Maleficent had her gaze on Kili when she asked him this question. It wasn't a piercing gaze that she would usually give to those who deserve to give her an answer, it was a gaze that shows that she was listening intently. His reaction to her question told her that she must have struck a nerve within him. Hearing the dwarf's story about his parents made her frown in guilt for asking such a question. "I'm so sorry", she finally said in her strong but soft voice before she laid one of her pale hands on top of his own tanned hand. "My parents were killed back in the realm of Asgard. I never thought that day would come at me", she said before looking at the fire. "I was alone for centuries. Until, he came. My son", she said the last sentence softly with a sad smile that was close to a whisper. "From there, he was important to me. Above all else. He's young. He'll learn", the fae said before looking to the dwarf.

Kili heard Maleficent speak, Felt her soft hand on top of his tanned hand. The smile that formed on his lips was small held some sorrow but accepted his comfort though made no move. Kili, though had not expect her to tell about about her family. It was was rather unexpected but had been listening. Her son must be her everything. Very special. He could tell. "Your son sounds like quite a Special young man to have a mother like you." Kili commented feeling what he said was true though he had not met him.

"My life revolves around him", she responded to him. "I couldn't leave him not would he leave me", she finally sighed as Loki's face appeared inside her head that almost made her break. She could see him as a young boy till he grew into a man. She didn't want to tell Kili about his heritage though. Enough people know about it, and she didn't want to tell behind Loki's back. If he was comfortable with it, she could. "Where will I be without him?", she thought aloud before shaking her head. "Enough about me", she said before standing from the chair she sat and gazed upon the swords that hung on the wall. Her curiousity got the best of her when she tried reaching out and touching one. But that resulted in her making a gasp and a hiss of pain when she felt iron come in contact with her pale skin, making her pull back.

Kili listened intently, hearing about just how much Maleficent loved her son. It was quite amazing. Such a compassionate woman, he saw in her. Seeing her get up after talking about herself, Kili saw her go toward the swords upon the wall. He too got up, followed her. "They were made by my uncle. He made them for me when I came of age and had skills with a sword." He saw her reach over to touch one. He got nervous. "Careful," only to hear her gasp. He came to her side. "They are sharp. Are you alright?" He asked.

"Ow!", the fairy exclaimed in pain when she took her hand away from the sword. Maleficent held her burned hand and tried to soothe it. Iron. The sword was covered in it. "Iron. It burns me", she said in one breath to him. She looked at her hand before it began to heal instantly. "I am a fae. Iron burns me, even to the slightest touch", she informed him before turning her head to face him. "Don't be afraid", Maleficent said to him before unbuttoning her cloak at the front and then removing it from her shoulders, revealing her large wings on her back. Without the cloak, the fae was still wearing her black cat-suit outfit, showing that she was more slender without the cloak. "You can touch them if you like", she offered in a soft voice before letting one of her feathered wings stretch out a little bit towards him.

Kili was surprised. He felt bad about her getting hurt, especially within his own home. Though seeing the burn heal quickly like magic. He heard her reveal she was fae, which if he had thought about, he would have guessed from her beauty and her curved horns. At the moment he was rendered speechless, unable to think of words to say. He wasn't afraid that was for sure, though stood back to give her some room as she took off her cloak. Kili could not believe the woman he saw before him. Her wings were just extraordinary. Beautiful. Just more proof she was fae. Honestly, Kili felt like a little boy who had wonder and joy. Hearing her offer to let him touch her wings, seeing one of her wings extend, Kili reached out a hand carefully till he was able to touch a feather. A smile formed on his lips, shear excitement filled him. "Oh, wow. This is," Kili paused a moment to collect any words. "I am just speechless." Kili soon stopped and brought his hand back. Though now getting a good look at Maleficent, he could swear that he knew her from somewhere. It was at the tip of his tongue but had no idea what she reminded him of. Collecting himself, Kili still smiled though was thinking till he looked at her. "I apologize if what I say seems strange, but you remind me of someone I knew."

