The Doctor had a sad look in his eyes, he wished he could do more. He holds her hand "I know... wish I could do more." He stays by her.

She closed her eyes, her grip on his hand tightening. "Maybe....I should...try and force a healing....no, that won't work....bloody I hate feelin useless"

The Doctor looked at her "You'll heal," He smiled "JUst give it time and rest."

She nodded and then said "could you give me something...to help me sleep?"

The Doctor nodded "I can give you that tea i made to help you sleep last time?" He said.

She nodded another surge of pain hitting and made her flinch. "And maybe add some pain meds to that?"

The Doctor looked at her, "Ah can do, looks like you need it." He goes and makes the tea.

When he left she gasped, fighting not to cry out. No, she had never been this bad before, not like this.

The Doctor brings her the tea "Ah here." He replied. He sits down.

She had gotten her face back as she took the tea and drank it slowly. But the heat brought back the memory of being branded and she had to stop, her hands shaking worse then before

The Doctor tried to calm her down "shhh its ok." He had put something to help calm her in it as well. "Its just tea and they won;t hurt you again."

She nodded, putting the tea down and covering her face. "I don't understand....I've fought hundreds of times...why is this harder?"

the Doctor sits by her and hugged her "I am not sure, but it will be ok."

Whix popped up and said "it's because it was torment for torment sake. Causing pain for no reason. I can't think of the word...."

The Doctor was trying to calm her "You will be ok now." he assured her, He looked at Whix and nodded "Most likley."

Avery looked at him and said "this will change things....won't it"

The Doctor was hugging her "What things?" He asked.

"How I am....I mean how I was...this is going to one of those things that haunt me for the rest of my life...just like losing Helios all over again..."

"I don;t know.... I know things haunt you more when alone, I will do my best to help, but it only barely just happened so maybe not. MIght just need few days," The Doctor replied.

Avery nodded and covered her face. Then she reached for the tea and tried to drink it without letting her hadns shake
