@Aisling "The way an astronomer works depends on what he's working on. I, for example, was on search for a star in our solar system. First, I screened pictures of the whole sky for moving objects, which took me 10 years. When I found what I was looking for a few months ago, I tried to find it on older pictures to calculate its orbit, which I did." Ioan smiled. "Now, I'm observing it and try to find out everything about it that I can."

"What about I file everything under the name of the star or comet or what ever it is. Those that did not have any kind of a notation I will place in a box to preserve the pictures. Then I'll file the papers by what ever name in at the top. Is this ok with you?"
