It was the last day of school and the begining of summer before senior year. Everyone was buzzing with excitement, no one could sit still or silence there whispers. Liz sat there between two guys that she didn't know. She watched as the different teachers went up to the stage and announced the winners of awards, and, of course, she didn't win any of them.

After the assembly she jumped out of her to seat to leave the gymnasium before everyone crowded the door ways. She ran straight to her locker and pushed everything in it into her back pack and whatever didn't fit, she carried in her arms. She began walking to her car when suddenly someone bumped into her, knocking all of her things on the ground in the middle of the parking lot.

"Shit". she mumbled under her breathe, looking at her stuff on the ground. She looked up and saw some guy that she didn't think she knew, but she wasn't certain.

Sighing as he left the final assembly, Zain picked up his 'most improved student' prize (a book he didn't really intend to read) and the last of his "super-healthy, low-fat, immune-system-revitalizing" juice that honestly just tasted green. He winced as he stepped down on a cramp, then continued to walk out to the parking lot.

He glanced across at his usual spot and found his small black hatchback sitting comfortably between two red cars and started heading towards it.

He was reaching for his keys when he felt a rough knock and dropped his 'superfruit' smoothie. It exploded across a newly-formed pile of books and equipment and Zain gritted his teeth as he looked across at the girl they belonged to. "Shit I'm sorry... at least it's the end of the year, right?"

Liz chuckles a little and smiles "Honestly its not a big deal, you're right, its the end of the year"
She smiles, "I'm Liz by the way, sorry for running into you"
She kneels on the ground and starts picking stuff up, shaking the 'superfruit' juice off of each individual item.

Zain quickly tucked his book inside his bag and knelt beside Liz to help her pick up her belongings. "Nice to meet you, I'm Zain.. you're in my english class, right?" He wiped the best of the juice from the books and stood with them, holding them out ready for her.

Liz stood with the items she had wiped off and took the last of them out of Zains hands. "Oh yea, I remember you" She smiles. "Its nice to meet you too." Liz adjusts the straps on her back pack, "Would it be too much trouble to ask you to help me carry my stuff to my car?" Liz points to a little yellow 1967 chevy Camaro.

Rick was surprised that he got funniest student award because the only two words he could remember saying were "bug off" after that an "accident" in which he broke somebody's nose he thought to himself as he walked out were maybe I should have gotten most psychotic student award. he put on his head phones and walked to his red mustang sitting next to a black hatch back and a girl crouching over a pile of books and school stuff switched his music on and started head banging and flailing his arms while accidently hitting a guy by the black hatch back

As Liz was talking to Zain she noticed a guy who looked like he was having a seizure, but slowly realized that he was just 'Dancing' to whatever music he was listening to. She chuckled a little as she watched him. Suddenly he hit Zain with his arm, Zain fell into Liz, again knocking her things out of her arms "Fuck" she said, loud enough for the guy who had hit Zain to hear.

Zain opened his mouth to offer his help, but it was cut short and turned into a sort of yelp, when something knocked into him from behind. The next thing he knew, he was dangerously close to hitting Liz's face with his shoulder and her things were on the floor again.
He whirled on the guy, scowling, "Dude what is your problem?!"

Liz stood there, watching Zain stare down the guy next to them, realizing how close Zain and her now were. She looked at him as he scowled at they guy, realizing that his eyes were a striking shade of blue, she quickly looked away before she lost herself in his eyes "Um, Zain" She said.

Zain turned to Liz and blinked, realizing that they were incredibly close to one and other, then stepped back from her, "Sorry, did I hurt you? This joker's not exactly got a damn for the real world around him since school ended." he glanced back across at the red mustang owner with a slight sneer.

She bent down and for the second time that day, proceeded to pick up her 'superfruit' covered books and papers and stood. "Yea I'm fine, just wish some people had more respect for the people and things around them". She glanced at Zain as he scowled at the kid who owned the red mustang and decided to confront the owner. She walked up to him and pulled his earbud out.

Alicia, Liz's best friend, then stepped out of the school. She was known for being a fashionista. Her skin was nicely tanned and her dirty blonde hair was wavy. Her bright hazel eyes always shone with excitement. However, they looked a bit surprised to see her friend confronting someone. "Ooh girl, what happened?" She said quietly, more so to herself then Liz. She walked over to the area, standing a few feet from Zain and watching the drama go down.

Zain raised his eyebrows quickly, holding back a harsh laugh as he watched Liz. She hardly seemed the type to confront anyone - she seemed far too timid for that. His 'knight in shining armour' act was clearly unneeded. He just wished that he had popcorn to watch.

He smirked, impressed with Liz and glanced around to see if anyone else was watching. His eyes stopped on a blonde just behind him. She looked entertained by the two currently confronting one and other and Zain wondered which side she was rooting for.

Liz looked the guy up and down, he was in a black hoodie and pants that seemed far too big for him, his hair was a mess and untamed, and he had the slightest bit of a beard growing. She looked him in the eye and then at her books now on the ground and to her bruised shoulder. Liz said "Dude, what the fuck was that? Watch what you're doing"

Liz doesn't receive an answer and storms back over to Zain and Alicia holding her shoulder, clearly in pain. "I'm so pissed" She shouts at Zain.
