Larentia smiled a real smile and focused her gaze on the Headmaster, the welcoming speech and warnings given before the feast began. She reached for several foods and quickly filled her plate, her stomach growling in hunger.

Poking Oriana's shoulder she gestured to the food and raised a brow as she began to eat, pausing halfway when strands of hair began to free themselves from her now messy bun. She frowned and huffed softly. She had her hands full dammit.

Alicia Lorraine

Alicia grinned harder when Oriana was sorted into her house as well, she glanced up and found Professor Peverell holding up her glass, she felt her face flush and she thankfully averted her gaze as the staff table filled with food. Humming softly she reached forward and began to fill her plate, she was suddenly starving.

She's focus on her new students after she'd successfully stuffed her stomach. @Nallore

Oriana felt her friend gently touching her shoulder and stared at the huge feast that had mysteriously appeared in front of everyone, her mouth started to water and her stomach started to growl at the sight of the food. She quickly started to grab her plate and quickly started filling it up with turkey, corn, rice, stuffing and anything else that she liked and fitted on her plate.

Closing her eyes as she took the first bite of her turkey, she heard Laurentia huffing and noticed that her bun had become a slight mess. She stood up and smiled. "Here let me help." Oriana said s she gently started to undo the bun and then remade it using her gentle hands until it was completely fixed.



Andromeda smiled and turned her gaze to the members of her own house knowing that they would have a run for their money with Laurentia in Slytherin house. As the food appeared in front of her Andromeda started to quickly dig into the feast as the room started to grow louder with the new students and old students getting to know each other.@Arista

Larentia moved into Oriana'a touch slightly, easily still managing to eat her mushroom soup with small bits of crackers inside, she relaxed further as the sounds of others talking filled the air once more. She paused in her eating and glancing back at her housemate, a brow arching slightly.

"Have any questions I can answer? I'm from this world and know a lot about it. I'd be happy to help." She offered and nearly yelped when a translucent form suddenly emerged from the plate of turkey before her, she managed to snarl softly as the ghost teasingly tipped his hat and rose from the table.

"Welcome to Slytherin house, I'm the bloody barren at your service, pleasure to meet you." He states before floating away, Larentia shakes her head and smiles, she remembered reading about the ghosts that pertained to each house. She'd forgotten to be honest.

Alicia Lorraine

Alicia watched the hall as she ate, the storm from otiside continuing as laughter and chatter filled the air, she smiled fondly and relaxed as she continue to eat. She wondered briefly who would enter the UE this term, a thoughtful frown tugged on her lips as she mentally began to go through her student lists.

She hummed softly as a streak of lightning filtered though the sky, the feast would end soon, tomorrow was the first day after all. @Nallore

Oriana smiled at Laurentia when she turned to look up at her. "Just trying to be helpful I noticed that it was getting in your way is all." Oriana said softly looking down at her housemate's soup which looked really good, she went to sit back down next to Laurentia and grabbed herself a bowl of soup as well. "So uh yeah I do have some, how long has this school been here, and why do the none witches and wizards know about all of this?" She asked softly.

When The Bloody Baron came out of the table Oriana screamed loudly and quickly she clung to Laurentia, staring terrified look on her face as it tipped his hat towards them. Oriana then turned her attention back to her friend blushing deeply before letting go looking very embarrassed.



Andromeda leaned back against her seat looking to the group of first years and smiled she was excited to start teaching them, and turned her attention towards Alicia and smiled to her. "So excited to start teaching the newer students for our new class?" Andromeda asked.

Larentia gently pat Oriana's head and absently spooned soup into her mouth as she thought. A soft hum coming from her lips as she picks an answer and voices it, waving as the Bloody Baron floated away.

"Centuries, I think about five or more? I haven't read 'Hogwarts A History' in awhile. And for the next...it's a it hard to explain, your Mugggle-born which means you inherited your magic maybe from your Grandparents or an Aunt. Pure-blooded wizards and witches can have non-magical children -their are known as Squibs- but are normally either disowned or ignored. Muggle-born children don't learn about their magic until either it lashes out on accident or they receive their letter. It's forbidden for wizard of witch to show magic, it's a penalty to do so. Anything else?" She asks, finishing her soup and grabbing a piece of chocolate cake, a smile lighting up her face as she takes a small bite.

