Hello guy and welcome to my humble interest check.
My name is Vecko (the "c" is not silent) and I would like to present you my ideas and wishes concerning roleplaying. Although I am quite new to this site, I am not a complete newbie when it comes to roleplaying. As a youngster, I used to play dungeons and dragons a lot and although I ditched the rules as soon as I could, I still have a sweet spot for all those simple yet entertaining fantasy epics.
That said, I would consider myself a casual player. I can write posts of decent length and reasonable grammar although I have to admit that I lack a certain linguistic finesse, probably because English isn´t my first language, and my sentences can be funny at times. For that, I want to apologize in advance.
Let´s move to the really important stuff now, shall we?
Like I said earlier, I quite enjoy typical cliché fantasy stories, where unlikely heroes defeat evil and then live happily ever after. That being said, it certainly isn´t the only thing I like.
In fact, the dark and gritty fantasy is the real deal for me. I am not saying that things can´t magical and whimsical and godknowswhat-cal but I prefer realistic characters and naturalistic stories. I also love intrigues and plot twists that are actually built up and aren´t just a way to change the direction of plot coming out of nowhere.
Apart from fantasy genres, I am also fan of science fiction and could surely enjoy some dystopian story or a good sci-fi action.
The pairings can be romantic ones, but only MxF or FxF.
