June 2017. A young man was walking back from his job at a bar. Well, it used to be his job. He was fired because of budget cuts. He sat down in the gutter, head in hands. Just as he did that, he met her. Well, he almost got hit by her limousine.
Yes, this is one of those stories.
He didn't know what happened. She seemed to feel pity for the rain-soaked, melancholy, starving creature and took him back to her house. I say house, I mean mansion. Only when he reached her home did he realise she was the 'It-Girl' of 2017.
It was kind of awkward, lying on her bed, soaking wet, whilst she fawned over him like he was a king. And then she started, unsubtly, flirting with him. So, and decided he would take a shot, and seeing how far he could get.
He was so close. Nothing happened. He was interrupted by her butler, who was mysteriously fired the next day.
For the next two weeks he was so lonely. He had nobody to talk to, he couldn't pay the rent and he had no job. But then he received a call from the very woman he almost spent a night with. She offered him a job as her new butler. After a lot of negotiations he came to a satisfactory conclusion. He'd move into her home. And he'd have one day off per month. A day when he could act more like a human than a slave.
Sounds ideal, right? There was only one problem. Neither one of them had gotten over each other. She still flirted and he still tried to assert his dominance.
This can't end well...
