Mystique looked at Count Dracula in astonishment. She was not sure what to say but she needed to respond back to him.

"Not the Legendary Count Dracula? One of his descendants?" she asked cautiously.

Dracula shook his head. "Not one of his descendants. I'm exactly this Count Dracula whom Bram Stoker based his famous novel upon." The fact that she did not recognize him surprised him a bit; being the head of state of Romania, he had been on the news a lot over the past ten years. But he did not mind it a lot; in fact, with all the paparazzi surrounding him, it felt good that there was a person who did not recognize him.

"Bram Stoker is famous for the novel but I am sorry to say that I have yet to read the book. I would have thought that I would have heard that you were alive and well...... You must be some sort of a head of state here..... I am so sorry... so very sorry, sir. You may just drop me off at my hotel and I'll be out of your way." Mystique whispered as she open her purse to get her room key.
"I just can't really believe that I meet THE Count Dracula. I must be dreaming or still knocked out from twisting my ankle when my heel on my shoe broke..... Speaking of my ankle, it no longer hurts so I must be not in my right mind...."

@Aisling "It's good that you haven't read it yet," Dracula said. "There's not much truth in it... and I won't just let you go. It's some kind of unwritten law of our modern times - where vampires can get their blood from bloodbags and don't have to bite people every night, you know - that if you've changed someone, you're responsible for him learning how to be a vampire."

@Aisling "You don't have to, but it's better," Dracula said. "Those without a teacher mostly don't make it through the first few years... and you won't have to pay for anything. You can stay at the castle, like my other students did.- When I became a vampire, I had to make everyone believe I was dead, but today, vampires aren't feared any more, although many people know that we exist. I came out as one on TV a few years ago, and it caused almost nothing but positive reactions."

"You mean that I will be staying in a real castle and everything? I kinda remember everyone talking about someone claiming to be a vampire but I told my friends that it probably not true. And you are a real vampire who actually saved my life by giving me some of your blood. It is hard to believe. How many students have you had, sir?" Mystique spoke.
By now she had a smile on her face yet she was not completely relaxed.

"I had..." Dracula thought for a while. "I don't know how many they were. I never counted them, but I have had lots of students. I've been a vampire for 539 years by now - almost down to the date -, and there were tons of people whom I've changed... and many of them became my students."

Mystique hurried inside, gathered all of her belongings and turned in the key before she came out to get in the car.
"I doubled checked to make sure that I gathered all of my belongings. I am ready to go see your castle and settle into a room, Count Dracula."

Mystique smiled at Count Dracula and his son. He must not be of a bad person like the movies portray him. She thought to herself. She quietly took her belongings out of the car and waited for Count Dracula to take her inside to meet his wife.
