The copies were eliminated and Shiranui lost some points. "Titania, time to battle from the other side! Use Skill Swap!" The Mega Gardevoir started using her psychic powers and both battlers started glowing with auras as Titania prepared to swap her Pixilate ability with Jiraiya's Protean ability.

"Substitute into Night Slash!" At the last moment, Jiriya conjured a substitute that recived the bad shock and burst. Jiriya appeared behind Tatiana with the dark typed blade in hand. Jiriya's maneuver lowered Shiranui's points slightly, Jiriya was about to hit the Gardevoir with the Night Slash when Lillian called "Time!" If that would have connected, Liam would have won but instead it was a draw. Jiriya was tired, and wouldn't take too much more. It would be down to the next attack to connect wins.
"Double Team into Night Slash!" Jiriya made copies of himself and they leapt in with the blades making a star-like shape and closing in on Titania.

Jiriya was hit just when his blade was just an inch away from Titania, and he was knocked out. A red "x" appeared on the each of the monitors at the judges' desks. Shiranui was named the winner. Liam came out and helped Jiriya up, praising him for the good job before recalling him to his ball.

"It was amazing." Mr. Coleman replied as he took a seat. "I also got something for you boys." He said as he handed them both something that resembled a tiki. "This is an ornament that depicts a mysterious Pokémon that has been venerated as a guardian deity for an extremely long time in Alola." He explined. Liam thanked his father for it.

Shiranui was curious about the ornament so he pulled out his Pokédex and scanned it. "Tapu Koko, the Land Spirit Pokémon. It confuses its enemies by flying too quickly for the eye to follow. It has a hair-trigger temper but forgets what made it angry an instant later."

"I found two particular Pokémon in Alola. One that you will like son, and the other one is for my wife." He held a Heal Ball and a Luxury Ball in his hand. He tossed them in th air and they opened. from the Heal Ball came a Pokémon that resembled a lei, and from the other came a quadrupedal creature. It had a yellow heart shape ontop of its head. The top half of its body is a stone grey, while the bottom half was a darker grey. "These are Comfey and Jangmo-o." He explained. "Joys in Alola use Comfey along with the standard Chansey and Blissy." He explained.
Liam commented that Jangmo-o was cute.
"It's also a dragon." Mr. Coleman said. At that comment, Liam had the same facial expression as Ash does in this picture.
