I'm terribly sorry about falling off the face of the earth. My job got bad (very bad). Good news is I turned in my two weeks. Haha. So hopefully you should be seeing more of me.

Glad to hear work isn't holding you hostage. A lot of my partners have gotten busy it seems. I figure if I can help, they'd ask, otherwise I just figure it's a real life issue and try to wait. Of course if I don't hear from people for long periods, I just assume that's that. Glad to hear that's not the case here though. I should have a reply for you tonight or tomorrow. I start school next week so any writing I can do that isn't graded before then, is golden in my book.

I should be out of school, but it seems you need 427 specific classes to get a degree/graduate these days. And most are only offered by bad teachers or at 4 AM every other year. :/

That's no fun. I thankfully never had that problem. All my core classes fell nicely into line. It was my extracurricular classes that were the weird/odd hours. And those really didn't matter all that much.

If I wasn't stuck commuting 1-2 hours a day, I'd happily take more than 3-4 classes and maybe speed things along...but right now it's hard to hit everything on the check list when I have to factor in time spent on a train. I'm happy with my core/major classes but the others seem pointless ad the "fun" ones fill up fast. Either way, I'll be glad when I'm out and clawing for some kind of job *laughs*

I always lived on campus. Since I lived over 4 hours away. I can't imagine commuting 1-2 hours and sticking with it. I'm doing that for my job right now and it's killing me. x.x At least you're on a train. I have to drive with morons. *huffs*

But it's always a relief to be done with school. I know I was thrilled. :) Still am pretty much. Unless your a permanent student like my sister. She's still going to school and she's older than me. She was wavering for a time if she wanted her PhD, but decided against it; much to her professor's horror.

Driving probably does suck, I wouldn't know personally though. Commuting is hard on everyone, if people get to stay home or in the city to get things done, they are surely winning at life someone. Lucky bastards.

I'm trying to get out, as intimidating as the "real world" is I can't imagine being in school for a long time, it's not worth it. Though getting a PhD is at least some kind of goal to reach for. Hopefully she's still doing something somewhat productive. Of course if time wasn't an issue and grades weren't, I'd be happy to stick around and have fun expanding horizons and stuff. Beyond a B.A though, the effort shouldn't outweigh the reward and it's a tough choice some people need to be sure about bothering with.

I never really noticed a difference from "the real world" and school. Other than the acute (happy) lack of homework. Of course the jobs I've taken I don't have to bring my work home with me. That doesn't mean most jobs don't have "homework". The hardest part is getting a job that you like. So you shouldn't be intimidated.

Thanks. I'd take almost any job really but being miserable at one's job is also a big issue some people have. I've heard plenty of people stuck in desk jobs where they do nothing but sit around. It can be complicated for sure.

Thanks, but things are looking better. I ended up quitting my job so I'm unemployed again *laughs* but it made all the difference. I feel like a real girl again. Thankfully I have family here that's willing to look out for me.

That's good, better to get away from stress and all kinds of negativity. I hope you find another job but it's good you have people who look out for you. Sadly not everyone is as lucky.

Hey, nice to see you're back.

And on a stalker note... I've looked over your new interest checks you put up and saw

I'd like to try and return to the Guild. I'm not sure I'll be able to though, not that I don't want to, but because my old partners seem to have faded away and it's hard to find that special connection, you know? I didn't really miss the Guild, as much as I felt bad about being away and letting down those I was with. So I'd love to go back to the mindset of having fun and not being stressed or shamed into posting.

And I just wanted to let you know that if you're no longer interested in doing this RP, there're no hard feelings (I would really dislike shaming you into posting). I'd just like to know if I should continue to sit on this one or not.

Heya.

I had two active partners (one who vanished into thin air and the other is kinda MIA too) on here who I thought were really great and that's why it's hard to come back. Plus the habit of hopping on here has been broken thanks to my last semester. I'm trying to get back into the Guild but coming back everything is so dead...it's depressing. It doesn't have to do with our RP though, in fact you and one other person are the only things that show signs of life, which is nice. ^^

I'm trying to get back into the Guild but coming back everything is so dead...it's depressing.


It is very slow right now. But it should pick back up once the holidays are over. I know I won't be posting anything this week come Monday because I'll be extra busy with work and moving my grandparents.

But it's good to know that you're still interested in this story. :)
