Eric was halfway up to his feet until he heard the female voice of the same woman who committed herself to hurt him. Although, he did notice that she didn't want to, but he all he thought too well, was her duty to do what the captain ordered. "I don't need your help!", he raised his voice at her in anger while he managed to get to his feet and get away from her. Since the pain was too much, he couldn't stand up fully, only to stumble to a barrel nearby, hopefully to just the pain wear off on its own.

Silena pulled her hands away abut halfway from him when Eric snapped at her, telling her to go away. She felt absolutely guilty for it and wish she hadn't. But though she knew if someone else had done it, he would be more worse off than he is now. "I'm sorry about it. I did not want to do it. But I could let anyone else do it. I feel nothing but guilt for the action I have committed." She told him, giving him some distance, showing her guilt to him.

Eric heard her talk to him, but he did honestly listen closely to the tone of her voice. He turned his head to face her as she walked next to him. "So, I have to understand that what you did, was an act of compassion?!", he shouted over the rain pounding down on them. The thunder blared right after he stopped talking as he stared at her. "Hades said...that you are an Odinson. Who are you?", he asked her, still wondering who this woman was.

Silena watched Eric as he turned to face her the best he could, hearing him shout with the rain, roaring sea and thunder. She did not answer his first question but would not forget it, for now would answer his second. "I am the Daughter of Thor Odinson, Silena Odinson." She told him, no hestience in her voice at all.

Eric was now the next one to be dumbfounded at the woman's next response. He stayed quiet for a couple of seconds before he broke down to one knee when he felt the same piercing pain in his back. It hurt so much, it felt as if he was being stabbed in the middle of the back all over again. He hissed in pain while he closed his eyes when another one hit him. His arm kept his grip on the barrel that he was leaning against.

Silena noticed his dumbfound expression though the pain not soon after for Eric, he was in pain and Silena went over to grab some needle and thread as well as some alcohol of which she didn't drink compared to most of the crew. She didn't like its tastes. Going to Eric, she helps him into the interior of the ship as best as she could without trying to make his back any worse, setting him on a crusted chair. He handed him a bottle of rum and getting one more bottle for the wound. "As for your first question, what I did was out of compassion. A whip can cut through flesh to bone. What I did was only cut skin compared to what the crew would have done to you." Silena explained to him while sewing his wounds.

Eric had his expression in a painful way while Silena maneuvered him into the interior part of the ship. Watching her prepare what seems to be an old needle and some thread. That was what he realized what she was doing: she was going to fix the injuries that streaked down his back. He could already feel the blood trailing down it. Since he couldn't see it, he could already visualize the sight of his back without turning around. The pain could get worse if he ever turned his body. Being set in a chair that looks to be crusted in algae and barnacles, Eric listened to Silena talk about her guilt. He couldn't believe who he came across now. This was his lover's goddaughter, and what appears to also be his niece. Holding the bottle of rum in his hand, he was in too much pain to drink. Instead, he set the bottle in his hands, and somewhat nursed it. He now understood why he decided to hurt him instead of the crew. he could have suffered far worse if she didn't step in, in order to make less. He couldn't help, but feel proud of her. To what Loki described to him about Silena, 'she was a special girl', he has said on the night they tied their love. Eric made a wince and a grimace when he felt the needle pass through his skin over and over again. "How did you end up here?", he finally asked her in a curious tone. So far, this was the first thing he said that was kindly said to her.

Silena hadn't been focusing on Eric all to much in general besides any movement that would hinder her from sewing his back. To her it was like sewing together clothes to embroidery, a skill she learned long ago. Only the difference was the material of which was skin and it was of someone living. With her silence after her telling Eric of her guilt but why she did this after have rationalized the situation, the long silence that was broke by Eric who had asked her about how she got here. This stopped her for a moment, having heard his kinder voice compared to his angry one. She though continued almost like she never stopped at all, willing to tell her, now uncle why she was here. "I died while having given birth. Hades came to me, unknowning as to what he wanted beside me to join his crew. With my body having being sailed as part of the funeral of Asgard, I was scared. I didn't want to leave my husband, Diaval, nor Loki alone. I thought if I could work for Hades for only the set time with made a deal, I would be able to go home. But I figured out that he lied to me." The young woman told him, having finished her stitch work to the best that she could.

"While I served under him, I realized how mad, insane I had become. But only my hope to see my family again kept me from going truly insane. But I can't do anything against him. I am to serve him for one hundred years." Silena went over to grab a worn shirt, handing it to him to replace the one he had. "And once you swear an oath to the Dutchman, there is no leaving it." Silena clearly upset about her mistake, what she did just so she could see the once that she loved again. Only now she may not see them again. But she had felt some relief, now knowing she had an uncle though looked like her father, he was family. Though she was still upset none the less.

Feeling the prick of the needle stop, Eric could already feel the ache still in his back when Silena finally stopped the primping. Hearing her speak, Eric couldn't help, but feel guilt..and fear...come from the mouth of his niece. "It's not your fault", he spoke to her, a little bit of anger rising in his voice. It just wasn't fair. Silena is a princess, not a slave. All of the royal bloodlines are sent into the stars, not to Helheim itself. It just wasn't appropriate or respectful. Grunting in pain once again, the Huntsman made his move to stand up from the chair. A few tries, and he was finally on his feet, although he still grimaced from the injury. Being handed over a fresh shirt, Eric took it and put it on himself. It won't help with his back, but it should help deal with the exposure of the pain's source. "I've swore no oath", Eric replied before he hesitantly placed a hand on her shoulder. It was a shame since a beautiful young woman like Silena, would not be an attire that was more suited for her title. Not to mention an apparel that was so dark. There was a black catsuit-like outfit concealing her body with a huge coral reef growing upon her shoulders while also resembling the outfit's collar. All of this suited for her position as a slave to the Lord of the Dead and Sea. "I need your help, though", he spoke as he took out the drawing of the key from the back of his pants, stretching it out for her to see it. "I'm looking for this. This key", she looked at her and watched her expressions on her half-flawless face, since the other was barely concealed by the barnacles.

