"Kill her! Kill her!", Ravenna mocked as Fandral slipped out of her grip, dying. Eric then took a torch and threw it into the cage, causing it to go into flames. The fire didn't seem to harm Ravenna as she just laughed and turned into the same black smoke. She bursted out of the cages and flew into the sky. "I will find you, Ravenna!", Eric shouted as he watched the smoke dissapear.

Later that night, at the palace of Asgard, a grand feast was being held along with the guests in rich clothes, dancing and feasting. In the hallway outside the throne room with the activities, a shadow appeared on the wall that had horns on its head, along with a second individual that looked normal. Maleficent, with her arm looped around Loki's own, walked down the hallway towards the door of the throne room. Loki had his light armor with his cape on without his helmet while Maleficent wore her gold gown with a necklace.

Walking through the hallway of the Palace with his mother, feeling abit excited with just the happy aura in the air. He was abit sad that he didn't get to see Eric but there were many things he didn't understand about the two of them. He didn't really accept it but somewhat moved on. Right now he just wanted to be here to take part, and represent the Moors. "Seems like quite the event. Many have come to celebrate." He pointed, looking around as many of the areas of the palace that included the hallways were decorated for the occasion. Plus hearing the feast and music that was playing for all to dance too.

Maleficent gave a chuckle as she heard Loki's comment. "We came to represent our home and bring our alliance to the kingdom. We are doing this for our home, my son. As much as I would like our war with Asgard to be over, now is our time to do", she said to him before stopping at the door where the two guards stood. She turned to face Loki before adjusting his tunic and his hair. She admired the armor that was made for him. It defined him as a prince of his land. She even cut his hair to represent his prince-like nature. Not that she didn't like his long hair, but she had to admit that his long hair was a bit of a mess.



Her dress defined the Moors. Not to mention that Loki made it for her.

"I know and understand mother. I am just bit excited." Just not as excited as many may think. When stopping at a door with two guards standing there. Loki saw Maleficent come infront of him to adjust his tunic and hair once again. He smiled as he gently grabbed her wrists and lowered them, sliding her hands into his. "Mother. For the fifth time mother, my attire and hair are fine." He knew it was a mothers habit but he only wanted her to relax and not worry so much over his wears and such of that nature. Loki wasn't exactly fond of the fact that his hair had to be cut again and rather like his long hair. But he had been willing to in order to represent his home. Most of his time away from the Moors after having done all that he had to do was spent in Asgard after Eric turned down the crown and went away. He watched other the palace and watched over the queen, just observing her before coronation. He only wanted to make sure that she had good intentions for the people and the land. Other than that, Loki did not mind. However he had been caught by her a few times. But none it turned ill. Just conversation and then a farewell.

"You still look lovely as ever mother." Though he was not the only one who made the dress for her. He had much help from the fae folk. They knew much that he didn't and had been glad that they had helped him. He even made sure to give credit was due.

Maleficent was so busy fixing Loki's tunic, she didn't all but notice him stop her by placing her hands in his own. She looked at them before looking up at him. She couldn't help but smile. "I'm sorry. It's just...after all the trouble we've been through...I couldn't help but keep you in my eyesight now. I just...can't lose you anymore", she confessed to him sadly before looking down.

Loki knew the pain that she was feeling and couldn't blame her. His right hand moved let go of her own, lifting her head with the side of his index finger, leaning in and placing a kiss on her forehead. Leaning back, Loki then rested a hand on her shoulder. "I understand Mother. i don't want to keep you from my sight. But it is inevitable at one point." Loki formed a small smile on his lips. "Let us not worry about us. It is the Queen's day."

Maleficent couldn't help but notice that even though they are not related, Loki had the heart of an actual child of her own. Being loved in return, Maleficent would anything for him, even sacrifice herself like back then. Placing her hand on his right hand that was holding her chin, she took a sigh after what he said to her. She made a soft smile before placing her right hand on his own cheek. She leaned up and gave him a soft kiss on his free cheek.

Loki smiled when his mother kissed his cheek. Her held his arm out for his mother to take. "Shall we see the Queen, mother?" He asked her, ready to see her and represent the Moors.

Maleficent saw how happy he was to her. She had to smile back at him before taking his arm into her own. The giant doors opened and revealed the music sounding from inside. Some people were dancing in the center of the room while some drank and ate fruit. Maleficent began to walk into the room and through the crowd where some people bowed their heads in respect.

