Jynmi hadn't heard about ThreeEye being absorbent anyway but orally but there was always a first time for everything. He shrugged and went back to what he was doing. "Okay. So, I haven't exactly done this before. I mean, I've worked it out in theory, but when your dealing with magic, or anything really, that's no guarantee, you know?" He finished drawing the circle and placed his finger in the center and concentrated. The tiniest fraction of his well traveled from his mind down into his arm and out into the wall. "Come on. Let's stand a little bit further back just encase my calculations are off." He stepped back, and then further back, and then a little bit further so he could hide behind a wall. "Okay here it goes." There was a loud sucking sound and then dust from the implosion blanketed the room.

Maggie sighed, brushing her shoulder off from dust. "Well...it did something. Shall we see what is inside now?" She walked over and touched wall, pushing gently and let the wall slid open. She pulled her blade free, not dumb enough not to be careful.

The wizard coughed and waved away some of the thick dust. "Sounds like a plan" Jynmi said taking point. He took out his staff and held it at he ready, and held a rag over his mouth with the other. "Keep close, okay? Who knows what we'll find in there." He stepped in to the pitch darkness that used to be a lab. A bright white glow formed on the tip of his staff and lit up the room.

"This doesn't make any sense." He muttered as his eyes jumped from one corner to the other. The room was empty. It looked like it had been empty for awhile. There wasn't any sign that anyone had been around recently. "But the footsteps. They led down here." He chewed on his lip and looked around. "So where'd they lead? Could there have been another lab we didn't know about?" He scratched his nose, considering how bad it could be if he used his wizard sense.

"I mean. It is empty right, or am I missing something here?"

Maggie walked around, her eyes narrowed. "It seems to be...but magic most of the time tries to hide things from our senses..." She held out her hand and muttered softly. A silver form appeared and started to move around, Maggie's eyes glowing. "My spell will make sure we are not missing anything...one thing is that this could be a bridge point...they have been coming up a lot lately..."

Jynmi tapped his chin with his thumb. "Hmmm. You might have something there." He raised his hand and muttered something under his breath. He brought his hand down in a diagonal slash that left a line in the air. "So there's a weak point here that leads into the neverwhere." Something hissed a hold of light opened up in the air. "But what's on the other side?" He moved closer to look but didn't get his head all the way in before a clawed hand shot out and tried to take off his head. Instead it only got him in the cheek before he was able to throw himself backwards.

"Okay. So there's definitely something the white council missed."

Maggie moved to catch him, waving her hand. The silver mist moved over and in front of the opening, keeping the demon at bay. She frowned and said "Now I see why we are here...this opening can only mean bad news..." She looked at his cheek and said "Hold still a moment" She rested her finger on the cut and moved a long the cut, the skin repairing itself as she moved her finger. She moved back and smiled and said "There, that's better. Now...how do you want to move from here? This can't be the only thing down here..."

"Yeah. hold on." Jynmi said, rubbing his cheek. "Let me just try and get this opening closed because you don't want to risk letting whatever's back there out. Nothing good would come from letting those kind of things out." He held up his staff and muttered something. The end of the rob glowed. He slowly moved his hands together and the doorway sealed when his palms met at the middle. "Okay there. That's enough of that."

He turned to Maggie and nodded. "Thanks for the save." Jynmi put his wizard staff back into its sling and rubbed his chin. "Okay. So what do we know so far? One, this man is somehow connected with the ThreeEye drug. Two, there was more to three eye than what the white council told me about, unless they didn't know this much about it and I can't see that being the case. Which means."

He blinked and looked at Maggie. "What does this mean?"

Maggie frowned and said "It seems to mean that the council doesn't care what happens to you...and that something much bigger is going on then just a nasty drug being out on the street...how this all links together I do not know...but it seems to be something about bring something not very nice into our world...and neither of us can let that happen, do you agree?" She looked at him, her eyebrow raised.

Jynmi blinked. He narrowed his eyes at the woman for a moment but only sighed and let his shoulders sag. "Yeah, your probably right. Wouldn't be the first time they threw me to the wolves, and laughed, and pointed and made up a catchy little diddy about me getting eaten." He shook his head. "Anyways, your right. Whatever wants in, well we can't let it, and trust me its not anyone on this side that's running things. Always blame the other side, I say, but not in a kin-selective sort of way, of course."

He looked up and narrowed his eyes. "Come on. Let's check to see if there's more of these weird holes elsewhere in this place."

She nodded and said "I better let Luna know we are alright..." She blew into her hand and a silver fog appeared then floating away. She nodded and turned back to Jynmi. "You want this floor and I'll take the floors above?" She rested her hand on her saber, trying to sense from where they were if anyone or anything was there.

Jynmi watched the strange little cloud dance away and turned his attention back to the woman. "Yeah, that sounds like a plan. I've got some things I want to taste down here before heading up." He checked his pocket watch. "So let's separate and meet back at the entrance in about thirty minutes. Sound good to you?"

Maggie nodded and said "agreed. If you run into any trouble, just whistle. Luna will hear you and come get me" she headed for the stairs, holding her hand up and a silver fire appeared to light her way.

"Oh I'll whistle alright" Jynmi said nodding to the woman as she left. "And yell and go 'Help! Help! Something is trying to eat me, and it won't take no for an answer!'" He watched the exit for a few minutes before being satisfied she was gone. "Alrighty then. Time to get to work. Ugh. I hate getting to work, but there's no way out of it at this point." He shook his head as he pulled out a piece of chalk from his fanny pack and got to his knees to start making a circle.

Maggie walked up the stairs with Luna right on her heels. She looked around and then waved her hand and her shadows moved away and started to search the building for anything odd. Luna sat down by her and Maggie said "Take it easy, girl...I want you to keep your eyes open for anything. You papa gets back tomorrow so we need to keep things calm until then..."