Maleficent watched as she saw Kili reach out to touch her wing. She didn't hesitate or draw away from him. Instead, she was patient and allowed him access. His touch was warm. There was no threat within it, but it felt delicate as if he was taming a hostile animal. This would be the first being outside of the Moors who she allowed to touch her wings, aside from Loki. The touch was gentle, as if she was fragile. Kili must be respectful, always, to other people, even those who were higher ranked than himself. Watching his facial expressions, she couldn't help but make a small and soft smile in return. Once he pulled his hand back, Maleficent folded her wings behind her back properly in place while a small blush came on her radiant face. Hearing his next question, she became curious. "Oh? Who do I remind you of?", she asked him in curiosity. His mother, maybe? A sister? A lover? Who did she remind him of?

Kili smiled a little. Though it was a sad smile. I use to love a young, she-elf. Her name was Tauriel. You look alot like her." Kili told Maleficent, his smile grew, not as sad as it was before.

Maleficent listened intently when he explained to her about a she-elf he used to love. Tauriel was her name. The fae has never heard of such elf but she knew the name itself was Sindarin. When he said that she looked a lot like her, she couldn't help but make a blush on her face with a smile. She wanted to ask if she was still around, but she didn't want to make his negative feelings ascend, so she kept the thought to herself. Looking out the window that was next to her, she noticed in the distance that men were boarding the ship with supplies. "I am thrilled for this offer of yours, but I must go. We're boarding", she said to the young dwarf before she picked her cloak and placed it back on, covering her wings in the process. Just before she was about to walk to the door, she didn't expect his next question.

Kili thought to have seen Maleficent blush when he saw her smile. She looked like she wished to ask any questions but noticed that she seemed to want to keep them to himself and didn't seem to mind. He would understand. Seeing her looked toward the window, looking out the window though not seeing what she saw. Kili though heard the fae then, how she needed to go, guess her ship vessel was leaving. Kili watched her pick up her cloak and put it over her wings. The young Dwarf was thinking then until it seemed his mind was set on something. "Might I come with you, Maleficent?" He asked. Quite determined to come with. "I mean. Its been a while since I have been out on the sea, out on an adventure."

Maleficent was just about to leave the small cottage until she heard Kili tell her that he wanted to come along. "You may. I don't mind the company", she said to him with a smile before she pulled up her hood and covered half of her face with her veil. She walked out of the cottage with Kili behind her.

With everyone scattered, Killian guided Eric through the village before they came upon a lighted hut in the distance. It was glowing bright a pearly blue collar and it as if it was pulsing like a heartbeat. "No worries, mate. Galadriel and I go way back. Thick as thieves. Nigh inseparable we are", Killian told him as they gazed at the tent-like hut in the distance.

Following Killian cautiously though not just keeping his eyes on him, but also around them. Knowing full well that Dark Elves could be around anywhere within Nidavellir. He though wondered why a hut like tent was so bright compared to the rest of the realm. Galadriel sounded like quite an elven name. Eric heard Killian talk about how Galadriel and him go way back and all this that Eric wasn't as all convinced of what he said with everything that has transpired thus far and the fact the Eric hardly knows Killian except for what he is as far as he was told and his importance. "So if you are inseparable like you say you are, why not with her all the time?" He asked with slight sarcasm. Yes. He doubted Killian.

Hearing Eric's sarcastic question, Killian walked. "Were, actually", he told him with that same cocky smile on his face. "Have been. Before", now he was struggling to find the right words. "Enough about me!", he abruptly said as they got close as he got to the entrance of the glowing tent. Lifting the tent flat cautiously, Killian walked in as the light on the inside was like a cavern, with everything having a tone of white and blue. It looked like a chamber for someone who was wise and royal. As they entered, there was a live white snake dangling on a perch that was above the door, but it moved slowly in grace. "Galadriel? My dear?", Killian called as there was a white curtain in the back of the room as a femenine figure moved in grace behind it as it approached the edge of the curtain, revealing very clearly an Elven woman with creamy pale skin, long gold- silver hair, and a silver crown resting on her head as she wore a flowing white dress. She was like another goddess, but a very enchanting one.

