if this RP is still up, eventually, i'm also interested, but i'd hope the gm won't leave too often for long periods of time

Dune is basically Game of Thrones in scifi. Noble houses warring silently between each other in a gigantic galaxy loosely ruled by the one Emperor and his corps of nigh-invincible Sardaukar, intrigues hidden in cunning plans concealed in deadly ploys wrapped up in convoluted ruses, all for the sake of increasing one's personal power and improving one's control over Spice, stuff like that. If anybody is interested i can even try to GM it. It can be something like nations RP or a game where all players are members of one house trying to bring it to glory.

Though of course i do hope that Sawdust isn't actually dead and just has some problem that prevents him from going online.

I wouldn't be so quick to declare this dead, Sawdust could just be having RL problems.
