300 was so-so (better as a movie then a comic imho) and Franks islamophobia has shone trough some of his newer work. This just look badass though! Then again, Sin city is probably one of Franks greatest works.

Although he should reconsider what career choices he gives his female characters at times.

Seriously... How in the world do you say 'Islamophobia' when there wasn't even a single Muslim in the movie?

And I was only just about to say, I genuinely enjoyed the new 300 movie. It was an enormous visual treat that I absolutely adored. As good as the original? No, I wouldn't go there, but definitely worth the money we spent in IMAX 3D to see it in all it's ridiculous glory - strange floaty dust motes and all!

Not in the movie or in 300-universe as that takes place before islam was even a thing :P.

"In some of his later work" is aimed towards some comics i read a year or so ago, Ill dig it up later, but the guy has gone on the record and said some extremely racist and islamophobic things.

No need, I have an idea of what you're talking about, and even if I don't agree - and as a matter of fact, am not necessarily a fan of everything Frank Miller (or any artist/writer, for that matter) - I intend to stick to the more pleasant point that Heroes intended in the first here: that there's a potentially amazing new movie coming out. And yes, the new "300" movie: if any of you are fans of having a constant stream of visual amazing hit your eyeballs and - oh! Did I mention Eva Green is just ridiculously hot in the most terrifying way imaginable? Mmhmm... Eye candy for you guys, eye candy for me...

Eva Green? Hot? Only time I'd use those two words in the same sentence without a negative would be if she was literally on fire. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed Sin City, so I'm looking forward to the sequel. :)

It was her character, not her per se - she played terrifying, unhinged evil well, and I find that enormously appealing anywhere *shrugs* Call it a character flaw.

Anyway, RL has been doing what RL does, unexpectedly and undeniable; however, I am still writing a post! ;)

And I'm assuming the falling one is still very much alive, just momentarily stunned and a bit injured.

You are correct in this assessment. I will say however that I have yet to respond as these "lackeys" and they will very much be a handful. In fact, there might have to be a little editing that needs to be done before everyone just assumes the statues can be pulverized so quickly.
