On other news, we've nearly finished designing Gypsum (all we have left to settle on is the clothing) so that'll be coming up soon, and I'm contacting Nous right now and will shortly receive a response as to whether he still wants in or not. I still feel so bad for dropping out like that aaaaaaaaaahg why did I forget to tell him about my absence why little loon you bird brain

I might begin drawing Lodolite after as well. They (he?) is honestly very cute and relatively easy to draw. Or maybe just Microcline since they're so simplistic and cute.

And also yay, that obviously isn't news to me but I'm super excited for all things Gypsum related! I'm sure everyone will welcome Nous back if he wants to give this a try, and it's not really like we're in much of a place to say no to new people.

I've just talked to Nous. This is (part) of their response.
"As much as I want to join I sadly lack the energy/commitment to make another OC and show up constantly, but give them my best regards from that one guy who showed up for like 30 seconds."
If Nous ever does change their mind we can keep Eisenkiesel as a choice I suppose, but otherwise we shouldn't really worry about it I guess. Nous also hasn't been doing too well so that's part of it.

@Loony Ah. Well if that's their situation I guess it can't be helped. It's too bad but the last thing anyone wants is for Nous to try to commit when they have too much else going on so yeah.

Haha I know but I feel like you deserve someone to talk to since I know you can't always be on that often.

I just read this blurb somewhere and I laughed.

"Macaws: These birds have longer tails and are colorful. They can have incredibly long lifespans if you take good care of them. They are vocal and at times not ideal for apartments. They need plenty of cage space and lots of toys."

At times not ideal for apartments? Hello? Do you know how loud these guys can get and how much space they require?

Especially the loud part. Oh god. I've dealt with Scarlets and Blue Golds and when they get loud OH GOD.
And the same site didn't mention the voices of cockatoos...I mean I'd hesitate to get a conure in an appartment, nevermind a freakin' Mawcaw. And not to mention most outlive their owners. If I ever own one I'm adopting an elderly one.