It was fun, having someone ask questions like this.

Alicia Lorraine

Alicia chocked on her drink at Andromeda's question, she forgotten her fellow Professor was sitting beside her. Taking a breath and battling to keep a blush from her cheeks, she offered a nod and a smile.

"Yes, I can't wait to see how they do." She whispers softly and pushed her empty plate away, smiling when it vanishes. She grabs a plate and cuts a piece of red-velvet cake and takes a bite, humming softly in contentment at the warm, spongy piece that she easily chews and swallows.

She wouldn't be able to sleep after this but sleep be dammed, she was eating until she was full. Besides she still had papers to grade. @Nallore

Oriana looked up at Laurentia as she gently patted her on the head which made her blush even more, she watched Bloody Baron floating off and started to calm down some more and closed her eyes to relax. Her attention quickly went to Laurentia as she started to tell her how old the school actually was. "That is really old, I wouldn't think that a building like this so old is still standing." Oriana said softly as she looked around at the various deserts that were spread out all over the table now.

She reached over and grabbed some cookies as well as a slice of chocolate cake and quickly started to eat them. "Do you know any of the teachers here and what they teach?" Oriana asked looking over at the headmaster and then the rest of the teachers that were in front of the students eating as well.



Andromeda smiled noticing that Alicia was blushing slightly and continued to eat her food and went straight to the cupcakes that were set up in front of her and started to dig in, deciding not to say anything about it for now. She didn't really have much to do anything after the feast and finished grading her papers earlier that day.

She started to then remember her own first years back at Hogwarts and turned to look at Alicia. "Do you remember your first year here? I remember mine really well, I think we did have a few classes together back then right?"

Larentia finished chewing her piece of cake and hummed softly in thought, her head tilting to one side as she scanned the table, her lips twitching slightly as she noticed a familiar figure happily eating a piece of red-velvet cake.

"Want to take a guess?" She asked with a mischievous smile tugging on her lips, she raised a hand and waved her hand discretely. A yawn escaping her as she finished her cake and knuckled her eyes. She relaxed at the presence of the figure as she turned her head and focused her blue-green eyes on the person sitting beside her.

Alicia blinked and smiled at the wave Larentia offered, her focus turning to Andromeda once more, a smile tugging on her lips as the memory came to mind.

"Yes, though at the time I was going through a few family problems, even at eleven things were changing for our world. I remember seeing you in Transfiguration, Charms, and Potions and instantly making you my rival. Childish really but you always answered questions with ease, kept taking notes even when the Professor was lecturing on something that had nothing to do with the subject we were learning- " She paused and lowered her head, a blush once again rising to her cheeks, her crimson hair shielding her wide-eyed stare. "-I suppose I admired you is all." She finished and cleared her throat, looming away and reaching for a glass of pumpkin juice with slightly twitching fingers.

The floor could happily open and swallow her whole now. @Nallore

Oriana looked amongst the group of professors and slowly shook her head going for a sip of some water and finished eating the rest of her desert and leaned back in her seat. "I really have no idea, but i'm sure that they are actually really good teachers to teach us magic." Oriana said running a hand through her long blonde hair and blushed slightly when Laurentia started to stare at her and then reached for a cookie.

"So you have servants i'm guessing that your family is very wealthy right?" Oriana looked over at her and smiled softly.



Andromeda blushed slightly running a hand through her hair and smiled. "Thank you, though you were way better at quidditch then I was back then you were really good even sent me to the Hospital Wing quiet a few times. But still you were one of the best players in the whole school." She said with a smile reaching over for her drink and watched as Laurentia waved at Alicia and smiled. "Seems like shes going to be one of your better students."

Larentia finished her cake and the last of her pumpkin juice before answering, a smile tugging on her lips as the chatter and voices lowered slightly, a clap of thunder flashing across the sky had her attention snapping to her friend.

