Isabella was a senior in college, this was the last year before she graduated as a veterinarian. She had studied so hard during high school so she could win a scholarship that would cover all of the university expenses. Then during the past three years, she had killed herself studying so she would not lose that precious scholarship.

Since this was the last year of university, the red-haired girl thought she could relax a bit more. She looked at her watch and noticed she was a few minutes late for her psychology class. She ran down the hall before entering the classroom.

"I am very sorry for being late", the amber-eyed girl apologized to her professor. She stepped into the room trying to make as little noise as possible. Sitting in the only available seat, her eyes caught the presence of a strange black-haired man sitting in the far corner of the room.

As for the werewolf himself, he had the pencil eraser on his chin. He seemed to be playing attention and taking mental notes, but he found himself letting his mind wander. InuYasha was thinking about a article he read in the newspaper, in which the headline had read 'are they real?' The article was about the possibility of werewolves existing in the human world and went back and forth from a professor's point of view and a crazy, possibly drunk hunter who claimed he saw one. Of course, InuYasha knew that the crazy hunter was right, because he had narrowly escaped a hunter in his wolf form. But, he didn't know the hunter had seen him change forms until he read the article.*

Turning her gaze to the right, she observed the black-haired man lost in thought. He was good-looking all right, and there was an aura of mystery surrounding him that was just irresistible to the petite girl. However, Isabella did have to wonder what was with the clothes. Why was he wearing a red robe to class? Maybe he was some sort of Japanese monk.

"Concentrate Isabella, concentrate!", the amber-eyed girl admonished herself noticing that she was paying more attention to the boy than to her teacher.

InuYasha pushed the thoughts and questions that he had surrounding the article to the back of his mind. He looked at notebook in front of him, which was filled with blank papers at the moment. He then looked at the board, finally deciding to take notes. He needed to act like a normal human if he wanted to blend in.

Isabella took her book, notebook, and pencil case out of her bag. Opening her book, she turned it to the page written in the upper corner of the whiteboard.

She took out a pen out of her pencil case and began taking some notes in her notebook; however, she could not help but returning her eyes back to the black haired boy sitting behind her. From over her shoulder, the amber-eyed girl would shyly look at Inuyasha. "He is handsome...", she thought to herself as her cheeks turned a bit red.

InuYasha copied what was on the broad currently, then flipped to the final pages of the notebook. It was on those pages he started draw wolves. He spent the rest of class drawing wolves and the images were surprisingly detailed. The drawings almost seemed to come alive with how detailed they were. InuYasha's violet eyes seemed focused on what he was drawing, rather than the school work itself. The werewolf paused from time to time, glancing out the window to determine the time. He didn't seem to notice that class was over, until his sensitive ears picked up the sound of people starting to leave the classroom, at which point he paused his drawing, packed up his belongings and headed out.

Returning her book, notebook, and pencil case to her bag; Isabella got ready to leave the classroom. She looked over her shoulder and noticed Inuyasha had exited the room already.

A bit sad that she had not been able to talk to the mysterious boy, the red-haired girl grabbed her bag and walked out of the room.

"I hope I can see him again today", wished the petite girl to herself as she tried to remember what class she had next.
