Rebirth: Return of the Dragons!

Dragons have been extinct for hundreds of thousands of years, but, what if that wasn't really the case? What if there were dragons waiting to hatch the entire time? Dragons do exist and they are slowly returning as more and more dragons start to hatch! However the world has changed dramaticly since they departed from the world and with the new changes will the dragons survive or will they go extinct forever? It is a quest for survival as the hatchlings explore the new world around them and figure out who and what to trust, and who and what is a threat to their very existence.


So in this, dragons are starting to return. We, the players will play at LEAST one hatching however, you can also play a human if you so desire so you can one day ride a dragon or make a special bond with a dragon or try to hunt a dragon, etc.

Now then here is the thing. Dragons hatch without a humans, however, once hatched the dragons can form a bond with one human, this bond is created as soon as they hatch and the dragon will feel drawn to the human. This does not mean, however the dragon has to go and seek out the human. Now the humans will not be discovering the return of the dragons for some time as the dragons must work together to survive.

Sorry if this post has gotten a bit out of hand OR if you get overwhelmed at the questions I propose.

I'm interested and may join for the ride if I'm available at the time.

Also, I have multiple questions:
1) Will you have a preset-character or can you design one or what?
2) Is there a limit to personality traits a dragon/human can have?
3) Are there going to be any non-fictional elements, like magic?
4) Will there be time warps for faster plot development? (Ex. 2 years later...) If so, would these dragons be allowed to mate and have children together to repopulate? (Discussing the events in OOC. Ex: "BTW [Player1] and [Player3] are having hatchlings." and not actually posting IC that they are having kids until after the event, this would mean both players would have to consent to this ahead of time.)

1 & 2: It's all up to you. You got full control over character creation. I allow this in every Rp as I see no reason for to limit it.

3: I'm considering it, if each dragon had its' own power then they would be better suited to surviving. So probably.

4: Maybe, we will see how it goes but if I did though, it wouldn't be for a good portion of the Rp, since it will be about how you survive and interact in the world around you.

Alrighty, Thanks for the info! I'll stick around to see what's going on and if it's happening, I'll probably dig around, create 2 chars if not.

@VeilanK Hopefully it will. If you stick around, then that makes 3, possibly 4 since I have a friend who's joining, and he has a brother.

Anyway it's modern day mixed in with fantasty. So humans have everything we have today, then there are other mythical creatures such as griffins, trolls, ogres, etc.

Also, if this goes through, mind giving us a character sheet so we know what to base our character(s) off of? This will just make creating a character much easier IMO instead of writing multiple paragraphs.

Personality:

And unless you are a humanoid, we are starting off as hatchlings so I'd assume we wouldn't need the age.

Etc. Etc.

Alright, thanks a bunch! This will make life easier of us.

What im wondering is how do we age our dragons unless we aren't starting out as hatchlings? Because if we start off as hatchlings, wouldn't we have tobdo like days?

Alright, sorry for all the questions! It's just when I get interested/introduced to new topics, I tend to ask plenty of questions to get the info I need to work.

Also, just making sure, but is sentimental attachment something you cant let go of?
