Maleficent listened to him as he explained to her the promise that he seemed to kept to his mother. She wondered what his mother was like. Must be a sweet, kind dwarvish woman. From the fancy tea, to a promise on a stone. She sounded wise. But after Kili told the fae earlier about her death, that struck Maleficent hard. It reminded her of Loki's grief years ago. After she was killed. Living on without a mother. Once he said that his mother worries, Maleficent tipped her head down to face the ground, and gave a small chuckle. "Are you?", she asked before glancing her eyes in his direction, clearly kind of teasing him.

Kili had been remembering his time with his mother, his older brother. How things use to be. The smiles, laughter, the happiness that came. He missed that. Missed all the happy memories. Though felt that this stone not only a promise but those happy memories. Snapped out of his thought, hearing Maleficent in what seemed to be a teasing tone, asking if he was reckless. Kilo smiled, shaking his head quickly. "No." With that answered, Kili tossed the stone in the air. Prepared to catch it as always, only he failed to slipping from his fingers and dropped it. Kili was prepared to go get it quickly before something unexpected happened.

As Maleficent watched Kili throw the stone in the air for the umpteenth time now, she heard him deny at the question she gave him. She was just about to chuckle, but couldn't as the stone was loosened from his grip. Just before it fell to the floor, the fairy raised her hand to freeze its fall. It was surrounded by her golden aura as it levitated from the ground. Her own raised hand had the swirls of her golden aura surrounding it. Letting the stone fall into her hand, she picked it up to eye level in the moonlight so she could see it clearer.

Kili froze when he looked to see that a gold aura had surrounded it, watched it levitate to Malficent's hand that too glowed of the same aura. Kili was in awe of what he saw. Seeing her examine it, the young dwarf a thought while the fae examined the stone. "What is your home like?" Asking curiously, wondering where she was from.

Maleficent was being reminded of one of the stones from the Pond of Jewels as she gazed at the so-called runestone in the moonlight. The silence was broken when she heard of him speak about her home. Or about his curiosity on it. "My home", she began with a memorable sigh as she thought about the beauty within the forest. "It's ancient. Full of light, rarity, and happiness", she spoke in a wise foretelling voice as she looked at him with a thin smile upon her lips. "Everything within the forest itself, is sacred to the Fae, but we love best the glory and light of all things within the balance of nature itself", she began to tell him about her home. Her beautiful home. Both her and Loki's. "We protect it from even the ruthless of invaders, from a tall Asgardian, to even the smallest of dwarves", the fairy explained before slowing turning her gaze towards the moon above them in the horizon, her enchanted features practically glowing white as snow within the ray of its light.

The Dwarf listened to such detail that Maleficent told about her home, what it was like, the feel of what it would be like. It sounded quite the place that was indeed something protected by this fae. "I thought it was only legend." Kili said, though wondered what it would look like through his own eyes. But with how protective would be to such a place, Kili would let it come from his imagination. It sounded not just beautiful, but also precious to Maleficent. Especially with the fact that she had a son that lived in such a world.

Maleficent was looking at the moonlight as she thought about the beauty of her home, until she heard Kili's comment. Turning around to face him, she pulled a slight dumbfounded face. "It is memory, precious and pure", she told him in her soft, gentle voice. She looked back down at the stone that laid in her hand. "Like your promise", she finished as she held out her hand for him to take it back. She held it as if it was the most fragile object in creation.

Kili had looked up at the moon that gave them such lighting though somewhat brightened though blurred due to the slight fog. Hearing her words, the Dwarf looked over to Maleficent when she told him how precious her home was compared to his promise, seeing her hand back the stone. Kili took it gently from her hand, having examined it.

Maleficent let him take the stone back while she held it out to him. Looking up once at the moon, she looked back at him with a smile on her lips. "I fly over it sometimes", she said in a soft yet wise voice. "Over the forest and up into the night", the fairy looked at the horizon, where the fog began to clear over the water. "I have seen many things in the world beyond my own. You can feel the beauty of it, the nature of it. The wind blowing through the feathers of my wings. The sun shining on my face. It was mystical", she told him with her beauty beginning to became clear in the moonlight of her skin. She kept her gaze on the horizen...

Listening to her talk about how she would fly over the forest that was her home. Where she would soar and what she would see. Though hearing this brought back something. A memory. Something that now seemed to click from something that happened years ago. "I remember..." He started though drifted a moment before it was made clear. "There was one night many years ago where I saw you fly over my home. Flying within the moonlight. You were graceful to see. I almost mistaken you for a bird at first up till I noticed that you weren't of course." Kili though continued to tell her about that night.

