Jenso's punch did nothing to move the Golem's arm, but it left another imprint on the side of the golem's appendage. The damaged golem then backed away, and began to reseal its face-plate as quickly as it could manage, but the heated strike from earlier had made it pretty difficult.

The golem that Jenso just hit then turned and tried to crush him between his hands.

As the second golem attempted to crush him, Jenso quickly hopped into the air to avoid the hands, and attempted to push himself off of the second golem's arms with his feet. He attempted to launch himself towards the first golem, and punch at it's core as fast as he could.

Jenso Soared through the air, outmaneuvering the Golems at ever opportunity. With a single punch, Jenso struck at the golem's core, shattering it like glass. It wasn't very strong when unguarded, as it was made apparent. The golem's icy body then fell to pieces. The second golem turned to face Jenso slowly, unable to react in time to the hot-headed warrior. This called for backup.

The second golem's core started to flash for a few moments, but it didn't move while this happened.

Jenso dashed at the remaining golem quickly and leaped at it, aiming to slam the palms of both hands into the golem's face. He was unsure what the golem was doing, but he knew that it couldn't be anything good.

The golem reeled back and its face-plate of ice cracked wide open revealing its flashing weak-point, just like its ally. For a moment, this golem-hunting shtick might have seemed too easy.

Jenso swung his fist forward in order to shatter the golem's core. He still had no clue what the golem was doing. Was the golem charging up an attack and did he interrupt it? Or was something else going on?

The second golem fell to pieces in an instant, and Jenso was finally free of pursuers. But just where was he in the fortress? And where was Paulie? As the second Golem fell, sounds echoed from down the main hall. Jenso could see the faint outline of a staircase behind a wall on his left, and a supremely massive door on his right.

As Jenso heard the sounds come from further ahead, it was clear that something was going on. Either the other golems were working on something, or they were about to go after Jenso. He had no intention of staying there to find out. He dashed towards the massive door on the right, trying to see through the transparent part of the door to find out what was going on within.

Jenso peered through the somewhat transparent doors, but could only see vague outlines of what appeared to be the same massive golem that attacked him earlier, and a few human-sized figures. One of them was colored differently from the others, though.

"Share the location of your trinkets, now," A monotonous voice ordered, followed by a sickening sound of shattering ice. A human scream sounded out. More of a grunt, actually. Jenso recognized that tone, though.

But before he could act, another golem approached him from the staircase. This one had thin limbs, and is core was embedded in the chunkiest part of its body, which stood over 15 feet off the ground, suspended by two lanky, jagged legs. The golem had two spear-like arms that were equally jagged, and no real head, but regardless of its appearance, the nasty thing looked like it wanted a fight. Another grunt-like scream tore across the upper floor. There was no doubt about it now!

Paulie was in trouble!

The long legged Golem Rushed at Jenso, stomping heavily and lashing out much quicker than his earlier opponents. The difference in speed and technique was insane! This golem was certainly meant for combat. Those other golems seemed like workers by comparison.

Jenso attempted to jump to the right to avoid the golem's strike and leaped at it's chest, aiming a punch at it's core.

The golem wasn't nearly afraid. It simply stood up straight, moving its core far out of Jenso's reach, and allowed him to punch at air. It then used both of its sword-like arms to slash at Jenso with a cross-shaped attack.

Jenso grit his teeth as the golem avoided his strike and it was about to slash. A surge of power rushed through him as he spun around at great speed in mid-air to the left to avoid the golem's strikes. He landed on the ground, and dashed towards a nearby ice wall. He stopped in front of it. "I'm right here buddy!" He shouted.

The giant golem rushed towards Jenso with its sword-like hands at the ready. With a single slash, suddenly, one of its arms extended and grew thinner as it flew towards Jenso like a harpoon.

Jenso waited until the harpoon was near and quickly tried to move out of the way, hoping the harpoon would get stuck in the ice wall. He dashed past the extended arm of the golem, and attempted to place his hands on the golem's left knee.

As Jenso got closer, the golem lashed its knife-like knee towards Jenso, and broke its harpooned arm off of the wall, leaving a large spear of ice behind in its place.

As the golem thrusted his knee at Jenso, he attempted to move further to the right to avoid the strike. While the golem's knee was extended, he aimed a low-sweeping kick at the golem's other foot as a surge of power rushed through him, aiming to knock the golem off-balance. He tried to hit the flat side of it's knife-like foot.

The golem's leg cracked, but didn't shatter on impact. Jenso's leg practically bounced off of the reflective icy surface of the golem's foot, leaving a very small series of cracks in its wake. But the Golem immediately pulled its other leg back towards the distracted Jenso like a sword, aimed for his spine.

Jenso pulled his extended leg back and looked over his shoulder to keep an eye on the golem's movements after his strike. As it's leg moved at his spine, Jenso quickly pushed himself off the ground with his foot to move and tried to roll out of the way to the side to avoid the strike. He lunged forward at it's cracked foot, and attempted to slam the palms of his hands onto the cracks.

Jenso's maneuver barely saved him from a paralyzing blow. The golem's foot only sliced at his back, cutting open his shirt and leaving a shallow wound behind. But Jenso's strike proved to be perfectly aimed, and the golem's foot shattered. It fell forwards, its rounded body striking the ground in front of Jenso hard.
