It started out like any other mission: A prisoner trade in the deep heart of South America. A unit of mercinaries are hired to trudge the jungle, find a hidden outpost of a cocain smuggling cartel, and trade them one of their own for a prisoner they hold captive. It wasn't anything new, to be honest.
However, the unit needed a translator, and the only person they could find that was poor enough, stupid enough, and desperate enough to take the job was a civilian woman. A former college professor, she was very well educated. After being laid off, she needed the money. And, to her, this was an opportunity to do things and see places that she had only dreamed of. This wasn't quite the tropical vacation she wanted, but it was close, right?
They told her that this was sure to be an easy, out and back mission, and then she could take her earnings and sight see however much she wanted. But then something goes wrong. The unit falls under attack, and the professor, having only see battles like this on TV, is a sitting duck. She is grabbed up by the unit's leader, a steely, mostly quiet man who, even in his silence, exudes power. They are soon separated from the rest of the group, and without a map, they become hopelessly lost. Will the civilian and the soldier be able to survive the unforgiving jungle?
What I want:
I would like a player to fill the spot of the professor. I would like someone who can write to high casual to advanced standards, and can post relatively frequently.
Player must be 18+
