"That is a great idea," spoke Alexander.

"You may be the most powerful of all of us," Ascot said. "Of course, not that even unreliable visions of the future aren't useful..."

"Or healing," Alexander put in, before turning to Sam.

"Hmm, can I have an excuse to carry some chalk? For my second power? Remember, the ability to create uncross-able boundaries at will might help cover our escape, or at least sow confusion on the inevitable ground combat."

"He's referring to his ability to draw a chalk line, or a line in the sand, or even a line of blood, infuse it with his energy, and cause all enemies who try to cross it to suffer a mental block that prevents them from being able to pass through," said Ascot. "This line can be overcome by Ascended-level powers, but even then, it's still useful."

Alexis smiled at Ascot's compliment. " Thanks kid but the truth is...I am not. I am good for this mission but nothing more. I may be a good hacker due to my powers but when it comes to fighting...I ain't good. I mean yea...I can shoot and stuff but my real powers hide in my ability to make enemy machines to switch sides. If the enemy isn't using anything technological , that's it for me.
Wow. What a great power. To make draw-able barriers to stop enemies. It brings that old saying " I dare you to cross that line " to a whole new level
" laughed Alexis.

@Letter Bee"Many slaves carry chalk for artistic and occasionally medicinal reasons." said Tra'cha. "They wouldn't have any reason to suspect if you also carried some. They will be very few Ascended states at the market, and only the occasional slave with any of their powers, so that weakness is virtually insignificant."

@Ashevelendar "That's not a bad idea." said Samuel. "We could leave a virus to shut down the slave collars when we trigger it and spyware that will let us gather info and hack in easier in the future. Could you set that up so that Tra'cha can just plug in a flash drive to their system and have those programs auto-upload? We could set it to trigger the virus when he activates his special collar-controller."

Alexis laughed when she heard the question. She looked at Samuel in the eye.
" Sorry sir but when it comes to machines , there are not many things I cannot do. I'll just have to "be" in the enemy's machine's minds for like...30 seconds to bring down their firewalls and that's it. It could be more but I haven't seen anything that I couldn't handle 'till now. It's not my fault the aliens treat their machines as if they were machines...they have their own feelings , you know ? " said Alexis with a wink at the end.

@Ashevelendar"Ok, then." said Samuel. "Get the virus and spyware ready. We'll be landing in about five minutes." He then reached over and opened a storage locker just behind the cockpit. "All dangerous weapons in here. When we get ready to spring into action, just come back here and hide it on you the best you can. I'll be the head slave if anyone asks." He then put his rail pistol, smoke grenades, and flashbangs in the locker and reentered the bridge. The door was open in case anyone wanted to ask more questions.

Alexis puts her hands on the stick drive and the drive starts to glow a little. Alexis starts to hum for a few minutes. She then looks at the others and says " Done. The stick will do it's work. Now , it just needs to be put inside one of their computers and I'll have instant access to it via this * she takes out a small computer ( small enough to be able to hide it ) *. ".

She looks at the locker and puts a knife and a pistol.

Alexander and Ascot put their weapons inside the locker as well, before returning to keep waiting for the landing.

"This is it, the moment of truth," spoke Ascot.

"Be careful," Alexander said. "I think I already said that, but, well, no harm in repetition today."

"Yeah," said Ascot, "for a first field assignment, I do admit to needing to be reminded not to be reckless."

The landing field was drawing closer, or so it seemed to Alexander and Ascot.

"And good luck," Alexander said.

"You too," replied Ascot.