Walking into a large room filled with music, dancing, eating, and talking. Loki walked on as he saw these activities happening. Even some who were within crowds, bowed their heads toward them in respect as they walked by. The Jotun's excitement grew as he had been glancing around to see the activities. But he showed no smiling growing for he was feeling the lack of Eric's company when he turned down his crown and hardly saw the Jotun like he use to. But he wasn't going to show his sadness, his worry for the man for he knew where he was and wanted to have a little bit of a good time.

Maleficent looked around as she made a grin to them. Noticing Loki's excitement, she kept her grip on him before she noticed a table of fruit. "Are you hungry at all?", she asked Loki as she lead him to the table which had a fruit bowl with wine on the side.

Loki looked to the fruit and had gone to the table with her, but shook his head a little. "No thank you." He though looked to the nobles dancing before looking to his mother. He slipped his arm from his mother only to hold hold his hand out her. "Mother? May I have this dance?" He asked. He knew how to dance. After some curiousness, and practice. Loki learned to dance. Waltz more like, but he wanted to learn for when he felt the time would arise.

Maleficent gave a nod with a grin as she heard Loki's response to her question if he was hungry. She respected Loki if he was or not. She was sure that he didn't eat much since Eric left. She could tell that Loki was getting lonely again like last time. This was probably why he wasn't in the mood to eat. She felt his grip let go of her which caught her attention to him, only to see him reach his hand out and asking her to dance. She frowned before looking to the dancing nobles on the floor. Looking back at Loki, she gently set her hand in his own. "I'm not good at it", she admitted, worried to dissapoint him.

Loki gave his Maleficent a reassuring smile. He lead his mother to the dance floor. "It is alright mother, I will lead. It is not hard." He kept his smile. When at a good spot, Loki stood infront of her. His right hand on her waist and his left taking her hand gently. Loki looked to her and smiled. Slowly leading Maleficent through the steps, expecting her to possibly step on his toes like he had done at one point with Eric and any other Asgardian that helped teach him. But patient and taking it slow till he felt that they could pick up the pace a little. Not once did he looked away from her gaze.

Maleficent gave a nervous smile as Loki led her to the dance floor where the nobles were dancing. She found herself in front of him before she felt his hand on her waist and taking her hand in his other. She kept her gaze on him as he guided her through the steps of the waltz. She stumbled a few times but she managed to slowly follow her son's feet. She didn't once leave his gaze before she felt the pace of their dance picking up.

Loki's smile grew when he noticed how well his mother was doing during their waltz. Dancing along with the music. He didn't say anything, but was obviously having some fun. He didn't want to possibly break his mothers concentration. Continuing their dance till the music stopped or till Maleficent wanted to stop. Loki would stop, the smile now a grin. "You danced wonderfully, mother."

Maleficent kept her gaze on her son as she was lead around the dance floor. She gave a grin as she noticed Loki smile even wider. This was a new experience and Loki taught her how to overcome it. He was becoming a teacher like how she taught him sorcery. She felt Loki stop until she heard his compliment which made her chuckle. "It was worth a try though", she said as she put a hand lightly on his cheek and kissed him there. "You both are inseparable. We citizens are thrilled for your benevolence", another female voice said to them. Maleficent turned to see Frigga, who was approaching them. "Thank you, your majesty", the fae responded as she bowed her head in respect.

Loki's smile did fade when she spoke. Though turned to the female voice that spoke next and though the smile died down, his smile was still there. He only calmed himself as he bowed his head in respect. "Your majesty." Loki greeted. "This is a great celebration you have. All seem happy and grand." He said next as a complement.

Frigga gave a soft smile as she bowed her head in return to both of them before she heard Loki speak. "It is. All of us feel grateful for our kingdom to still stand. Even after the reign of Ravenna", Frigga said in response before turning to see the outside. "Would you like to take a walk?", she asked them. Maleficent looked at Loki to see if he was comfortable with it.

Loki knew all too well and knew many that knew what he did. But also who helped the most at rebuilding the kingdom after Ravenna's rule. But he didn't say anything. Watching Frigga turning and seeing what she was seeing, Loki heard her question and nodded after also feeling his mother's gaze on him. "Of course." And followed when Frigga was ready.
