Wait I'm confused on what you mean

The content of the post or my comment? I just meant that Damar's the type to ramble on and on about philosophy and navel gaze on things.

For the post, he's basically saying he wants to see what's happening first hand and gather more information before he makes a decision, and that he thinks following one's instincts is too primitive to be of any real use in decision making.

Oh, it was a bit of both! I was also wondering where you think the conversation should go. I was thinking I'd let Damar kind of dictate the situation.

That's fine by me. I like to let conversations flow naturally between characters, though, so I don't really have any specific topics in mind.

Whenever my character interacts with others, I try to either ask open ended questions instead of yes/no ones, or leave the conversation open for a response. For instance, Damar just said he thinks trusting one's instincts is too primitive. Would your character take that as an insult, or would he think about what Damar was saying to him and change his opinion? How deeply is he actually thinking about what's being said, or how much of what Damar's saying does he understand? Things like that.

I meant more in a like "physical" direction, if you get what I'm saying. Like maybe meeting other characters or something. I could just continue the conversation if that's all that needs to be done.

Oh, I see. Alright then, how about we continue the conversation, then head after Stadak assuming he exits relatively soon to see what the Council said to him?

@Roosan said something about him coming down to have a word with Revan again, so I'm assuming you can intercept him on his way.

You'll have to excuse the relatively short responses. I've been pretty swamped lately.

@TheBigJon That's fine. I know that for college-age people it's finals time, so things are bound to be a bit slow.

@Midori @Korkoa Are you two still around?

First week of IC posting has passed, and as such, one lucky character who has been posted for this week will receive a prize.

Damar, Vijjo, Stadak, and Taiko have been posted for this week!

And the winner this week is . . .
Stadak!

@Roosan
This week's lottery prize is a set of Layered Wristbands. These bands may not look to be anything fancy, and may not be the most effective wristwear on the market, but they can absorb small amounts of energy and at least keep your hands from being lopped off in melee combat. How you come about these IC is up to you, whether they be simply lying around somewhere or conveniently fall off an airspeeder, but they are yours to claim at any point you wish, as long as it makes some level of sense.

oooooh, nice! Can I just retroactively equip them, given that we haven't been in combat yet?

@Rethel34 I'm still here, I had a big project to finish so I just finished two all-nighters in a row. I'll see about posting tommorow now that things are slowing down and it's my day off.

@Roosan Yes, you may, if you so desire. Just make sure to include them in your CS :)

@Midori Oh, wow. I'd say rest comes before RP in that case lol

Been working on some really simple custom icons so I can throw in items from KotOR, TSL, and TOR for the Holonet and it not look odd. I'm a guy who likes to make sure things work well aesthetically as well as functionally.

EDIT: Totally unrelated but about 19.5 % done with my re-installation of the trial version of SWTOR after not playing in 4 years XP

So whenever registrations are available again on the guild my brother was planning to join in here and make a character of his own. I might also put up a recruitment thread at some point in the near-ish future.

I'm pretty much going to let you guys decide when your chars have finished chatting and when you do, I'll timeskip to the arrival of the Victory Saber

Hopefully @Midori will get around to posting a response soon, because after that I'd like Stadak to have a word with Revan.

@Roosan If you'd rather not wait, you can always have your char come out of the council chamber and talk to people

Me and TheBigJon are pretty much stuck unless something else happens or unless we wanna look like total assholes and just walk away from someone after asking them questions, so yeah. Hopefully Midori shows up or Stadak comes out, one or the other.

Haha I love that you guys are asking the Padawan (who was clearly left out of the meeting) about how the meeting is going. I was so tempted to just put "How the F*** should I know?" and just leave it at that.

I admit I knew from the beginning we wouldn't actually learn anything, but it's not like we could just barge into the council chambers, right? >_>

I'll post Stadak coming out of the council chamber later today, sorry for holding things up slightly.