Unknown to the two, a figure within the shadows made by the moonlight. Moving up into its light was Loki. He had changed his attire from before they boards and after many of the crew had retired for the night, only having made some of the gold disappear. Mainly the platted strap and the shoulder piece. The Jotun listened though. Watched as Kili and his mother talked. It made him smile, to see his mother as happy as she was. But out of that happiness, Loki felt saddened, Looking at the compass that was around his neck as it pointed in a specific direction. With a sigh, her closed it and walked across the ship in sorrow, his thoughts on his lover and how he was doing. What this Hades might be doing to him. Having walked to the railing at the edge of the ship, Loki rested his hands on the wooden railing, leaning against it. Though looking around, noticed a figure at the end of the ship. He noticed by what he could see, that it was the Elven Prince, Legolas who cloaked himself with a hood draped over his head. Deciding to approach the elf, Loki walked to where he was beside him. He honestly did not know how to greet an elf, including one of his status. But once beside the male, Loki had turned himself to face him before respectfully bowing his head, a hand over his heart. "Good evening, Legolas." It was the only formal way he knew from being within Asgard and having been around Eric and many of those of nobility and all.

Maleficent heard him say something about seeing her fly once. She indeed turn to face him before she sat down next to him slowly while keeping her eyes on him, listening to him. She realized that they were being watched, but she didn't bother. She knew who it was and why.

Staring out into the horizen were Legolas' icy-blue eyes as he looked to be very fixated on one spot. He did hear someone approach his side, but he kept his in front of him. He looked to be focused on his Elven eyesight as he tried to see at a far distance, possibly to monitor any dark matter stirring about. Hearing Loki greet him, the Elven prince broke his concentration to gaze at him. He respectfully exchanged the greeting with a nod of his head and a blink of his eyes. "And to you, dear friend", he responded in his calm foreboding voice. He turned his eyes back to their previous position like before. Slightly narrowing his eyes, he finally spoke. "Something stirs in the east. A sleepless malice. It's so faded, I can't tell what", he said in his usual calm voice.

Loki saw the Elf return the gesture only for them both to look out, the Jotun having looked out where Legolas was gazing out, wondering at what he was watching. His curiosity was answered by Legolas when he told him what he was seeing. It seemed, at least from Loki's guessing that elves had quite the vision to see so far. How far was something he wondered. Though he could feeling something that unsettled him quite a bit besides the danger that Eric was in. This unsettled feeling was possibly Hades' ship having heard just how terrible it was. This too was a guess. "Can you see him?" Loki asked, his voice that of worry though being as calm as he would amongst these people. Curious and looking for another sense of hope. For some reason he felt that Legolas could help him in this small way.

The elf kept his gaze his gaze in front of him, even when Loki asked him. Legolas didn't flinch from his position, although his eyes did narrow a bit in concentration. He looked at a particular spot in the distance, trying to figure what it was that he saw. Trying to look closer, a wave was being pulsed back at him. Feeling the wave hit him mentally, the elf's head snapped back gently with a painful gasp. His eyes shut when this strange wave hit him. Almost falling over and lose consciousness, he instead landed on one knee. One of his hands were trying to hold his head up, but the pressure was too much within his mind. He grunted as he kept his eyes closed in order for the wave to wash over him.

Loki could tell that there was a sense of concentration within Legolas. He had no idea what the Elven Prince could see him but wondered what those eyes were seeing. Though the sound of a painful gasp was what made the Jotun turn his head to see him shut his eyes, pain on his facial features, falling to one knee and a hand hold his head as if he was either gaining a headache, stabilizing it some reason or rather both. Loki kneels next to him, worried for the elf that was in pain somehow. "Legolas? What is wrong?" He asked, placing a hand on the male's shoulder. "What happen?"

Legolas managed to hold up his balance as his mind tries to stabilize itself. Feeling the hand being placed on his shoulder, the Elf took a few breaths. "Something...is blocking my Elven eyes. It's far beyond my handling to see clearly", he breathed to the Jotun while he manages to stand. He looked at the same direction again, but with less intensity. Something must be strong enough to block the greatest of eyes, including Legolas and other Elves. It just didn't feel right at that moment. Something was dreadfully trying to block anyone from seeing it...

Loki could hear the dread in the elven Prince's words, something he should feel scared of. How could ones power harm an elf's sight like it had been done just now. Looking over to the direction of where Legolas had looked, wondered if this Hades was more powerful than he had ever realized before.

Aboard the Flying Dutchman, the crew were gather around the deck in a circle surrounding a few other crew member who were sitting around barrel playing a game called Liar's Dice. Silena watched with Eric as they watched those crew members playing and the many other's cheering. The pale blonde looked from the game to her uncle, Eric and then to the game again. "You know how this game is played?" She asked curiously.

Eric has been watching the crew play Liar's Dice for a while, and he now figured that the game itself was a punishing one. Hearing Silena next to him, he didn't look at her. He kept his gaze on the game. "I understand it. It's a game of deception. Your bet counts for all of the dice, not just your own", he explained from his observations. "What are they wagering?", he asked her without looking away.

Silena nodded slowly as he had based theory of the game based on what he had seen and heard. Though being asked about what they are wagering, she could only shrug. "Well we can't use any sort of currency so we use years of servitude." She answered while watching the game.

Eric kept his watch on the game in front of him. She nodded at her answer of using years of servitude instead of currency. It made sense to him, but he didn't think that years of servitude were necessary. But it was the only thing that this crew could wager for now. "So, can anybody be challenged?", he asked his niece curiously.

Having looked away from the game to Eric who questioned her who was allowed to be challenged, looked at his skeptically. "Yes. Anyone can be challenged."
