Yeah I think that I might have some questions but actually that answered a lot of the questions I had.

You picked the perfect person to be Death.

Maddox: fire away with questions. I'm ready and what I can't answet, Death can so we're set.

Death: thank you. It was the eyes wasn't it?

Clary: and they're very well mannered and nice!

It is the eyes Death. You have very intense eyes.

They really are very well mannered and polite. Its actually very refreshing. Hmm let's see...well clearly your race itself is very old. Is there a lot known about Reapers in general or do you try to keep yourselves away from other races that are not dying?

Death: what I was going for.

Maddox: Generally speaking we try and keep away from other races, but we're often sought out. Humans found a way to bind us a long time ago, and by accident, but it's known now, so the less were around during others the better. Newbies don't have to worry about the binding thing thougj, not until after they have learned to access other realms.

Death: that and we're often misunderstood. Yes reapers ferry souls, but they cannot take or give life. I'm special and can. Reapers are often sought simply because we can access all realms, no questions asked, no prerequisites. That and we can come in direct contact with souls.

Clary: and binding Reapers passes Death off because he feels like it's a low blow.

Maddox: it also doesn't help because it is assumed our neutrality is choice, but it's not. We must remain neutral.

Awe well that is just horrible that the human found a way to bind you guys. And see that is something that is good to know, because I thought reapers could take lives. Yeah I figure it would piss him off, it really is a low blow and really rude.

Well with that knowledge I can actually do a class and with your race staying away from others as much as possible I think reapers would be kind of like Phoenixes in the sense that not a lot is known.

I do have a few questions myself though. If you are basically alive, do you have souls looks the living? Or is that the fact you don't have a aura?

Maddox: *nods* being bound is not fun. It's quite annoying really.

Death: *chuckles* they've tried to bind me, but no avail. It's funny really.

They would be I think. I mean reapers are few and far between, and a new one coming up is very rare.

Maddox: we have souls, however we have no aura because of our neutrality. No matter how neutral others say they are, they always lean one way or another and it gives aura color.

Clary: oh! And if there is two auras it's a special case, like most hybrids have dual aura but you have to have good aura sense to see it, just like changing in aura color. The spectrum is broad, but it's quite fun to learn.

Death: *nods* and reaper souls, as Maddox forgets to mention, are more sensitive to changes in aura. They don't just see aura they feel it not just astoundingly dark ones. All of them. It's a little overwhelming at first, but I'm keeping our little Clary bug for a few days to help her adjust some before she returns to the school... when we get there.

*looks at Maddox* I'm guessing that you've been bound before?

Haha I'm sorry I just can't imagine someone being stupid enough to bound you Death. That's funny as hell.

Yeah, clearly it is a good thing they are like that too. Like I didn't even realize humans could bound things.

That actually makes a lot of sense when you put it that way. That two auras thing is really cool, I wish I could see that.

*looks at Death* So than if there was any corruption of any type, even if you couldn't see it. You could feel it?

Maddox: *nods* and as I said, it's not fun. Having people trying to make you kill others or bring back others, and then when they realize you can't... well then they want to piggyback into other realms.

Death: *smirks* none of them are human. I may have to remain unbiased, but I will personally reap those souls just because I'll find a lot of pleasure in it.

Maddox: *nods* old Satanic rituals actually can do things, since they are based on actual spells. *looks to Clary* sorry.

Clary: it's okay. *looks at Love* Sal can see auras like that. He says it's cool. I can't yet

Death: *nods* it's quite useful. I believe the only other race with that acute of aura sense are seers. Trust me. I have a feeling it's going to open our little Clary bug's eyes some more when she can feel it. *pats her shoulder*

Maddox: he will. No worries. I'll be with them too for a while. As Death said, we may have to remain unbiased, but I don't like a lot of who will be in that school. I've reaped a lot of the souls from Azrael kills... and trust me, it's not pretty. So I am best to keep distance.

Death: *sighs* none of my reapers are particularly fond of those who find ways to torture souls before death. Souls are beautiful things, they aren't to be harmed.

Lucifer: *sighs a bit a joins conversation* which is where the majority of the hell cages come from. Torturing pure souls to the point of darkness.

What the hell kind of human would want to piggyback into Hell?! Sorry just wow. Poor Maddox, the thought of you bound makes me sad. Would you like a hug?

*shakes head* Well that's just not fair at all. Humans are supported to be the one race without powers. That's why they have weapons. *gives Clary sad look*

I figure it will open her eyes. Seeing that most hybrids try to hide the fact that they are. And that's okay Maddox I'm pretty sure that a lot of them won't like you either. Some people really don't like that you can see that corruption I'm sure. But good you can help take care of Clary while you are with them.

Maddox: *shrugs* Death may be assigning me to the school grounds while he's busy though. He wants to make sure Clary has one of us around while she's still so new. *whispers* and of course I'll take care of her. She's too sweet.

Death: *sighs* unfortunately corrupted souls don't much care, especially when they're too far gone.

Lucifer: *nods* I plan to. It breaks my first commandment of hell, so it is punishable by cage.

Ah Heaven makes much more sense. Still don't think I'd want to deal with the angels. Awe that makes me happy. *gives big hug back*

Oh well now that is going to be interesting for sure, having one of you guys at the school all the time. Though I'm very glad that you will be there for her. *whispers back* Good, she is a sweetie.

Plus Logan is going to be leery of her at first. So she's down a protector.

Maddox: they're self entitled assholes. *whispers* Clary is definitely a hugger so she's not afraid to tell who gives good hugs.

Death: I will never leave a new reaper unattended. It's hard for them to learn certain things from others since we are so reclusive.

Maddox: of course. Death trusts me with his new reapers since I was his first one. I take some pride in that. *whispers back* Logan may be leery but we know he'll come around again. Until then, I'm more than happy to keep her safe, and then after. She's growing to feel a bit like a daughter.

Lucifer: you would think it'd be an easy commandment to follow. But it is obviously not. I do not like the desecration of pure beings and souls are pure.

Death: you would really like to think that.

Yeah it's cute. She just kind of has that effect on people. And I can see it now, Maddox will be all on her about grades and stuff too. Ha ha. It'll be hilarious

Yeah. It'll be great too. Cole will be so nervous actually meeting him too after being told about him.

Maddox: *nods and smiles* I'm glad that is a relief. And it's a good thing. She is very lucky to have you it seems, and you her. *whispers* she worries a lot about you. You can tell she's your sister. *chuckles* am I to assume she tackle hugs everyone she meets tho? That was a very... fun experience for me.

Cole: *nods* dude man, and he's a reaper, and I've never met a reaper and I don't want to offend anyone... I've never met the parents before. *whispers* you think I'll do good?

Lucifer: *nods*

Death: I wouldn't either. That's a lot to ask of your child.

I love how calm this conversation has been. No death threats or random objects being thrown.