"For our world servants are known as house-elves, you remember Tizzy? She's one of them who work for my family. Being PureBlood means a lot of things but yes, it means I'm rich but I do things on my own instead of allowing my friends to do it for me. My twin revels in her ability to boss them around whenever she's home, if she only knew they serve her our of respect for me instead of my parents. You'll meet my related family member soon, she may be in our house." Larentia offered with a dismksskbe wave of her pale hand, her gaze focusing on an older girl with a green badge on the fromt of hee robe with a capital P on it.

The girl rose and made a gesture for the other Slytherin to stand as well, her eyes scanning the hall and noticing that the other Perfects were doing the same for their own house, seems the feast is over.

Alicia snorted softly and raised her left hand, rising to her feet she flicked Andromeda's forehead before beginning to make her way towards where her sixth-year Prefect stood organizing her slightly drooping snakes.

"'Course I was, I couldn't let the Ravenclaw Seeker beat me, I was Slytherin's Seeker for a reason you know. And yes, she will be, she is after all my niece. I will see you tomorrow Professor, I have a few papers I still need to grade, if the weekly UE meeting schedule is the same then I shall see you tomorrow after classes, good evening." She stated primly with a practiced spin that had her robe billowing around her ankles as she spun on her heel and made her way towards the main doors. She seemed to mix with the crowd until she vanished, her claws lightly signaling her scurry as she made a beeline for the corridor that leads to the Slytherin common room.

She needed to prepare in order to greet her new snakes after all. @Nallore

"Yes I remember Tizzy your servant? She asked me to be friends with you which of course I was already am I right?" Oriana asked with a smile and then heard another loud clash of thunder causing her to jump slightly and then calmed down. She turned her attention back to Laurentia as she told her she would be meeting a relative of hers very soon and in the same house as well.

"Well I cant wait to meet him or her." Oriana then watched as the Prefects were getting up and motioning for the other students to follow them, when she watched Laurentia getting up Oriana did as well assuming that the feast was now done. Quickly walking alongside Laurentia as they left the Great Hall, following the rest of the members of Slytherin house. When they got to the stairs Oriana noticed that they were all starting to move.

"Do they always move like that?" She asked watching as the other students were going up the stairs and heading towards their separate dorm rooms.



Andromeda was taken back slightly when she felt Alicia flicking her forehead and watched as she stood up, meeting with the sixth year Slytherin Prefect and watched her starting to lead the group of Slytherin students out of the Grand Hall. "It hasn't changed, so I shall see you at the UE meeting, and enjoy your evening I know I will."

Andromeda got up and motioned for all of her students to follow her as well and headed towards the staircase and headed up towards the highest tower where the Ravenclaw Dormitories were.

Larentia gestured to the stairs that led up to the other houses, her other hand gesturing to the corridor that leads down to the dungeons.

"Yes, however we're going down though so there's no need to go up unless for classes. And yes you are my friend." Larentia follows behind the rest of her housemates following behind their head of house, the sounds of voices and footsteps fading as they desended down the stairs, the temperature dropping slightly as they continue downward.

Alicia sighed softly and rolled her shoulders,
her gaze automatically scanning the dungeon on habit before beginning to move once more, her boots thudding softly against the stonefloor. Pausing before a blank wall, she raised her wand and tapped it, turning to her students and focusing on her new first-years.

"The password to enter the Slytherin common room is Serpens custos, this must be said when we you'd like to enter. If you forget you may knock on the wall and it will open for you, however do try to remember it, passwords will now become a part of your daily routine. Now let's go inside then shall we?" She moved inside and made her way to a wing-backed chair that had her owl perched atop it, her head nestled into her wing. Smiling she took a seat and crossed one leg over the other and gestured for her students to sit on the plush carpet that stretched across the cool stone floor. @Nallore

Oriana smiled at Laurentia when she said that she was actually her friend and stood there for a few more moments as the other students headed up the stairs watching as some moved still amazed at the sight of it. Then she caught a glimpse of the rest of her housemates moving down into the dungeon and quickly followed after Laurentia.

When they were at the entrance of the Slytherin common rooms Oriana quickly noted the password to get inside, when the doors opened Oriana walked inside looking over at Alicia as she took a seat in one of the chairs. Oriana then sat down with the rest of her housemates did.



