By morning Raph woke up, to find a puppy sleeping soundly on his chest. He shook his head and sighed, letting the dog sleep he put his hands behind his head wondering how he could get out of this mess and confront Ogden without getting killed. He couldn't leave Jackie without someone in his place to keep her safe from other assassins sent to kill her. He loved her to much to know she was killed, he finally knew his feelings for her he loved her. Even though part of him wanted to deny the fact, the other part couldn't no after how much the other half yelled at him.

"NO! Please! Don't die!" Jackie gasped as she jerked awake the book falling onto the floor gasping as she looked around shivering while clutching the blankets close to her chest breathing hardly. That had to have been the worst nightmare she ever had, and she did have only a few of those in her lifetime. She placed a hand on her cheek coming up with tears running down her eyes. She didn't want to think about her nightmare but it still played behind her eyes like a macabre theater being produced again and again.

Raph heard Jackie scream, he ran across the hall forgetting about his shirt there was no time. He banged on the door "Jackie are you alright tell me something please!" Raph voice was heard on the other side of the door, his voice full of fear, he hoped no one got to her that no one had hurt her, but being an assassin he always assumed the worst had happened to her. It was the down side of being one, they always had to assume the worst had happened to keep themselves alive now he was scared out of his mind for Jackie.

Jackie heard the banging of the door and brightened when she heard Raph's voice on the other side of the door. "I'm alright. Nasty nightmare." She said getting up and opening the door and hugging him tightly needing reassurance that he was alright still shivering a little, but it receded as she hung onto him her hair hanging down and being a whole lot more curly with her bed head that she had. "I'm sorry I worried you." She said softly.

Raph put his arms around her, he let out a shaky breath of relief. He was glad Jackie was ok, it calmed him a bit knowing she was safe and not hurt. "You scared me I just heard your scream and that was it I thought you we're....no I'm not even going to think about that what was the nightmare about?" He wondered what had scarred her so bad in that nightmare, he wanted to know what scared her that badly.

Jackie blushes a little and bites her lip. "I dreamed that you had been shot by an arrow and were losing a lot of blood. Here." She said placing her hand on his back in between the bones where the right lung was located. "This is where the arrow was. I shot awake thinking you were dead having felt blood on my hands." She said softly explaining what had made her so afraid to scream like that. Jeremy ran up but stopped seeing the two together like that, the ruby ring still laying on the promised hand it shimmering in that moment and smiles a little leaving them alone. He could see within that small shared moment that his miss loved their guest. Jackie blushes realizing that she had been touching his bare skin but couldn't take her hand away from the warmth he produced. She looked up, stopped for a bit to look at his lips then into his eyes.

Raph nodded, only an assassin like him could hit that mark it was so simple to let someone bleed out. He saw her looking at his lips then met his eyes, he smiled a little then leaned down and kissed her gently. It wasn't like the quick kiss he gave her last night, this one was soft and sweet. Before Jackie he had never felt this way for anyone, not a lot of people could get an assassin to love them Jackie hadn't even tried and he loved her.

Jackie responded to this kiss automatically, giving herself into this exchange, revealing everything she felt. Her love and the fear that he'd be taken from her so early. She had no idea how she'd handle that. Probably not that well. Her hand kept a hold of him as she needed something to keep her steady, her other one around his neck and softly playing with his hair.

Raph pulled back, and slid his arms around her waist. "Jackie I'm not going anywhere for a long tome you won't lose me," he said softly a smile on his lips. So she did feel the same way as he did her, he wanted to be sure thet she felt the same way for him to how she did he had to kiss her to find out.

"I still worry. I know you can't really promise that, since you still have to find out who would frame you like this and confront your boss." Jackie said relaxing against his hold needing to be there for the rest of her fears to go away for a time. "So please don't promise me that until you have that settled. Because I won't believe you until that time has come. And I can't help being worried for you." She admits seriously.

Raph nodded, "alright Jackie I won't promise that till all of this is over. Now I'm wondering how your father would react if you told him you were in love with an assassin," he laughed at the image that came into his mind. Most people would freak, her father he wouldn't count on not really he would try to convince her to love someone else.

"Hmm. If I know my father as well as I do, he'd stare you down and threaten to take out your innards while you watch should you even think about hurting me." Jackie said but smiles at him softly. "However if your honest with him you'll wind up on his good side. That's the advice I can give you." She said.

Raph nodded, then looked down at his torso. He felt his face heat up fast, he totally forgot about his shirt when he heard Jackie's scream. He didn't know that until he looked down at himself, well he didn't even think about making an expression like this to anyone really. He was stupid for assuming the worst had happened to her, then he totally forgot about his shirt in the whole process.

Jackie liked the fact that he didn't have a shirt on. She probably should feel wicked for admitting that even to herself. But she didn't care really but estranged herself from him thinking he was uncomfortable. "I will come downstairs for breakfast after I've changed." She said giving him an out as she went to do just that.

Raph smiled and shook his head, he took a quick shower. Got some pants and a white shirt on, his hair still damp as he went downstairs. He saw Henry drop some plates, his reflexes allowed him to catch them all without breaking them then setting them on the table "you got to be a bit more careful."

"Thank you very much sir." Henry said with a smile glad that the stranger helped him. He wouldn't have known what to do about broken plates. Lilian came down a few minutes later in a dress having taken a small bath her hair just a little wet. She looks from Henry to Raphael and smiles. "So what is for breakfast today Henry?" She asks kindly.
"Sylvia thought that some hash browns with onions, bacon, sausage, and pancakes would be lovely this morning miss." Henry answers with a small smile at the mistress of the house.

Raph nodded at Henry, he sat down in a chair. He slowly relaxed knowing that no one was coming to kill him this morning, his leg bouncing up and down from the unused energy he was supposed to use it last night, but he didn't go on his usual routine last night. He would do it later today, see if he could lure the assassin that wanted him dead, out of hiding.

Jackie looks at Raph curiously. He seemed to be bursting with energy since her nightmare. She wondered if he was expecting something to happen. She bit her lip softly. "If you have something you need to do, perhaps you can do it after breakfast. But I expect you'll come back before it gets too dark to let me know you're okay?" She asks softly knowing she'd worry for every hour he was away.

Raph nodded, "I'll be back before it gets to dark if something doesn't hold me up at work." He knew Jackie would worry about him. While he wasn't in her sight, he knew that part all to well. He slowly rubbed his arm, having a bad feeling of who had framed him, he knew it was an assassin. Only assassins could frame over assassins that well, but he had a bad feeling that his own father the one that took him off the streets had framed him. Of course with that it was kill or be killed, that would be fun having to face off his father. His father wasn't the big problem though, it was Ogden that would be a problem to get rid of. Raph sighed one step at a time don't get ahead of yourself.

"Alright. Thank you. Please keep safe." Jackie asks him with a small smile. She knew he could take care of himself. Still she would worry. It was a part of her personality.
