As of May 15th, 2016, I am looking for at least one new role-playing partner.
Welcome to Artersf's interest check. As the title suggests, I am looking for a partner willing to participate in an action-based 1x1 role-play filled with drama. This sounds like I've already got a plot in mind. Well, I really don't, but I have bases to go off of. I'm willing to collaborate with any ideas that you have, should you choose to be my partner. I have a little information on myself and my role-playing standards.
Personal information (including how I role-play):
- I am a female who is 17 years of age.
- My characters are normally males, but I am not limited to playing only males.
- I can play up to five characters per role-play with no problem.
- I try to crank out at least two paragraphs per post, unless in order to write two paragraphs would involve a lot of useless info.
- Lots of cliche drama is usually a no-go for me, but a bit of cliche is never bad. I love plot twists and heart-wrenching tragedies.
- I'm currently in school until June 6th, but I will generally be able to post once a day, if not more.
- I like fluff and romance. I can get really sappy in my writing. However, I am terrible at writing smut and sex scenes, so if our two characters end up having sex, I would prefer a fade-to-black sequence.
I am willing to compromise to your standards if you need me to.
Role-play standards (what I would like from you/what I expect of you):
- I really don't mind even one-liner replies as long as the writing has depth and meaning.
- Again, I like a lot of drama and tragedy.
- However, I don't like role-playing with one solitary damsel-in-distress character. Having one is fine as long as you also have a generally independent character.
- I don't have too strict rules on how you should role-play, because I don't expect you to role-play the same way I do. However, I get turned off by bad grammar and spelling unless it's intentional for a scene in the role-play.
Now, as far as what I like in a role-play...well, that's been mentioned a couple of times. At least, the drama/tragedy parts. However, here are some genres I really like to role-play:
- Modern Fantasy*
- Modern Sci-Fi*
- Post-Apocalyptic
- Slice-Of-Life
- Supernatural*
- Power-Themed*
*Asterisks signify the four role-play genres I am craving the most at the moment.
