Oh yeah, forgot to ask, what age are you thinking they should be around? The images I'm going to use could range from late teens to 20s so It's really up to you.
@Ambiguity Oh darn! Didn't know that, I'll start using it. I'm about to go to sleep, but I'll start writing a post up for the IC tomorrow. Feel free to go ahead and post if you like or if there's anything else you want to discuss before we get into it I'll respond ASAP!
@Orange Juice Yeah it's kind of weird, but you get used to doing it! Sounds good. If I have time, I'll post something up. I'm really excited on getting this show on the road :]!
I'm actually really tired. I think I'll join you and also head off to bed haha! If you feel up for it, go ahead and put up a starter. Whatever you'd like with respect to the scene :]! If not, I'll try to get something up when I can!
@Ambiguity I'm sort of writing a little about Chou's past, but I'm a little lost on how our characters should meet. Any ideas? In my head at the moment I've got an idea of them like bumping into each other and maybe getting off on the wrong foot sort of thing?
Sorry for the not getting back to you! I just got back home and finally getting stuff situated haha.
Alright. So. I was thinking that they indeed get off on the wrong foot. My character could be protecting a target or something that your characters group decided to strike against. In my opinion anyway.
@Ambiguity They're more of a rebellion against the more fascist points of the Fire Nation, so unless she's protecting someone who helped burn down the North pole I don't really see how that would play out?
Actually, thinking about it this could be a good idea. What if the rebellion itself has grown a little fascist and corrupt and the person your character is protecting is some sort of high profile character who disagrees with the methods of the rebellion and thereby must be gotten rid of according to the leaders of the rebellion? That could also give Chou a reason to split off from them and start travelling with the Avatar?
Ah! But also remember, she didn't grow up in the poles. She doesn't really care about other benders like her. She's trying to do whatever she needs to survive and thrive. If that makes sense?
That totally works too! That may be more feasible than a Fire Nation official hiring a mercenary. Granted, she's extremely good in what she does because she has an affinity for blood bending. She's not at all subtle about using it either.
@Ambiguity Just getting onto the bit where our characters should meet, do you have any preference as to where you want them to meet? I was thinking a marketplace or something?
@Orange Juice Would that high profile target be with her in the marketplace? If she's tagging along with him, then sure! She'll probably be where he is. Given that she's being paid to protect him.
