"Oh I know. You better lay off the junk food before you get fat," Liz jokes, poking her friend's stomach, unable to help herself but chuckle as she imagined her friend with anything but a tiny waist. At the ask of her weekend Lizzy gave her friend a soft smile. Y'know, same same. Hung out with Phil, visited dad, rather uneventful really. Yours? " she replies, continuing that smile. Uneventful may have not described the part where her father came to pick his children match to get into another shouting match of a fight with his ex. Liz wasn't going to tell Ariel so. It's not that Liz didn't rely on her friend to tell her so much but Ariel had been through a lot already with her mother passing, wwven if it was years ago. At least Lizzy had both parents...

Ariel laughed herself, jerking away when her friend went to poke her. Being deathly ticklish wasn't all that fun, really. She raised her brows in a mocking way at the mention of Phil, their other friend. Ariel wasn't as close to him as Liz was, but Cheese-steak was pretty cool. "Oooh. Phil," she said, joking. "The way to to hang out together, people might think your married or something," she said with a small laugh. "Oh, you know, looked at some of dads case files without permission, did some stuff on my blog. Same ol, same ol." More like: 'Me and dad had another argument and I turned into a recluse, but I'm not telling you that.'

"At our age no one's gonna think that," Lizzy replies with an eye roll. "And stop speculating you. Phil and I are just friends, nothing more!" she points out before Ariel could go further. Of course, this wasn't the sorta topic her friend dropped but it was worth the shot. She tugged on her short orange ponytail, "Isn't going through case files, y'know, illegal?" Lizzy points out. "Your dad'll kill you if he finds out,"

Ariel shrugged once more. "Okay, I'll give you that. People do think you two are dating though, that much I know to be a fact." It was at this moment that the bus stopped in front of the school, letting them and the rest of the students off at the entrance to their personal hell. "Eh, I guess so. But hey, he'd kill me for a lot of things," she joked.

"People," she mocks, "Who? Besides you, that is," she asks. The bus then stops and Lizzy watches as students shuffled out of the bus. "True, true," she replies with a yawn. "What have you got first?"

"Oh, you know. Julie from second, the teachers, every sing person who's ever seen you two together. I mean, you can't be that oblivious. The guy likes ya," she said the last part with a silly wink thrown in Liz's direction. "History with Douche-bag Jones. You?"

Lizzy scoffed, shaking her head, "None of them think we're dating, particularly not the teachers. They wouldn't speculate such things! I mean, yeah he likes me, but as a friend. He doesn't connect with people Ariel. I'm just a comforting face in a careless crowd," she argues, rolling her eyes at her friend's wink.

Lizzy chuckled, "Careful or people will think you're talking 'bout me. I've got English first,"
