I'm just wondering where the precise line is regarding sexual content and roleplay activity as far as the public forum is concerned; the rules use the word "smut" but this is intrinsically subjective.

What are things deemed acceptable and where does one cross the line?

I also don't know where to post this so if it's in the wrong section I'd like it moved.

@Tasuke Sexual content can't show up on the public board when it becomes graphic, i.e. describes the sexual act in more-than-passing detail.

I'm not sure if this is any more meaningful, but off the top of my head, this is sexual content that you would expect a PG-13 movie to replace with a fade-to-black.

Soon, I'd like to enhance the "18+" tag so that sexual content can exist in semi-public by restricting 18+ tagged roleplays/checks so that they are only viewable by other people who can say they're 18+.

That would make things a lot better for everyone. For example, if your roleplay decides to take a turn into adult content, you can simply add the 18+ tag instead of having to uproot everything to take it to PM.
