"I am truly sorry, I only done the best the situation provided." Azurael said, looking quite sad. She was also worried. Was she going to be demoted, or worse - banished herself? Demotion she could handle, she would still have something to do, but banishment would be another story all together. She had tried to make sure the princess was looked after, but even that seemed wrong. She tried to be a good commander, but as all good commanders do - they make mistakes, even more so when they have not long recieved thier commands. Grabted most military commanders did not go ousting royalty and getting away with it scotfree.

"Hm, yes but where did they come from? Dragon eggs don't just poof onto a ship out of nowhere." At this point Je'Nai was not deliberately attempting to avoid awkward silence, instead now she was actually curious. She'd heard the rumors; stones cold as death suddenly cracking open to reveal little hatchlings. A peculiar story but rumors were not to be trusted. "Illegal traders? A gift? I sincerely doubt their mother just handed them over to you. Angry mothers are quite scary."

"Dogs and cats, as they've been called. Perhaps the next time I must go back outside the barrier I'll bring one back for you so you can see what I mean. Although I personally prefer the rabbits, those are incredible soft and so small."

Anuriel and Damien had finished their chat and decided on talking to Sephiroth later on in the day.

Damien had gone out walking and decided to watch the dragons train. Vulan spotted Damien and called out "Drem yol lok, dov-saviik!" Before landing in feont of Damien. The other dragons soon followed. "Demon-Dov teaches us much." Vulan said "But does not bring cookies like you."

Damien passed the dragons several cookies Anuriel had prepared for the dragons. Despite thier size, the dragons took the cookies very delicately. The dragons were regularly treated with these cookies.

As the dragons ate they thanked him. "Kogaan."

Damien realised he may have quite rudely crashed T'vor's session with the dragons and went to apologise.
.......
Asmod awoke. He was pale and shaking.

"I do not remember much. But what I do remember . . ." He trailed off and closed his eyes. He curled himself into a tight ball and wrapped his wings around himself. He did not want to see the world.

"Luckily for you, his Highness is more forgiving than I am. You worry too much. We'll go inform him what has happened and then we will go from there. Simple."
T'vor rubbed his jaw.
"The main issue here is that we cannot rely on his Highness to govern both parties forever. That is an unfair expectation. Along with that, our laws prohibit anyone but those who wield Order and Chaos to rule. So unless Order chooses to abandon the princess in favor of someone else, which I have never heard of happening before, she is the only one Angel who can rule. Short of killing her, she is our only option at this point. That is why we need her back."

Seph gestured to the shorter Demon, Damien, who had just arrived and was feeding the dragons cookies. "He was carrying the eggs in his pocket. He thought they were river stones, and had wanted to bring a piece of Genesis her with him. He'd given to me, but then they hatched. Now we have dragons. I'm thankful that not all of them died, but when they get bigger... it will be very difficult to hide them from these humans."

Chrissa's expression lit up.
"Oh, could you? Could you really? Ahh, how exciting!!" She started giggling in delight like a little girl.
"Um, do be careful though, won't you? I really don't trust these humans, and... Well, I'd hate it if something bad happened out there," she admitted.

"Woah, buddy, just relax for a bit." Ariadel hopped over to Asmod, laying a hand on his forhead for a temperature check.
"Bad dream, huh? Did you at least find out why you don't own any shirts?"

"Cookies..." Je'Nai deadpanned. If anyone tried convincing her that these apex predators liked baked pastries then she would have laughed in their face. Yet here she was, watching the most dangerous and intelligent creature known in history, munching on cookies. What made this whole thing more amusing was that the dragon eggs were apparently mistaken for rocks and that was the only reason they were here now. Je'Nai huffed in amusement and redirected her gaze to Prince Seph. "So, when do we begin our work? As much as I'd like to continue our discussion, it can wait a bit."

"Don't fret, I'll be fine. I've interacted with a few during my stay here and it seems that our kind is nonexistent, according to them. Those who would accuse me of being an outsider would be brushed off. So although it is entirely possible someone may suspect there is something different about me, they don't believe I do not belong because otherwise they would have no other explanation." Ma'ai had heard whispers of ancient texts which spoke of something akin to angels and demons but since he had yet to get a hold of one of these books, he couldn't make anything of this information.

"Oh, I see." Azurael said. "We could always get Grim to arrange something if she refuses to come back." Azurael added.

"We had better see Sephiroth as soon as possible. Do you know where he is?"
......
"Ha ha" Asmod replied forlornly. "I remember what hapoened just before I came. I can hear thier spirits screaming at me now. I had to make sure they would not suffer the extremes Genisis was going through in it's last moments. I stopped them from suffering the scalding winds, fires, earthquakes, massive gravitational increases and decreases , you name it. I made sure they wouldn't suffer... the women, children - they were first. I was not the only one who stopped the suffering. The screams, then utter silence."

"I made sure my two sisters went first. They were so calm and trusting."

"The orders to give the merciful end came from well over my ranking. It was an Angel/ Demon agreement."

