Jenso clenched his fists as the beasts moved at him. He didn't have the time, Bobba was up to no good and these beasts were in his way. What if he went on killing everyone in Orobo? 'No...not THIS time! This time I will save everyone!' Jenso thought, as a surge of power rushed through him. As the worms closed in, Jenso weaved past one of them with surprising speed and turned around, aiming to slam his fist into the beast's side in order to launch the worm into the other two. After this punch, Jenso felt the power leave him again.

In that split moment, the worm was completely unable to keep up with Jenso's sudden burst of speed. He moved like a cheetah, and punched harder than a gorrilla, sending the first worm into the other two, which left them flopping around aimlessly above ground. The Worm that Jenso punched did not move at all, however. At any rate, he could finally escape.

Bobba circled the fountain as the civilians backed away from him. "Watch as it rises!" He shouted. The fountain began to crumble, spewing water everywhere, as something rose from above it. "The origin of Orobo! Orobo's Meteorite!" With those words, the giant ball of orange-black stone tore through the ground and sat in the middle of Orobo square, emitting a severe amount of energy. Bobba turned to it and placed one hand on its soft surface.

"Let us begin!"

Clash Of Resolves! Jenso V.S. Bobba, Round 2


Before Bobba had a chance to enact his ritual however, something caught his attention. He could have sworn he heard a familiar voice, and felt a series of footsteps. No... There's no way he made it out so quickly...

Jenso walked over to Bobba and looked at the stone, and the dead man on the ground. "Bobba..." Jenso muttered in a cold and angry tone, and got in a combat stance. "That man was your last victim! Get ready to get wrecked!" He shouted. He didn't care what the stone was all about. He just wanted to defeat Bobba right now. He dashed at him and aimed a kick at his head with his right foot.

Bobba turned around slowly, still in disbelief. He felt the power of Jenso's kick strike his helmet hard, and send him straight to the ground in a slide. But he wasn't going to stay down. Bobba immediately flung a series of black shards at Jenso as he rolled back onto his feet and gained his bearings. "You..!! Golden boy! All of this for a shirt!?" Bobba shrieked. Katie tried to look over the shoulders of the taller villagers to see what was happening, but barely got to see Bobba get decked the fuck out.

"Is that.. Is that Jenso?" She questioned quietly. The shirtless warrior was here to save them, and stop Bobba. But what the heck was going on? What was this about the meteor calling elementals earlier?

Bobba was on his feet again. He extending his armor plating along the edges of his arms, and created a set of stone claws over his hands. "I'll sell you to the devil!"

Jenso quickly jumped out of the way of the black shards and noticed that one of Bobba's bracelets was missing from his right arm. He was unsure why, but perhaps this meant that Bobba had been weakened. He also took into account that Bobba wore a lighter suit then before and now prepared to fight Jenso up close rather than attack from a distance. "This isn't just about a shirt! Not anymore!" Jenso replied, and dashed at Bobba. He aimed a low-sweeping kick at Bobba's knees with his left foot.

Bobba scoffed at Jenso's arrogant remark and jumped over his kick, aiming to slash at his chest with his right arm on the way back down, using his forward momentum, and Jenso's stance against him. "Speak no more!" Bobba shrieked as he flew forward like a hawk. Meanwhile, he prepared another set of black crystals on his left hand, dropping them onto the ground at Jenso's feet.

Jenso frowned as Bobba clawed at him. He leaned back and straight up let himself fall onto the ground to avoid being struck in the chest. He quickly attempted to roll further away from the black crystals and scurried back onto his feet. He dashed towards Bobba again while keeping his distance from the black crystals, aiming a punch with his left at the bracelets on his right arm.

Bobba's claw struck air, but as Jenso rolled away from his crystals, the shopkeep kicked them towards him again. The immediately released yellow smoke between Jenso and Bobba. As Jenso dashed through it, Bobba was not on the other side. He was further to Jenso's left already, and threw a series of black crystals at him again.

Jenso frowned as he failed to reach his target. Bobba's current speed was hard for him to deal with, along with the smoke that obscured his vision. He jumped out of the way of the crystals. He needed a way to get close without the smoke obscuring his vision. He remained on a distance, waiting to see what Bobba could do. He took a defensive stance. He'd have a hard time to strike Bobba, so perhaps he needed to get him to come to him. "Come on dude, face me head on!" He taunted.

Bobba didn't listen to Jenso's taunts, detonating his black crystals behind him and creating another cloud of yellow smoke. Bobba stepped to his right, where the first cloud still was, and Shicked his thumb against his index finger after applying a couple thin layers of black stone. The cloud lit up in fire and chained over to the denser cloud behind Jenso, which exploded. Bobba then dashed forwards and slashed at Jenso with one hand after the other, just like Lark had done with his sword. Bobba's speed wasn't nearly as fast as Lark's, but the motion was still hard to counter, especially with an explosive fireball expanding behind him.

