It could be the way you're structuring the sentence. Every BB code has to be closed off properly and sometimes people make errors.

Could you give a good example?

also, color text really appreciates [color=#00a99d][/color] rather than [color=00a99d][/color]

Some tags really don't like it if you mix them up in order. like this: [a][b][/a][/b]