Silena felt a hand on her shoulder, lifting her head to see Eric and hearing how he swore no oath to him. This she felt nothing but relief for. She may have been different by appearance and what she has done. Hearing though that Eric needed her help. She felt something in her that was different, something she felt familiar. But she listened, watched him pull something out of the back of his pants. She looked at the unfolded parchment before looking at the drawing of what seemed to be a key. Her eyes widened with surprise. "...Dead man's Chest..." She whispered aloud.

Eric just wanted to take Silena with him and perhaps show Loki that she is alive, but according to Silena, the princess can't leave her time of duty on this vessel. She did say that once you swear, you stay, until Hades passes on, or until her one hundred years of servitude are over. He had a gut feeling that she could get hurt or punished if she helps him, but Eric wanted to leave. To show Loki that he was alive. He did hear his niece say something about a chest. "What do you know of this?", he asked on, just to get some answers.

Silena composed herself a little when asked about the chest that she spoke of. She felt the need to help, that it was the right thing to do. With that she wanted to atone for all thats happened. "The key goes to the chest that has Hades' heart, you just stab the heart." She though closed her eyes and shook her head quickly though. "No. It must not be done. The Dutchmen needs a living heart or there is no captain. If there is no Captain, there is no one to have the ship itself."

He could see that she was struggling with words a little bit, but he did see she wanted repose the idea. Now, he didn't know why, but he knew that something was wrong. "So, the captain has the key", he guessed his thought aloud. "Do you know where they are? The chest and the key?", Eric continued to ask. He didn't want to pressure her, but he needed to know where the key was.

Silena didn't know much. She only knew little though she knew that Eric needed her help. Wrapping her arms around herself, she didn't know if her information would help, or be right. "They are hidden." She told him, soon looking away from him, unknown to what he may think of this.

On the Black Pearl alone on the deck, or so he thought, Kili sitting on a barrel as he was fumbling with a forest green, smoothed oval like stone that was etched in Dwarven runes. He tosses the stone into the air and catching it, over and over. A gentle breeze blew, a cool sensation on he could feel on his face and through his hair. Unknown to him, someone was approaching.

As the gebtle wind blew through the air, a shadow formed on the floor of the deck as a shape of a figure was blocking the moonlight. The figure was feminine and there were horns on the head that made the shadow very prominent. Gliding herself on the deck with her wings tucked close on her back, Maleficent felt the wind blow through her hair as she was in her off-shoulder black dress. She fiddled with her fingers a little bit as she walked. Stopping where she was, she noticed the dwarf, Kili, by himself in the distance. Putting on a concerned face, she walked behind him silently, only to see that he was fiddling with something. Bending over and looking over his shoulder, it looked to be a stone. "The stone in your hand, what is it?", she asked curiously in her strong yet soft voice. Her long auburn brown hair blowing gently in the wind.

Kili had caught his stone when he heard a female voice as to what the stone was in his hand. He was startled, his shoulders hunched up looking to see who it was on this foggy night. He had not expected someone to be on the deck at this time like he was.

Maleficent put a hand on his shoulder when she saw him jump. Reassuring him, she gave him one of her reassuring smiles. It was a kind smile, not too big, not too small. "Sorry about that", she said with a kind chuckle. "That stone? What is it?", she repeated her question after her hand was removed from his shoulder.

After seeing that it was Maleficent that had come up behind him, Kili felt himself relax. Having given a smile in return, the Dwarf had heard her ask about the stone. Looking at it, Kili fiddled with it within his fingers. "Its a talisman," having though stopped messing with it "with a powerful spell that was placed upon it." Having grown serious. "If anyone else but a dwarf looks upon it, they will forever he cursed." Having then held out the stone.

He waited to see her walk away of which Kili shrugs, unknown if she looked back at him or not. "If you believe it or not." At this he chuckles half-heartedly having gone back to fiddling with it once withdrawn to him again. "It's only a Talisman. Runestone really." He told her as he gazed gazed at the runes that were skillfully etched on the beautiful stone itself.

Hearing him say that the stone was a talisman, Maleficent took a small step forward while showing a face that says that she wanted more clarification. But what he said next wasn't what she expected to hear. With him holding up the stone, Maleficent flinched and took a step back, while a small glint of fear appeared in her yellow-green eyes. For the stone to actually be cursed, Maleficent didn't like dark spells, nor has she had the interest of actually learning them. She certainly did not even show Loki how to make dark spells, but after the curse he accidentally unleashed, the fae knew that a spell that's so terrible could only make an appearance if either of them suffer powerful emotions. Anger was most definitely one of them. Maleficent looked away from Kili, to the ground, before she was about to walk away. But hearing him suddenly joke, made her stop before she could make two steps from her current spot. Looking at him as she stopped, she turned her body to face him fully. She made a quick glance at the stone before she noticed the runes etched upon it. "Return to me", she read aloud. She could read every race's language, be either Dwarven or Elvish. "Return to who?", she asked him curiously.

Kili looked upon the stone still before having explained about the stone further, though having heard her read the rune and asked about it. "I keep it as a reminder to the promise that I kept to my mother. A promise to come back home to her once a quest was complete. She worries about my being reckless." Kili tell the fairy, looking up at her for when he finished his explanation.
