Hi. I write a lot and have played D&D and other tapletop games. I really enjoy combat and have a character started that I use in a Pathfinder game he is a 12th level Half-Elf Magus. Can I use him on this site and fight people with him? Is it ok to use magic and weapons and be good at both at the same time?

I would say yes. You should join the discussions on the arena hq thread or the other arena question and answer. Of course working the spells and other sundry D&D character class elements should not be difficult as long as you remember there are no absolutes.