"I still don't know how I got here. You don't hate me do you?" Asmod asked, finally uncurling a little. His True Sight made his suffering all the worse.

Asmod paled, as if his ashen complexion would get any paler. "I had a vision. The General, the one with pale wings and dark armour, she is going to kill the Princess."

Azurael in the meantime was looking for Spehiroth. She wanted to find Sasha and hopefully bring her back to camp. Azurael had no idea what Fate had in store for her.

"It's not my job to hate people, it's my job to heal injuries," Ari replied.
"No offense to the princess of course, but I have a feeling that even if that chicky does kill her, well, I don't think a whole heck of a lot of people would miss her," she chuckled.
"Although, more seriously, I'd rather she didn't just up an kick off, simply because there's already so much drama going around right now. If she dies, we'll have to instigate a Search or something like that for whoever inherits Order after her, and I dunno how that was like in Angel society, but we Demons have lived through some pretty brutal and scary Searches in the past. Demon law dictates that anyone claiming to be possessed by Chaos gets convicted of high treason if they are found to be lying, and, well. That's a death penalty. It's frankly lucky that his Majesty inherited it after his father, or else we would have had to live through another Search, and I'm not sure I ever want to witness that."
She shuddered.
"So if the princess up and kicks it, his Majesty will probably have no choice but to instigate a Search, simply because he's currently ruling both parties right now. But, anyway."
"Listen, Asmod. I uh, I can't help you with your visions, I'm sorry. I'm just a medic. But as a medic, I have to recommend that you should probably find someone you can talk to if they bother you this much. You can come see me if you want, but if not me, find someone you can trust. If it doesn't help you, that's fine, but I think you should try it first to see if it'll help."

T'vor beckoned to Azurael to follow. "Of course I know where he is."
They found his Majesty out in the field, watching the dragons and speaking to his new stylist. T'vor rolled his eyes heavenward. By the gods, he didn't understand what his friend saw in it. When they approached, he immediately addressed Je'Nai.
"Begone, girl! The matters of state are not for the ears of commoners!"

Seph looked up as his General approached. He sighed mildly. "Please excuse me for the time being, Je'Nai. We'll discuss this further later," he replied, more kindly than his General had been. "General, are you forgetting that I may dismiss my staff when I see fit? Have a care."
T'vor did not respond.

"Nonexistent...?" Chrissa mulled over that.
"Is it true that humans can't fly? That's why we have to hide, right? I can't even imagine it. Not being able to fly, I mean. I wonder how it feels. Must be awful for them! If I was a human, I think I'd be very sad not to be able to fly," she decided.

"Lord Sephiroth. I believe it is imperative that the princess be bought back to camp. Rather al'Tvor does, but I happen to agree. I request your permission to go look for her." Azurael asked Sephiroth, she was very well aware that it was a great deal her fault the princess was expelled from the camp and that the princess did not want to come back. She hoped all would go well. She knew the princess may need persuading but she hoped it would not come to that.

In fact if Seph did not grant permission she would leave without it. Damned be the consequences, she had to make things right. Heck she would even fly, if it came to that.
...........

"Our ruler should help. I will go and seek him out." The Seer responded to Ari.

"Thank you for your help Ari." Asmod said, his face still pale. He would keep in mind her offer.

Asmod dismissed himself from Ari's care and sought out Sephiroth. He found Seph with T'vor and the unwitting Murderess. "You!" He cried out at Azurael. "You can't go. Don't let her." He said as he got close enough not to shout.

"This is a meeting between myself, al'Tvor, and Sephiroth. You need not be here." Azurael said, gently but firmly.

Je'Nai bowed her head in respect to the prince. "Of course. I look forward to being able to serve you, your Highness. Until next time." She stood to leave but not before politely curtsying to General T'vor and General Azurael as well despite the former's obvious distaste towards her (he gave the pretense of seeing her career as practically useless but a teeny tiny part of her wondered if it was some inborn distaste to her bloodline). However just as Je'Nai was on her way her path was blocked by Asmod. She tried to side-step him when suddenly the demon began shouting and she twitched in start. It took a second for her to realize he wasn't yelling at her. Je'Nai followed Asmod's gaze to Azurael.

"No, they can't" Ma'ai confirmed. "At least not without the assistance of their technology. But it doesn't seem to bother them. They have other means of transportation and appear to be well off. Guess you can't miss what you never had." He had to shrug then. Before Ma'ai was sent off to spy on mankind, he wondered the same thing as Chrissa and even felt a little bad for the humans too. But not, seeing what they were capable of and how they survived, he didn't pity them so much anymore.

Azurael unfurled her wings and in her anger and distress the feathers could be heard rattling. She may not have flown but she still had done various wing strengthening exercises. She was scared witless of flying but was ready to take off.

"Je'nai, your skill set is more valuable than you think. If you ever seek employment I would be more than happy to provide an opportunity."

With the utterance of the words Azurael raised her wings and took off, flapping hard.
