ready whenever you are. How do you want to do this?”

Viral didn’t know what to make of the atrium, whether he should feel better about being in this place or worried that it was going to be his final stop before he lost his mind. He couldn’t shake off the unease he was feeling over this treatment as a whole, how he was going to be the subject to many experiments despite being told that they weren’t that at all. He didn’t want to show off any weaknesses but the way he was moving was surely telling Aito how he felt so far, how he shuffled on the spot looking around at everything in the room before actually sitting down on the bed. It was too difficult to move around so sitting down felt like the best decision, even if he felt he could sleep the moment he sat down. He was so weak, it made him wonder if he could keep this up. Staring at Aito he narrowed his gaze a little, before looking to the ceiling. “I don’t know what I’m supposed to feel. I have too much on my mind that’s killing me right now to take in any positive energy”, he spoke, looking down at his paws, “To feel relief from this will take time. I can’t imagine what I am supposed to feel from the sunlight after so long”.

T’charrl was quite alright knowing he was far away from the others, even if he really liked the others. He just didn’t want them to be constantly burdened with him, thinking that was the reason they didn’t like hanging around with him. To be able to go out like this and still feel in control of himself was nice, even if he was with someone else that happened to not like him at first. The planet was a strange place now that they managed to see what it was like close up, even if they were flying most of the time. It was quite a nice planet with lots of colours and its own kind of wildlife, but luckily enough there was flowers that were large and smelled delicious. Settling into this kind of environment was easy, taking the large flowers and sticking his tongue down into them to get at the nectar. It was really refreshing and tasty, super sweet because of the sun and environment too. Moving to each flower he looked to Haku when he asked about favourites, tilting his head a little. “Huh? I really like the blue ones”, he smiled, hovering his antennae over the flower, “It smells really nice too”. Watching Haku curiously he watched as he tried to copy him, smiling at his strange attempts to be like him. “You could also eat the flower if you can’t do that. I don’t think my tongue is the same as yours. Unless it is…I’m not sure what yours is used for…”

"Yeah you are buddy, and you're only going to get better from here on out!" Takeshi responded, grinning as he gave Shu and approving thumbs up, "Just keep doing what I tell you and you'll be darting around in no time!" It was kind of fun watching Shu figure it out, and honestly he didn't much mind not training himself, not when Shu got to have so much fun doing this. There really wasn't anything that the older boy could think of that he needed to perfect, only that he needed to get stronger still. More training, more sparring, his regiment was straightforward, it was his brother's they had to keep working on. Shu's effort definitely earned him plenty of fruit later, but now they should try doing something with Kiton; the Frost Demon had just been standing there all patiently like, it was only fair he got something out of this too. Though he'd not said it outright, Takeshi had most certainly meant having a fight as their 'training', and he was thrilled to find Kiton was on the same page as him. Grinning eagerly at the prospect of their fighting, the Saiyan raised his arms up over his head before squatting, stretching each leg as he leaned to either side. "Doesn't matter to me, and careful what you say. I'm not a pushover," he replied, standing upright and holding out a fist towards the Frost Demon, "Either way I'm going to win, I don't go easy just because it's training. I know you're still hurt though, so maybe I'll make an exception and hold back, just a bit."

Viral was, as expected, quite nervous. Things would not become immediately better simply because of the change of setting, it would be a gradual process as would any treatment; being outdoors, or close to it as this should expedite Viral's recovery however. Relaxing in one of his chairs, Aito leaned across the back and smiled at the Beastman, hoping to get an honest assessment of their surroundings. "Don't be discouraged because there's no immediate relief, that's not how it works. Over the course of the next few days we'll just take it nice and slow. Some careful chat, relaxing in the sun, maybe a light meal here and there if you're up to it. I know exactly what we need to do but I'm going to try and go into it as slowly as possible, no reason to make you feel rushed." Even simple talk-therapy could prove to be overwhelming if it came across as pressure, so all the more reason to ease into it. Letting out a soft sigh Aito extended one leg to the side, pushing off the ground and gliding across the floor, keeping his eyes on Viral as he went. "So! With that being said... Anything you want to ask me? Any dreams you want to share? Worries? Thoughts? I'm here to listen to you, so if anything comes to mind don't hesitate to speak."