Andromeda continued to lead the rest of her students up into one of the towers where the Ravenclaw common room was, looking over at her first years she smiled and then told them the password and the door opened revealing a very beautiful room. "This would be your dormitories, the girls on the left and the boys on the right. Now after hours students are not a loud to leave their dormitories or you shall be punished, other then that you are free to do what you wish."

Smiling softly as the familiar owl hoots and flaps it's wings, Larentia stretches her legs put and watches with attention as their head of house sighs softly and gestures with a lazy flick of her head the Common Room in general.

"This is where you will do homework, rest and live for the next six years. Any rule breaking will cost you house points, any achievements will earn you points. While here you are a family so I expect respect and guidance from the older years to the younger ones and vice versa. I am your Head of House, my name is Alicia Lorraine, pleasure to meet you. Girls dorm are up the staircase and to the left, boys on the right. Play nice my little snakes and enjoy your time here. Oh, before I forget, this is Sylla, she's the eyes and ears when I'm not here, whatever happens I'll know. Now, to bed, tomorrow's your first day." With that she stands and offers a smile before extending her hand and flicking her fingers, a small hole -the size for a person to pass through- appearing on the wall closest to the entryway. Larentia watches with awe as her aunt passes through and waits until Sylla follows before the hole vanishes as if never there.

"Well, I suppose we should go to sleep then. Come Oriana, we best not stay here long." Larenita whispered softly, extending a hand to her friend as the others begin to rise and make their way to the dorms, the older years having their own rooms instead of sharing like the younger years did.

Now that sleep was mentioned, Larentia felt the exhaustion from earlier wash through her body, a large yawn she couldn't hide in time cracking her jaw with its force. Shaking her head she offers a tired smile and waits.

Yawning for the fourth time within the five minutes it took to reach her rooms from the Common Room, Alicia shook her head and tapped her wand against the door, allowing Sylla to enter first before closing and locking it. Running pale fingers through orange hair, Alicia huffed and glanced at the paperwork that still sat on her desk. Thankfully it wasn't much, petting Sylla's head before focusing her gaze on the stack, her emerald eyes glancing at the clock hanging above her door before she began to move towards her desk, her wand hand absently flicking to light the fireplace.

Picking up her favorite black-fearher quill, Alicia gracefully sat in her chair and began to work, the only sounds filling her rooms where that of the clock and her pen moving across the parchment. @Nallore

Oriana went to sit down next to Laurentia and looked up towards Alicia smiling at her as she started to explain some of the rules of the house, and how to gain and lose points for Slytherin House. She looked back towards Laurentia for a moment and smiled at her friend as she moved closer to her. After Alicia was done she turned to watch her leave the room seeing a hole opening up and Sylla and her walking into it, she was still really and truly amazed at what she actually saw. "This place is still really amazing." Oriana said as the students started to get up and make their way towards their dorm rooms.

Seeing Laurentia's hand she smiled softly and accepted her friend's hand and pulled herself up. "Thanks Laurentia." Oriana said with a soft smile and walked behind her and headed up towards the girl's dorms. Seeing the room Oriana quickly picked out her bed right next to Laurentia's and got into it feeling how comfortable the beds were. Oriana turned around to face her friend. "Thank you so much again for helping me." Oriana said as she got up from her bed and started to get changed into something more comfortable and searching through her bags.

"Alright my little birdies, I will be the head of your house for the next six years. Here you can relax and do your homework or you can also do it down in the Grand Hall where you had your feast, you will gain and lose points for either not obeying the rules set by this school and you will gain points for whatever achievements that your other professors provide to you." Andromeda said with a smile looking to each and everyone of her students. "I shall see you all in the morning for your classes, and get some sleep now it will be a very long day tomorrow." With that Andromeda left the room smiling to her students once more.

Deciding to pay Alicia a quick visit she decided to make her way down towards the Slytherin house and flicked her wand to make an opening where she knew where Alicia's room was. Being really quiet and sneaky Andromeda snuck up behind Alicia and wrapped her arms around her. "What are you up to?" Andromeda asked with a smile pulling up a chair next to her.@Arista
