@Aisling "A lot," Ioan simply answered. This was not the right time to explain magic.
Although still being in pain, the wizard stood up and made a table hit Ioan's head, trying to kill him.
But Ioan did not give in. "Sacrum iugulis demitte vitae ab eum!" He began to levitate in mid-air, his eyes glowing white and his arms stretched from his body.
"Toma.... loan has superior hearing. I didn't think that he could hear me whisper. Can you do magic, Toma?" spoke the astonished Mystique as she watched the old wizard and loan battle.
@Aisling "It's not about the place..." Ioan repeated. "Actually, attacks are rare here, with so many witches and wizards around. It's about me. I've got the gene, and that makes people want to get rid of me. Such attacks can happen anywhere, any time."
@Aisling "I don't want to show off, but the gene makes me one of the most powerful wizards alive," Ioan answered. "That's why I'm allowed to call myself a sorcerer: Sorcerers and sorceresses are stronger than wizards and witches. I can use spells that others can't use: Spells that affect more than 100 people at once, direct killing spells and drain of energy. If you are my friend, you can see me as a powerful weapon when it comes to fights. If you are my enemy, you can see me as your biggest obstacle."
"I hope that i am your friend and stay your friend. I think thought you were more than a normal wizard. I'll be happy enough to be a Magick User. " Mystique spoke in awe and wonder. "How strong of a gene must a person have to pass the gene on if the other parent doesn't have the gene?"
@Aisling Ioan smiled. "You'd have to try to kill me in order not to be my friend. - Besides, what do we do with him?" Ioan looked at the guy on the ground.
"I guess you should take what is on him since you are the champion.... you know the wand, grimoire, and stuff like that.... coins, the medallion, necklaces. The body I am not sure what to do with. Perhaps cremate it?" Mystique thought out loud slowly.
@Aisling "Nah, we don't have to get rid of it," Ioan said. "It was not a murder but self-defense. People will probably think it was SADS that killed him. Sudden adult death syndrome."