"Huh, are they? It's really hard to tell," Haku mumbled, getting on his toes to try and peek into one of the larger blue flowers. They smelled nice, sure, but he couldn't say they smelled appetizing. Much as he wanted to try and relate to T'charrl, figuring it was the quickest way to make friends, he just couldn't do it. Thankfully though the alien didn't seem bothered by his shortcoming, and the fact he was acting a bit silly looked to help too. "My tongue? Uh... Well it's definitely not used to lick flowers, that's for sure," Haku laughed, smiling as he glanced back at the flower, "I just taste stuff with it, that's all. Nothing fancy." Still, he could always try the flowers, just to see what T'charrl was on about. He'd tried eating weirder things before, how bad could a flower be? Grabbing one of the petals he turned it over in his hands curiously, not sure how he should even go about eating it. Deciding to just dive right in Haku gave a shrug, bringing it to his mouth and taking a big chunk out of it, slowly chewing it to sample the flavor. It was... Hairy, kind of bitter, and if he wasn't mistaken the underside was kind of slimy. With face growing green by the second he looked over at T'charrl, forcing a smile and swallowing, resisting a gag as he coughed. "Oh... Yeah... Tasty..."

Shu let out a giggle, getting all excited even if he was done with his training for now. He enjoyed it and was hoping the fruit would come soon, especially when he hadn’t had any that was fresh for a while. He was sure there would be some at the base he could have since they didn’t have any money or they could go looking for some that didn’t appear rotten or poisonous. He did wonder if there was any he should watch out for in this place, but maybe they could easily find out once they had gathered a whole bunch and took them back to the base to see. He didn’t want to be munching on fruit that was potentially poisonous, especially when knowing the dangers of such actions. Seeing Takeshi want to fight the Frost Demon he did back away a little, watching curiously to see how this might play out.

Kiton didn’t know how strong Takeshi was really, whether he was hiding away any power that he couldn’t spot on the surface, but either way he was still hurt himself and would probably have to take it easy anyway. He knew how strong a Saiyan could be and knew his own strength too, but it was never a good idea to underestimate an opponent. Getting u and ready for the training, he watched Takeshi get prepared for the training, looking a little confused at what he was doing before sighing at his words. “I would rather you didn’t make an exception for me. Even with injuries, I’d still rather you put some effort into the training”, he sighed before smiling, raising his hands and moving his feet into a stance, “Besides, it doesn’t look like you’ve fought a Frost Demon before. You know, there’s a reason we are called that. I’m ready when you are”.

Viral didn’t know why he couldn’t get settled in but he was trying, seeing how much he wanted this treatment to go right despite his great doubts. He was useless for so long and in pain for what felt like forever, not knowing how long he was going to have to continue going on like this until he finally was given relief. He couldn’t remember what it was like to be normal or if he ever felt normal in the first place, but despite Aito telling him he was going to succeed he found it very hard to believe. Feeling a little bothered by the lack of stress relief from being here he turned to Aito again, frowning. “You practically have a schedule sorted, huh…” he sighed, getting annoyed at Aito already just from his movements. Slowly moving around he lay down, trying to use the glass ceiling as a distraction when asked about what might be on his mind. He didn’t know how to start off and was already feeling rather uneasy, groaning lightly as he tried to define his first thoughts that might help him recover. “I’ve already said what my thoughts at, what my worries are…” he sighed, slowly rubbing his head, “The problem is I don’t dream anymore too. I am not having dreams because I’m not sleeping. They’re just nightmares and memories of pure torture…”

T’charrl was enjoying the flowers at least, finding their sweet nectar to be all too refreshing. He hoped this was going to help him for a while with everything that was happening, but even if it didn’t he knew he was getting some good energy into him and was managing to help the spirit inside him too. Sitting down with one of the large flowers he stared at Haku as he explained how his tongue worked, looking down to the flower again. “I don’t lick flowers. I drink from them”. Feeling confused, he still watched Haku try consuming one of the flowers, tilting his head before frowning at his reaction. He certainly didn’t like eating it judging by his reaction, sighing lightly. “You don’t need to lie. I can tell when you’re lying to me”, he spoke, pulling off a petal and giving it a shake before rolling it up and eating it. It tasted fine to him, like a salad leaf from the ship but less water, kind of sweet too. “…You probably ate the pollen. Pollen is pretty strong and dry. You have to eat the right parts, not just eat all of it”.

