Adelyn blinked again in confusion, wondering what he could possibly mean by that, they were all true? She pushed the thought to the back of her might, deciding to figure it out later. She glanced around at all the other girls and saw that the other men had already chosen who they wanted. What was going to happen now?

Thresh cut the rope that held Destiny's legs together. "Can you walk?" he asked kindly. He looked at the crowed and smiled, then looked back to her. "You are alright, yes?"

"Witches, werewolfs, and of course..." Jasper circled her slowly with his hands behind his back, a wicked smile forming in the corner of his lips as he paused. He stopped behind her and placed his hands on her shoulders. "Vampires." Jasper blew a gentle breeze aimed at her neck then followed by a chuckle.

Destiny nodded, "yes." She said silently answering all of his questions at once. She looked at him happy he was being so nice. She silently stood by him waiting for him to help her escape the looks of all the supernaturals in the crowd. She was uncomfortable.

Vivian's eyes widened, her original thought was that perhaps the strange colored eyes were just an strange genetic mutation. Never in a million years would she have first guessed that Micha was a vampire, "Oh......A Vampire.…Silly me for thinking vampires aren't real."


Micha smiled a bit. She's so naive. He took her hand once more. "Yes, it's true. I am a vampire." He said as the smile he wore faded away at the reality that he was immortal and Vivian was not. It left an empty feeling in his mind.

Vivian was still in a state of shock, how could this be real, all he life she had been taught that there was the real world and then there was the world of stories. However she could barely hear self think of the noise of the crowd. "I don't like this place, I mean this stage. I never liked crowds."

Adelyn watched him apprehensively, a nervous feeling sweeping through her when he walked around behind her and she resisted the urge to turn so she could keep him in her line a sight. She jumped slightly when she felt him place his hands on her shoulders and suddenly she let out a small squeak, flinching away slightly when she felt a gentle breeze on her neck. The wind wasn't blowing at all so it could only have come from him. She trembled even more at his chuckle, feeling her fear increase.

"I've teased you enough." Jasper said with a sigh as he completed his circle and now was in front of her once again. He looked her in the eyes with a blank expression "I'm sorry Adelyn. Please forgive me for teasing you." Jasper bowed his head and smiled back up at her. Maybe she honestly was afraid of him. Jasper looked down at the ground and frowned.

Faeya glared at the man and tried to wiggle from the restraints. She mumbled curses at him. , she thought as she gave him a look that said 'take this darn tape off my lips'. She hated the restrained feeling she had.


He grinned a little, walked over to her, and gently took the tape off....though it still probably hurt, he tried to be as gentle as he could be. "You didn't say please, that's a little rude of you to do, especially to someone who'll be taking care of you for the rest of your life." He adjusted his glasses a bit, a smirk forming on his face while he held himself up with a staff. His back was arched...almost as if it was broken or he had some kind of disability. It was, however, unconfirmed, since he looked so young and fresh.

Faeya glared. "Who are you?! Where am I?!" She struggled against the ropes. She hated this confined feeling. She wanted to get out. She quickly looked around at all the other girls and their 'partners' with a confused look. "What's going on here? Why are we tied up?" She looked back up at the man and said "and who said I'd be here for the rest of my life?!"

"Well you see, it's easy." He smiled, cutting her down and holding her in closely. almost as if he was hugging her. He stared down at her, grinned, and took off his glasses. "You were abandoned because up there...nobody loves you. However, here, I'll take care of you. I will keep you safe, warm, fed, groomed....all in the exchange that you don't run away. Sounds good, love?" He smirked again, petting her hair.

He stayed smiling, which then turned into a bit of a crooked frown, then back into a smile. He then laughed quietly, which got a little bit louder and louder. He then grinned at her, a menacing look on his face as he pulled her away to bring her back to his home. "Oh don't be so ignorant my little darling, I'm much, much more older then you can imagine...you can even say, I'm much older than this town itself..." His crooked back began to turn up into a strong posture, his arms began to hold her closer and had a much more stronger grip on her as well. "Tell me, what's your name and do you like books?"

"I'm not really sure when we are to leave. I don't much like this situation either." Micha said, frowning at the hooting crowd and wolf whistles that erupted every time the two so much as touched. He looked around him and saw that a pair had already left the stage. "I'm sure no one would mind if we slipped away for a bit, yeah?" Micha said spotting the door to the left of the stage. A sign overhead read 'Exit'.

Thresh decided he did not need a answer. He walked over to Destiny and gently took her hand. "If you want we can leave now. Did I tell you my name?" Thresh asked. He looked at the others and those that where leaving. He knew she wanted to leave the stage as much as he did.
