Elsa was not really known for moving around in her sleep very much and she relaxed. But after awhile Elsa finally woke up and looked at him. "Hey Cody how are you feeling?" She askd him as she let go of him so she could stretch her body out a little and her back cracked a little when she did that. "Do you feel any better now?" She asked wanting to make sure he was fine.

Cody looked at her, "yah I feel better than I did a few hours ago." They fit together like a puzzle piece when there bodies were against one another. He relaxed with his arms around her, "so you think of me as your boyfriend huh Elsa?"

Elsa nuzzled him when he said he felt a lot better. "I am so glad that you feel a lot better." She was enjoying her time relaxing with him in bed but blushed at his question. "Well yeah I mean if you think we are not that far yet then I won't say it again but when you looked like you were in pain and I did not know what to do I got scared and I guess what I really wanted to call you came out when I went to get the doctor." Elsa explained for she did see him that way and wanted to call him that.

Cody nodded, "no I think were that far because I always think of you as my girlfriend in my head, but I don't say it out loud because I was afraid of your reaction to it that you would say that you weren't my girlfriend." He nuzzled her, putting his face into her hair and relaxing.

"I guess we were both afraid to saw what we wanted to say to each other." Elsa said with a smile as she nuzzled him and giggled when he put his face in her hair. "Does my hair feel that good?" She asked as she hugged him and liked the idea of relaxing in bed now. "Oh I was able to get a job at a tea house its suppose to be a tea house that branched all the way from ba sing sa owned by Iroh." She said to Cody as they relaxed in bed.

Cody smiled, "wow that must be great in a way." He heard screams from the street then heard orders going through his ear piece, "is anyone there we need back up republic city is under attack seems like a whole bunch of rogue benders or something we need back up." Cody got up and got his gear on, "officer Bane here where do you need the back up?" He hears a sigh of relief, "Bane go and protect the council and the northern water tribe chief from the rogue benders seems like that is there objective." Cody nodded, "copy that," he looked at Elsa "I'll be back as soon as I can or you can come with me and help me with keeping the council safe and......your father."

"it is that tea shop is really nice and pays decent wages." Elsa said with a smie and soon heard the screams also and that got her scared a little when she heared them. She looked at Cody and watched him get his gear on and told to the person though his set she thought that he might have. She looked at him and her heart dropped when he said that he had to protect the coincil and her father and wondering what was going on taht he needed to do that. "I will go with you I might be able to help in some way and fatehr does not know how to water bend at all."

Cody nodded, getting on his bike waiting for Elsa to get on. Once she was on he sped down the street toward the hall getting there, he fire bended the rogue benders back. He and Elsa got inside, he stood in front of all of them, he could keep the rogue benders back. "There's an under ground exit head for it now I'll hold them off and Elsa don't say you won't leave me just go it's part of my job to keep anyone safe from harm so go."

Elsa held I right to Cody as he sped through the streets until they made it to city hall and made it inside and she listened to him especially the part about her listening to him and going with the council. She understood and took her hair ribbon out of her braid and tired it around his wrist. "Keep this a a a good luck Charm and as a promiced to come back to me." She said an kisses his lips real fast before going with the council and her father to help them get out of there.

Cody nodded, he started fire bending the rogue benders back. After he knew the council and Elsa was safe with her father. His body was to weak to go on he dropped down to one knee, breathing hard "Elsa I'm sorry I can't keep that promise to you." The earth benders trapped him to the floor, they were now wondering what to do with him.

Elsa followed her father and the other council members but something had told her to stop and go back. She stopped in her tracks and her fater noticed. "Elsa come on we have to keep moving." he said and Elsa shook her head. "No you and the others have to keep moving I am going back something is telling me that Cody is in trouble and I need to go back and help him." She said trembling an looked at her father. "Sorry father but I am going back to help Cody please e safe." She said as she ran back while her father yelled for we but she kept running. Once she got back she hide herself and saw how the earth benders had him trap. "Oh no." he whispered trying I figure out what to do and to avoid doing that one thing she swore she never do again.

Cody was forced to look up when an earth bender grabbed his face, "where are they?" Cody shook his head, he didn't answer the question and he got punched. "Tell me!" Cody just looked at him, he still didn't answer the earth bender.

Elsa watched and she shook hard for she did not like them and it made her blood boil badly for she knew if Cody did not give then the information they wanted they might kill him. She soon figured out she had no choice and lifted her hand up and took over the earth benders body with blood bending the one thing she learned through another one in her tribe before he was banished for being one. "No one hurts Cody." She said for she was mad and upset.

Cody's eyes widened in surprise, the earth receded from him he got back to his feet. Knocking the earth bender, he hit the others taking them down with his fire bending. One of them was a fire bender and directed his lightning at him, he redirected the lightning hitting the fire bender. He checked his pulse feeling none, he backed away falling to the floor.

Elsa watched and was glad that he was able to get back on his feet and not see her do that when she blood bended that guy. But as she watched him she saw him redirect the lighting that other firebender did and she could tell by the way his face look the guy was dead. She walked out from her hiding spot and over to him and looked at him. "Cody." She said as she bent down next to him and hugged him.

Cody shook his head, putting his face in his hands. He just killed a man he never did it before, he didn't like doing it. It was an accident he didn't mean to kill the man, he didn't even mean to hurt the guy at all.

"Cody I know you did not mean to kill him or try to hurt him these things happen." Elsa said as she hugged him tight in her arms. "And he would have killed you if you did not do what you had to do and think about it if he was willing to kill a police officer then he would be willing to kill innocent people." She said to him and kissed his cheek. "We don't know why or how but sometimes we have to do things that we do not want to do ever." She finished explaining to him.

Cody looked up at Elsa, and nodded he didn't mean to kill him, but he did what he had to do in the long run. Even though he didn't mean to kill him, he just took what he had to to save his own life.

Elsa held him tight to let him know she was there for him. "I am here for you Cody and I will always be here for you." She said to him and kissed his cheek. She then got up and helped him up. "And sorry for coming back I got worried and had a bad feeling something happened." She said to him feeling bad that she did not listen to him when he told her to leave with her father and the council but she felt like she had to come back and she was glad she did.

Cody nodded, "let's get out of here." He took her hand in his and left the building with her, he still had the guy on his mind. It would haunt him for the rest of his life for doing it in the first place.