Jenso gritted his teeth as Bobba came at him and the fireball came from behind. 'Shit..I can't..' Jenso thought, preparing to dodge Bobba's attacks. But did it matter? Even if he did, the fireball would consume him. Bobba's movements reminded him of Lark as he took several steps back to avoid the first few attacks. 'Lark...I'm sorry...I-' Jenso thought, as he remembered Lark's backstory and how he believed in Jenso. A burst of power rushed through him. "No! Everyone is counting on me! I need to WIN!" He roared, as he was suddenly able to dodge Bobba's attacks easier.

Due to the power surge and how Lark fought Jenso in the past, he was able to follow Bobba's movements for a moment. He leaned out of the way as Bobba clawed with his right hand, and attempted to grab his right arm with both hands. He tried to crush the bracelets with his increased strength, but didn't have time to see the result. He tried to pull Bobba out of the way and throw him into the expanding fireball before diving to the ground further away to avoid the incoming flames.

Bobba's movements felt sluggish, he was making mistake after mistake now, the most horrid being when he allowed Jenso to grab his hand and crush his black bracelet, and successfully throw him into the fireball of his own design. "Raaaaagh!" Bobba cried as the flames dispersed. He was revealed, still standing. His armor had faded, and he seemed to be mostly disarmed.

"How!? I accounted for your agility with the armor change, how did you!?" Bobba shook the feeling off, his shirt completely burned off and his face half-reddened by the fire. Jenso's shirt was still perfectly fine despite the fire though. "I won't underestimate your poverty any longer!" Bobba charged Jenso again, but this time, he had no armor at all. But as he punched with his right hand, a spike popped out of his knuckle, towards Jenso's chest.

Jenso glared at Bobba as he charged at him again. Due to no longer having armour, he would have gained an increase in speed. Jenso tried to keep his attention on Bobba's movements as a spike suddenly popped out of his hand. He tried to move out of the way at the last moment despite being caught by surprise, and aimed an upwards kick with his right foot at the remaining bracelet on Bobba's right arm.

It was a reflex now.

As Jenso kicked at Bobba's arm, a sheet of stone appeared in an instant and blocked his foot. Bobba then rushed forward, the stone and spike disappeared, and he swung his left arm at Jenso's face. A blade of stone scythed out from his forearm, aimed to cut Jenso's head clean in half.

Jenso reeled his upper body and head back, hoping the blade would move right above his face and chest area. He attempted to strike Bobba in the stomach with his left hand.

Bobba missed, and his stomach took Jenso's punch head on. But Bobba didn't move at all despite Jenso's strength. His feet were rooted by even more stone that momentarily attached them to the ground, and his stomach was covered in thick armor for a split second. Bobba's sycthe faded, and he grabbed Jenso's shoulders as his attack was blocked. He then struck Jenso right in the chin with an armored Knee-strike, taking full advantage of his mistake. He reeled his foot back and prepared to strike again, and slowly covered Jenso's shoulders in his rock armor around his hands.

Jenso grunted in pain as Bobba's knee-strike struck him and Bobba's rocks moved over his shoulders. Some blood ended up dripping from his face. He stared at the people behind Bobba in a daze. Just how many people did Bobba kill to gain the wealth he had before Jenso came to town? He felt a surge of power rush through him again as Jenso grit his teeth in anger of that sheer thought. "BOBBA...!!" He shouted, attempting to break free from the rocks that held him in place. As Bobba would kick at him, he'd try to catch his right knee with his right hand and pull him closer and more to Jenso's right while trying to keep it stuck in a firm grip, and aimed a punch with his left fist at Bobba's remaining bracelet on his right arm.

Bobba thought he'd adjusted and accounted for every factor, but Jenso's strength shooting up so violently was not one of them. He felt his stone-covered hands shatter as Jenso's shoulder muscles rippled and he grabbed hold of his knee. Bobba surrounded his leg in armor, but it didn't stop Jenso from pulling him right off his footing. While in midair, Jenso aimed to punch Bobba's wrist. He covered his arm in rock armor, and Jenso's fist struck against it hard.

Jenso's knuckles were scratched afterwards, but Bobba was laying on the ground, with his chest to the sky. Jenso's fist has crushed the armor around his arm, and by extension, his bracelet. Without his source of magical power, Bobba was no match for Jenso. He lay there defeated, contemplating the logic of what had just happened. How could he have been defeated? Who the heck was this guy?

Jenso could see that Bobba's spirit was shattered, and with it, the threat of the Orobo meteor, whatever it was.

Or so he though.

Chapter 16

Orobo's Elemental Guardian


The Orobo meteor still pulsed with energy despite Bobba's defeat, shining brighter with each passing minute. Bobba chuckled under his breath despite his crippling defeat, coughing a little bit between his laughter fits. "You can't stop the elemental call.." He insisted.

It was true. Something was on its way to Orobo, and it might have been even more dangerous that Bobba.
