Ladies and gentlemen, I am sorry but I have to officialy anounce my retirement from this RP. I find myself in a position where I can no longer participate in this one and IF I would be to force myself then my posts here would take a hit in quality. I apologise for any inconvenince I may cause and am sorry to leave so early in this RP's lifespan.

Back with more updates:

@februari just posted the joint-post we created over the past few days. In the meantime, I believe I've found a someone to fill in our new vacancy. I'll update everyone when I get confirmation about this but we'll get the role filled soon, and I'll write out the character switch in a post soon.

As for what's currently going on, I'd once again recommend we go ahead and have some continued conversations but I'm hoping to wean the Night to an end soon. Post frequency has really dimmed down so I'd like to keep things moving. Anyone have any desires for the next day? I've got my own ideas but I'd like to hear what everyone else would like, too.

@HangYourSecrets I'm writing a joint post with @MissCapnCrunch right now, could you give us some time to finish it?

Sure thing! Since Emma's gone to sleep, now might be a good time for Gabanre and Richard to converse? Just suggesting. Otherwise we'll hold off on the night transition until the joint post. It rather works out for me as it'll be some time before I fill the vacancy, which I'm hoping to do just before Day Two.

Speaking of joint-posts, would anyone want to do one with Richard? I don't just want him to be in the background for too long, haha.

Hello everyone. It's been a while.

It's been over a week since we've had any activity, and while I totally understand if life has been keeping you busy or your characters have little to do, I'd like to take this opportunity to ask all of you what you'd like to do, as I continue to search (now publicly, as you can see) for a replacement character.

I have the fullest of intentions to continue on making Open Waters a thing. I've always wanted it to be a creation not just of mine, but of a collective of people, active and wanting to push the story in directions they would like to see. A storyline created out of the moment, rather than dictated by me or my rules. I still want this, but I'm going to need some help.

If you're still interesting in sticking with us? What would you like to do?

I feel as if it's best if we move on to Day Two, and (if nobody protests this within a day) I'll be ending my current conversation with Rathe and sending my own character to bed. After this post I'll immediately move us to Day Two, and I have a few ideas to throw some conflict into the situation as well.

Please, if you have any suggestions or ideas, do not hesitate to contact me. I'm here to make sure that if you want to stay, you get something out of it, not just me. We're all on the site for different reasons, but I'm assuming we all would want to have fun with it!

I really would hate to do this, but I haven't seen or heard from some of you in nearly two weeks, and if this trend continues for longer than a few days, I'm going to have to assume you're no longer interested in playing the game, and find a way to bring in new members. Although we can always find a way to bring you back into the fold, if you're interested in doing so at a later date.
