Good. You are learning. Yes I could do a lift and slam into mount. But there are other ways to extricate from the choke. They also put me in a dominate position. What are they?

Another big downside of a reverse guillotine is that it's over handed instead of underhanded. You could take the elbow pretty easily and twist the arm away. Without the other hand for grip and stability it's kind of weak.

And you could go for underarm and gut punches to break his grip. Which would break pretty easily since he won't have had a chance to breathe since the liver punch.

Other readily available responses are illegal moves, since there are now blows to the back of the head, back of the neck or spine. So my response will have to be entirely leg and left arm, which is where you have me at a disadvantage.

I've got an idea and I'm keeping it on the back burner until I figure this out.

Alright, so YOUR roleplay is the only one I have this excuse for.

It took me so god damn long to formulate a reaction to your post because of how advantageous of a position you were in.

I had to actually perform several different attempted takedowns and responses on my roommate JUST to have a post that I was confident about. And even this one has its flaws.

I am having a few problems with your move. Mainly your body movements and your actions. You are grabbing my left with your right? How does your left hand pull my arm in? You are going for a leg sweep from an awkward position which I am having trouble visualizing.

Also the awkward position you are in leaves you open to a very quick, nasty counter. Why didn't you just avoid the upper and reset the fight?

A side note. I never said he was left hand dominate. I just said I was fighting southpaw.

He's grabbing Jake's left with his left. He turned his body to the right and grabbed the arm in the crook of of his own arm.

He's turning on his right foot and sweeping with the left leg. If the post wasn't clear I'll rewrite it, I did write it pretty late at night.

That's fine but you are open to a vicious number of counters and your sweep fundamentally is flawed, you should be going for a leg hook not sweep.
