Hey! Hoods and masks were their version of a balaclava. It's fawkin' cold out there! Plus, nothing worse than getting goblin blood in your mouth. Yuck!

Makes for a hell of a training tool, too. I've always held medieval face masks akin to something like this in modern days:

@SmileyJaws Mine is actually a picture. I just went to 1001 fonts, found a cool one that was my character in essence, and saved the picture of his name. Then I just used a photo upload site and voila! :)

I have a word doc with the BBC coding with all my characters' names so it's fast for me to just grab them and plug them in.

Have it now, thanks guys. Haha. So listen, this is just a small opener the attack to get us together. The invaders are a raiding party, looking to plunder who have splintered too far from those up North and have been hiding out in the woods.

I'm thinking after this there will be a plot device designed to get us together and start us on an adventure out of Galloway.

You sexy beasts, I'll be spending my weekend in Ireland without a laptop (wish me luck), so I won't be able to reply till Monday. So if you're waiting for my reply, know that I'm getting plenty of fuckin' wasted in Dublin - I mean.. ah- I'm working very hard on things in Dublin.



Also, if you want to use a character for your benefit, you have my permission to use my lil' dumb as fuck pancake, Bjørn. So need someone to give you a boost, or to back you up, or someone to slap with a floppy potato, be my guest. But just remember, he's not the brightest, so don't try to teach him the alphabet, you won't get far. Though, I wouldn't know why you'd want to teach a stranger the alphabet while we're being attacked. Silly you..
