Jenso glared at the walls that surrounded him. He was unsure what Ross intended to do, but the most obvious would be that he intended to crush him. He spun around in mid-air, aiming to stop against one of the stone walls with his feet. A surge of power rushed through him as he pushed himself off to launch forward at top speeds, aiming to ram his fists through the wall in front of him in order to escape the stone prison. He would land a good distance away from Ross if he would manage to escape, and dash around Ross in circles. He attempted to get Ross to make a move, and make himself more difficult to hit.

Jenso escaped and the stones fell to dust, but Ross wasn't summoning his sword again. "Ha... Damn it," Ross grunted, "I can't wield my earth render like this. Guess it's just time to rend it the old fashioned way!" Ross followed Jenso with his eyes, but didn't do anything at first. Then, he jumped towards Jenso, and stomped on the ground, rising a pillar in his path, and hoping that Jenso wouldn't notice it as he watched Ross.

Jenso's eyes narrowed at Ross as he stomped on the ground, immediately searching the area around himself as he did. He was aware of Ross's earth powers by now, so he didn't want to be caught off-guard. Due to knowing that, he managed to notice the pillar that appeared in his way, and tried to made a sharp turn to the right so he would avoid crashing into it and move behind it instead, out of Ross's field of vision. A surge of power rushed through him as he rammed his right fist into the pillar in order to launch a chunk of it at Ross's face, and followed up by launching a fireball from his left hand at the hole in Ross's stomach.

Ross Clenched his fist as the chunk of stone flew towards him, and it turned to dust. But It also sent his Pillar careening towards Jenso as well. The fireball struck him dead on though, forcing him onto one knee. Ross had terrible reaction speed without his sword, especially with all the pain and Jenso's tricky maneuvers playing into the situation. He might not have totally seemed like it, but he was already being pushed to his edge.

Mikey watched closely, scanning Jenso's fighting style carefully as the fight went on. He knew Ross was physically stronger, but Jenso's speed and intelligence, paired with his superior stamina, and fire abilities, made it clear as to who was going to win this round.

Jenso tried to dash out of the way of the incoming falling pillar and gathered flames in his hands and launched flame balls into the air so they would crash down around Ross and create a smoke screen. He dashed into the smoke screen, and launched a flame ball from the left side at Ross's face. While hoping that Ross would be distracted momentarily, Jenso kept his eyes locked on his massive figure. He dashed in front of the giant while hoping that he wasn't noticed due to the smoke screen. He decided against using a flame dragon punch because the flames could give away his position. A surge of power rushed through him as he dashed at the hole in the man's stomach, aiming to ram his fist into it.

'I don't have much energy left...I'll have to finish this now!' Jenso thought. Using a flame dragon punch still took a good chunk of energy out of him, which meant he wouldn't be able to use it against Ross forever. He wasn't entirely used to the technique yet, but he was getting better at it.

Ross looked up and rose a hand, blocking Jenso's fireballs from above with a rounded-wall of stone that crumbled moments after, failing to stop the smoke from spreading. Straight after, Jenso's next fireball struck his face, and he staggered back onto his feet. Then, without a chance to react, he felt something strike his stomach, knocking him off of the ground, and flat onto his back. After the smoke cleared, Ross was not moving, and the victor had been decided.

"W..Winner is Jenso! Jenso has toppled the earth render!" The crowd went wild when the announcer spoke. It was the first amazing match to take place, as far as they were concerned. If all of the fights were going to be like this, maybe losing more than half the roster wasn't so bad after all!

Jenso smiled and took some deep breaths, supporting on his knees. "Man...what a fight!" He said, slowly walking over to Ross. "You put up an amazing fight man! Thanks a lot for this battle. You were a really tough opponent!" Jenso told Ross, unsure wether or not he was still conscious. He decided against checking if he was awake out of respect. He rose his hands into the air. "YEAAAAHHH!!! I DID IT!!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs with excitement, with a wide grin on his face. He began to leave the arena. His breathing had gotten deeper and he wasn't exactly walking straight or casual either. He felt quite drained after the battle, despite having a great time. 'Man...his skin was really tough. I should try to learn some kind of technique that can pierce something like that..' He thought.

Ross looked up at Jenso and chuckled between a couple coughs. "Haha, yeah. You've got Gaia in you, kid! Thanks for the beating!" Ross said happily, struggling back onto his feet. He looked Jenso over and thought about something. Ross frowned for a moment but nodded and his smile returned. "Good luck with the rest of the fights.. I'm sure you'll win!" He announced, walking off the stage.

As Jenso left the arena, he began to search for Mikey. He was unsure how he would regain his energy, but he wouldn't be surprised if the people of the tournament had some way to do that in a quick way, similar to how his arm was healed earlier. That, or he would simply need to rest until his next fight was up.

"Haha, I'm not so sure about that," Mikey rasped, "I didn't think I'd see anyone nearly as strong as I was at this tournament, but now that I've seen you and Ross fight- Hell, I gotta admit, I'm not that confident in my abilities anymore!"

Jenso smirked and shook his head. "Don't worry about that, man. Just give me the best you've got! I know you're strong, so don't hold anything back!" Jenso shouted, with a wide grin on his face. "I'm feeling pretty tired after that fight...I might have to rest up a bit, unless there's a way to restore my energy faster.." He added.

Mikey didn't say anything, but he did point Jenso towards the tent near the edge of the arena. "In there, the mages will restore your energy as best they can, and heal your wounds," Mikey stated. "Hurry though. From what I've heard, my opponent has forfeited as well.."

What Was That? Speak up!


The tent was full of mages, bored to tears over the lack of cases they had to deal with. Ross was already inside, but he seemed unconscious as the mages tended to him. Did Jenso really deal that much damage?

"Need a boost?" one mage asked from the edge of the tent. He wore a white robe and had long black hair. His eyes were blue, and he looked rather handsome, much like the elves Jenso heard of in story books. But his ears weren't pointed..

Jenso looked over at Ross with some concern, and turned to face the mage that spoke to him. "Yeah...I could use one.." Jenso replied, still having difficulity to stand straight. "Is Ross going to be okay?" He asked.

"Ross? Ah, he'll be fine. We've put him into a deep sleep. He has some... Rather troublesome internal bleeding that we've been keeping under control. While he's asleep, it's much easier to deal with. Come right this way," The man stated, pointing towards one of the empty tables.

Jenso frowned as he gazed over at Ross. Did he go overboard when he fought him? 'No...I would have offended him if I didn't go all out, and I would have lost...I made the right choice.' Jenso thought, and nodded at the man. "Alright." He said, and headed towards the table.

The mage wait for Jenso to lay on the table, and then one of the others, a woman, walked over and began running her hands over his body, a few inches above him. Her hands glowed green, but she looked rather surprised. "No injuries?" She whispered, looking to the black haired man.

"That's surprising, indeed. Just restore his aura, and his energy, as best you can," He ordered. Aura? Energy? Were they talking about Ki and Arcane energy? The people here seemed to know about magic and soul power after all. A loud announcement echoed through the ten moments after his healing began.

"Now for the semi final rounds, ladies and gentlemen! First, we have the mighty Jenso, facing off against Mega Mikey!"

"Thanks for the help!" Jenso said to the man and woman, and hopped onto his feet. "That's my cue!" He shouted, and dashed out of the tent towards the arena. He began to walk onto the arena and smiled at Mikey. "Let's do this!" He shouted, and got in a combat stance.
