Hmm I actually really like that idea, it kind of makes sense. Like it makes sense why they would be rare and special. It would fit the things about the guys you pointed out. Plus it would make sense on why they are the girls guards to. Also the fact they suck energy instead of blood, because if they were wizards they would have needed it.

Yeah plus the flash backs are really fun to write and read. I still think the one we just did with Lia sick is the sweetest so far.
