"I am sure...what is that sound" she asked when she noticed the sounds of the cars going through her inhuman pointed ears which would have remind anyone of an elf from a fairy tail her wings fluttering feeling the wind the cars rubbing against them.

She nodded and walked in looking around. She frowned seeing a lot of things. She walked up to the stove and touched one of the burners. "What is this...."she asked touching all the burners before looking down into the oven. "This is really strange....." she trailed off as she continued to look into the oven window into the pitch black oven.

"oh that, that's the cooker. it produces heat so that we can cook food" Marcus tidied up as he went along, "it's a bit of a mess around here so you should be a little careful". pans where left on the side with leftovers still in them, some with burnt food stuck to the sides of them, some of his shirts were scattered around the living room. The washing machine was purring as it washed the clothes, "erm this is a modern house i guess, the fridge of their keeps things cool, drinks and food stuff like that" he opened the fridge to show the interior and pulled out a coke can and opened it, taking a long sip, then retrieved a bottle of water from the side of the fridge and offered it to Luna, "here take this, it's water"

She nodded and sniffed the water before pulling the end into her mouth allowing some of the cold water to go down her throat before putting in down. "Hmm that is better water back where I lived we hardly had any fresh clean water" she said her face cringing in disgust as she thought about it before her face smooth out again and looked around. "My magic can probably clean this up, all I have to do is snap my fingers" she said to him.

Marcus stared around as he began to pick up his t shirts and place them on the back of the sofa, most of it was clean washing, just thrown around whiles looking for his work and cameras. "so what are we going to do with you? you say you are from the past meaning you have no family, and you have no idea about the modern world.... i'm guessing you want to stay with me whiles you get used to this place or find a way back to where you are from?"

"Plus this time, this world you call the modern world...it sounds very interesting and I wish to know more about it" she said playing with her soft feather-liked hair a glow from the blue marks on her back glowing slightly.

He stared at her for a while, lost in though, "i see well then, since it's a single bedroom i shall go clean my room and then get the spare blanket and pillow" he disappeared for a few minutes, ok then, ok then....ok... this is going to be weird.. awkard even he started to think to himself again, then after removing all the mess from his room and neating his clothes he grabbed a duvet cover and another pillow from the airing cupboard and came back downstairs, "you can sleep in my bed whiles you stay here, i'll sleep on the sofa" now chucking the pillow and cover in the corner of the room "it's nearly six already.... should get started on dinner, you have a favourite food or anything?"

"Um...well I back where I lived we only had what we could get, we had berries and meats from animals" she said thinking about it and shook her head off playing with her robe tightening it up before it opened on her. "What do you guys eat now and days" she asked.

"erm we eat a variety of foods, all over the world.... i have some meat that i can cook, though i have nothing to cook with it and improvisation isn't really a thing i am good at" he rubbed his head as he started to think, "maybe i should venture to the shops and buy us something, unless you can cook something from whatever i have left in the freezer and the cupboards?" he sighed trying to find more ingredients for the food

She nodded and put them on after several minutes of trying to figure how to put them on. She blinked feeling the unfamiliar cloth against her skin. "Hmm this fabric feels funny, is it always like this" she asked playing with the large sleeves a bit.

She nodded and walked out with him. She looked around with amazement in her eyes at everything that was in her gaze. "Wow, this is amazing and humans did all this within centuries" she said with complete awe and fascination, almost looking like a kid in a candy store. She looked over at Marcus "What is this town called" she asked him curiously as everyone in hearing distance gave her weird looks.

Colchester, just a small town with a few stores and stuff, nothing too big" Marcus looked around the town until he saw the store he was aiming to go to, "i'm pretty sure you will get used to the modern world, it won't take too long hopefully and if you have any questions i will gladly answer them" he pressed the button by the crossing, waiting until the green man appeared, "let's cross"
