Bio: Born in 1900, to a well to do family in Baltimore, MD, Royce Ardell was an inquisitive child. He was happy to study the books in his father's library. He lived a fairly normal life. His parents died in 1909 and he was left with his parents estate, but raised by his grandparents. His parent's death was a mystery, and Royce dedicated himself to trying to solve it. He tried to join the Army at the start of the Great War, but was denied based on his age. He studied harder each day, and was eventually granted enrollment into Princeton University before he turned seventeen. His main focus of study was psychology, but he knew he wanted to be a private investigator. He graduated by the age of twenty-three with his full PhD, and left back for New York City. He was considered well off, just young. He started his agency. For the next two years he took any case that came his way with a naivete essence. He Was moderately successful, but felt the small jobs were wasting his talent. Everyday he reviewed his family's murder looking for new clues but never getting past the dead ends. The police said it was a straight forward hit and run, but there were cards left of the bodies with symbols written all over them that no one could understand.