Takeshi couldn't help but break out into a grin as he and Kiton prepared, feeling very excited about their fight. Any time he got to test himself against one of their own it was fun, and even more so if he came out on top. Considering how much he'd been fighting and training he thought it safe to say he was stronger, now was just the time to confirm that. "Don't hold back? Fine, but you asked for it," the Saiyan answered, smiling as he widened his stance, getting low and holding his arms up and ready, "And Frost Demon, Saiyan, Kaesstrian, whatever you are I don't care, I'll fight you and I'll beat you, that's all there is to it." Kiton wasn't wrong, he never had fought someone like him before. Resisting the urge to just leap right in and start going all out immediately, for once, Takeshi decided to play it safe. Shifting slightly every time he began to move to the side, watching Kiton to see if he was going to do anything. First things first, he should try figuring out just how strong the guy was more than anything. Smirking he leaned forward slightly, pulling his arms down to his sides before pushing off and vanishing afterwards, reappearing right at Kiton's side and trying to deliver a hard kick to it, spinning his whole body around to do so.

"Well yes, naturally I have a schedule. I would hardly go into anything blind and without some plan of attack," Aito responded casually, "Those are only general guidelines however, we'll spend as much or as little time on each particular area as need be." The treatment was to be tailored entirely to Viral's needs and wants, and already they were changing the planned treatments to fit what the Beastman wanted help with first. To make any leeway there however there was the need to get talking, something he knew not to be Viral's strong point. Though he had asked a very broad question, Aito had hoped for a decent answer, only getting a broad reply in turn. "I see... So when you try to relax your mind wanders and, inevitably, turns back to those instances... Well the obvious route is to simply think of something else, albeit that is difficult to do. So then, how do we fix that?" Smiling as Viral laid down the doctor pushed his chair again, coming up alongside the bed. Looking at his son with a curious glance for a moment he reached out, laying a hand over Viral's eyes without so much as a word prior. "I want you to take a few deep breaths, and imagine just for a moment if you will being out in a small cottage in the woods. I want you to imagine being there with us, with Vegeta and June and myself, and being gathered around a fire. We're all enjoying a day off together, having a freshly made meal and relaxing in the comfort of the cabin. I want you to think about how that would feel, being away from the stressors of every day life, of having the freedom to do as you pleased, for however long we were there. Can you do that?"

Haku was trying, perhaps too much to relate to T'charrl; both of them were different species, never mind different people, so it was a silly endeavor. Trying to eat a petal was a bit too much for the young Saiyan, and after getting a mouthful of bitterness he swallowed the first bite reluctantly, hardly fooling the alien. "Oh... Oh pollen?" he asked, making a face as he got a foul aftertaste in his mouth, turning his head and spitting a few times before trying to wipe his tongue off. Okay, that was probably in the top ten worst things he'd ever tried to eat before. Watching as T'charrl did the same thing as him and ate the petal without so much a blink he smiled apologetically, albeit still determined to try and relate somehow. "So... Eat one of those petals, and roll it up?" He just needed to avoid the pollen-y ones, which evidently were the ones with what he thought were 'hairs'. Looking back at the flower he ran his finger over a few, managing to find one that was smooth and slightly moist to the touch, hopefully with nectar. Plucking the petal Haku examined it carefully before mimicking what T'charrl had done, popping it in his mouth to taste. While it was hardly the greatest thing ever still he could actually stomach it, finding to be like an oddly chewy and sweet lettuce leaf. Swallowing the entire thing he smiled slightly, looking back at the flower and idly playing with the petals, "Not too bad... I don't think I'd make a habit of eating them though."