Listening to Killian's struggle for words, Eric couldn't help but feel a bit proud of what he did. Following Killian still, seeing him lifting the flap and walking, Eric joined him, walking inside and seeing the inside for himself. If her could see himself compared to this, he and Killian would stick out like sore thumbs in here. It was quite a sight to take in, though compared to the palace of Asgard, this looked beautiful. Though hearing a small hiss, Eric looked above him to see a dangling snake that almost blended with the room itself. Hearing Killian call the woman's name, he turned back to look further to see a feminine figure move, the curtain moving to reveal what Eric saw was an elf, clearly a light elf, but unknown as to why she was in a dwarven realm. She was quite beautiful, goddess like from how she moved and looked. His heart did not sway, forever belonging to Loki.

"I've waited for a few years to see you before me", the Elven woman spoke in a vibrant strong voice that had the tone of an actual goddess. "Galadriel, love, we look for your help. We are looking for something that is far beyond our reach, and we need your valient powers to find it", Killian spoke to the goddess-like woman while setting the picture of the key on the flourished table. Galadriel looked at the picture and slowly touched it with her pale figures. A vision began to form within her mind as she shut her eyes and witness it: a dark man with a beard, a ghost ship, and a chest. Letting go of the picture and feel the tense in her head, the elf gasped as her eyes flashed open after the vision disappeared. "The compass I lent to you. It can't lead you to this?", she asked the pirate. "Maybe. Why?", Killian asked while he was looking at the snake that was above the door, antagonizing it a little bit before it hissed, causing him to draw back on grimace. "You don't not know what you want, do you, Killian Jones? You are loathe to claim it as your own. The key goes to a chest, and it is what is inside the chest you seek?", she asked them.

Eric watched Killian and Galadriel interact with one another, Killian wanting information on what looked to be a picture of a key. One he did not believe he had seen before. He watched Galadriel simply place her pale yet long, elegant fingers over the parchment, closing her eyes and a moment or so later, snap them open as if she had some sort of vision. Though hearing about a compass that Killian was lent to, and it not being able to find it. Eric watched Killian a moment before he was focused on Galadriel once more. He had no idea what Killian sought but seemed to be important to him to ask this woman for help. So kept his mouth shut, letting Killian speak about his own issue. Speaking of Killian and this chest he seems to be after, Eric looks to Galadriel with slight curiosity. "What's in this chest?"

Galadriel laid her grey-blue eyes on the Huntsman, before strolling gracefully towards a stone structure which looked to have a bowl in the center of it that was filled with water. "You know of the god, Hades?", she asked them as she moved the water with a finger in a circular motion as the water began to glow and form an image. "Look into the mirror", she said to them, before an image of Hades appeared in the center. His face wasn't clear to see, and his body was merged in with the darkness like a shadow. His grey-black hair and cloak were only seen in the shadowy silhouette of a picture. "A man of the dead and sea, Hades was once great sailor, until he ran afoul by the one who vexed all men", the Elven woman spoke in a vibrant and strong manner of a voice.

The Huntsman watched the graceful light-elf walk toward a stone structure that when Eric walked toward it when asked about the God Hades and then told to approach, noticed water in it. Though to his curiosity looked closely to see the the image of what seemed to be the god that she spoke of though not easy to see clearly. He listened closely now that he had an idea of who this man was. He looked to Galadriel then. "Who is this 'one who vexed all men?'" Eric asked.

As soon as Eric asked this question, "A woman!", Killian sounded while he was looking through the trinkets around the cavern-like tent. "A woman. One that he loved so deeply, and one he gave his heart to. She was a woman who was unchanging, harsh, and untamable as the sea itself. Until a cruel betrayal broke him. The pain was too much for him to live with. So, he carved out his heart, locked it in a chest, and sealed it away from the cosmos. To never be found. This key you're looking for? He kept it with him all times", she finished her story before the image in the water faded, back to its colorless self. "You want to know where it is, do you?", the light elf asked as she looked upon the two men before she sat in the chair that was at her table.

Eric listened, taking in this in as Galadriel explained, not really paying attention to Killian anymore. He had to admit that it was quite a painful story to hear, tragic and sad. Though these questions that were asked after having been told this, Eric looked over to Killian. Eric wasn't looking for this heart of Hades'. He didn't much care for it. It was Killian that was asking about it therefore he can answer. Though cleared his throat clearly enough for the man with him to pay attention.
