The Story
The Earth is under attack.
Hostile alien races have pinpointed it as primitive and completely undefended, and have targeted it. Some aim to destroy it, while others want to enslave humanity. But what all the aliens had in common is that they have entered quietly, and they are almost undetectable by normal humans. They can carry out their plots virtually unhindered in this way.
Yet the planet isn't completely without hope. An odd astronomical phenomenon occurred as thousands of shooting stars shot across the sky all across the world simultaneously, brightly shining with every color of the rainbow. Scientists were puzzled, and people across the world saw it as a dazzling display of Nature's majesty.
But what few people know is that during that 'meteor shower', the glowing balls of light weren't chunks of rock from outer space. They were alien life-forms known as Sprites, sent to help defend humanity. They each entered the home of a different person, inviting him or her to take a sacred pact that would allow them to access a special power. This power would let them defend the earth as one of the magical warriors known as the Chroma Knights.
That was three months ago. You were hoping that you'd never have to use that power, and that everything would be safe. But news of strange incidents has cropped up, and you realize that your simple peace isn't going to last...

Rules
1.) No Mary Sues.
They're very annoying to roleplay with, and they weaken a roleplay, so please be very careful to avoid these.
2.) Try to be polite OORP.
3.) No powerplaying.
Don't make your character dodge everything and then whip out a SuperGigaUltra Move that kills everything in the vicinity. That detracts from everyone else's experience.
4.) No godmodding.
You can't control the actions of another person's character. You can say your character attacked the other character, for example, but the other person decides if it hits, and how hard. BE REASONABLE with this, because I will totally be watching.
5.) Try to include everyone.
6.) No Mary Sues.
I'm serious about this, guys ;n;
7.) Romance is fine, but don't go overboard on the main thread.
8.) Violence is fine, but to an extent.
9.) Try to avoid super-short and unnecessarily long posts when possible.
This one's not so much a rule as a request, but try to get at least around a paragraph.

Lore and Info
The Chroma Knights receive their powers upon being chosen by a Sprite. The candidate has to take the Pact in order to gain their powers. Once the Pact is complete, the Sprite will take the form of a small animal, and the Knight will gain their powers.
The Sprites can change between their animal form and light form at will.
In order to use their powers, the Knights have to transform into different costumes using an enchanted gemstone. Otherwise, they're unable to use their abilities to prevent them from being discovered and targeted.

Common Powers
In addition to powers unique to their class, all Chroma Knights have a set of common powers.
* Magic Bolt: Every Knight can shoot out a bolt of magical energy.
* Indiscernible: It is impossible for someone to recognize a Knight while they are transformed just by looking at them. However, extremely individual traits such as scars, birthmarks, unique accessories, unique motion or speech patterns, etc., can allow them to be recognized by people.
* Unfilmable: Chroma Knights will not photograph or film properly when they're suited up. Pictures or videos will turn out blurry, no matter the conditions or camera.
* Physical Boost: Chroma Knights can run much faster, jump very high and fall slowly, and are a bit stronger than a normal person.

Harmony Gardens-
A large park in the center of downtown Greenfield. It consists of large grassy areas with open space and huge well-tended flowerbeds, a lake with boats, Meridian Pavilion, and a huge statue.

•Chroma Cavern: This cavern lies beneath the statue of Mirabella Whitehall. It can only be accessed for certain Chroma ceremonies, or when the city is in grave peril (read: when all hope is nearly lost or when I'm running out of plot points).
Abandoned Warehouses:
Abandoned warehouses are abundant in downtown Greenfield, and they're often used as the base of operations for aliens.
