Physical Description: 5’0 height, weights 140lbs, Orangeish red hair and eye color, a scar across his right eye, and smaller ones on his upper back.



Personality: Having spent the first ten years of his life afraid of his own father, Angelo quickly developed a fear of humans. He had been abused by his father while his mother tired to care for him. Eventually he would get to a point that some would call comfortably numb, after the incident with his father and then him being sold off, Angelo’s attitude towards the world only continued to worsen.

The boy was tormented on the ship for the crew’s amusement, since whenever someone would move towards him unexpectedly he would flinch. They had a lot of fun at Angelo’s expense. It wasn’t until he took to studying the sky did he start to let some of his resentment and other emotions go, slowly breathing life back into the broken boy’s blank face. Once he became a Navigator on The Dishonorable Dagger he started to get a bit more friendly with the crew now that they respected him a little more than just tormenting him. He had become more than just some extra pair of hands, he could now help the ship and realized a goal in himself. He wanted to see and explore the world even if it meant seeing more things he was never meant to see.

After yet another incident with his special power, Angleo was soon kicked off the Dishonorable Dagger by its most recent Captain. Now he was stranded in some random town Thanks to this stupid power he had. Depressed about losing the one thing he enjoyed in his life he turned to spending what little money he had left in the local taverns trying to drink his sorrows away while rumors floated around about a cursed Navigator.

Bio: Angleo was born into a family where unfortunately the father wanted a human son way more than a Therian one. Disappointed by their son’s appearance his father would shun Angleo and focus on what was important to him, his business. They weren’t a wealthy family but thanks to his father being a blacksmith they made some decent money. As words started to spread around town that Angleo’s father was basically ignoring his own child’s existence some of the townsfolk thought it would be a good idea to stop going to the father’s blacksmith for things. Slowly but surely the business would go under and Angleo’s father would soon turn to the bottle to try and help keep his spirits up. Sadly that brought out additional problems as the father soon began to take his frustrations out on Angleo physically. While the man still loved Angleo’s mothers he hated their child and made sure he knew it. Angleo was forced to simply keep quiet and endure it if he wanted to get by. It wasn’t until the age of ten did a power awaken inside Angleo, one he would soon wish he never had. It would happen all the time and it confused the young Angleo, he could suddenly see into the past, through his own mind. He was just sitting in his home viewing the past, while to others it would just look like he was spacing out. After recalling several different conversations they had before Angelo was born they began to question how he knew these things. At first they brushed it off as some coincidences but when Angelo mentioned how his father had always wanted a human child, they became convinced something was wrong with their child. His father going as far as to say he was cursed and spoke with the dead, His mother didnt believe it, but nor did she have the guts to stand up to the man she loved as he took their son and sold him off to some random pirate crew. Forcefully dragged out of his own home, Angelo would now have to live the life of a pirate whether he wanted to or not.

He was taken in by a Pirate of the name of Garton The honest Norman, he was the current captain of the Dishonorable Dagger, and a mean one at that, but he had the respect of his crew. He decided to take the boy on a whim and make him an extra pair of hands as well as a source of entertainment thanks to his fear of humans. While working on the ship he was tormented by the crew who would pick on him for his fear of humans, when he could find some alone time Angelo would end up looking up at the sky. He would spend the next free years of his life this way, studying the wind while enduring what he received from the pirate crew. Eventually Angelo would learn how to predict the local weather decently and had an affinity for reading maps, Garton would soon take notice of this and promote the boy to the ship’s navigator. As he started to come into the role more he would undergo some combat training to help the boy learn to defend himself against whatever would want to harm him. Angelo would learn how to use daggers, and soon become more respected by the crew, When he turned 16 there was a change on the ship he wasn’t prepared for. Suddenly Garton was gone and missing and now his first mate, Cid Shady Gabriel, was now captain of the ship. The situation surrounding Garton disappearance was alway fishy in Angelo’s mind so he decided to try and investigate. While walking around the ship he happened to stumble across the memory of Cid plotting to murder Garton.

When Angelo tried to confront Cid, Angelo was quickly pushed back as he had no real proof of his claims. Eventually the man would go so far as to start ridiculing Angelo and making the crew join in as well. Soon enough he was kicked off the Dishonorable Dagger and branded a living curse, Angelo would try to find other work as a navigator but sadly his reputation proceeds him causing most to overlook his skills thanks to his shady past. Now the man is 19 and spends his time and what little money he has left drinking the days away as he cant return home and he had no way of continuing the life of adventure he always wanted.

Angelo reluctantly was born with the power of being able to witness the past. His power is alway active but he has to focus his mind in order to see a clear picture, to others tho it may look like he is simply spacing out. He has only been able to use his power a few minutes at a time before suffering a severe headache.

P E R S O N A L I T Y :
From the onset, Sylar is as callous as his men are cruel. On deck his demeanor is that befitting of his rank as captain of his ship. He's the authority that's meant to keep his men in line. The eyes meant to see ten steps ahead. The ears meant to pick up everything and the mind meant to shift through the rumors and find the truth. Being a pirate is one thing. The life of such, though hard, only becomes easier as one hardens himself. To be the captain of a crew of pirates however, your skin must be unbreakable. So Sylar is. Tough, unflinching in his rule. Unflinching in his judgement. Never second guessing himself and always sticking to his word. He's honorable in that sense but also feared in the same way. If he says he's going to do something... he will or die trying.

At least that's the facade he puts on while walking the deck.

Behind closed doors, Sylar becomes a little more aloof. Like an adult that hasn't completely grown out of being a child, a tendency made harder to avoid considering his age and that of the one person closest to him. When around Sybil, Sylar is truly himself... which means he's rather stupid. Sometimes forgetful. A little too curious and a little too excited to challenge those around him. Sometimes the word he intends to stick too leads him into trouble and it's Sybil who pulls him back and reminds him that he's only human. She's his guide and he's her shield.

H I S T O R Y :
Sylar began life at sea at a young age. Having been an orphaned child, he was picked up by a group of sailors looking for cheap labor with no ties or family to burden them. Sylar was the perfect choice, not only because he fit both those criteria but also because he actually wanted to work. A job meant life and a job on a boat meant a life of freedom. He acclimated himself to the jobs required of him rather quickly, picking up every manner of odd task from food service to look out to cleaning... everything. It was tough but he didn't care. He wanted to remain and so he constantly stove to prove that he belonged.

During one such voyage out at sea, Sylar discovered a stowaway. There in the lowest deck of the ship was a small redheaded girl with a peculiar bracelet around her wrist, a girl who'd managed to climb aboard during a visit to the mainland and remain unseen. It was no easy task to complete considering the size of the crew on board and yet, here she was, hunched over with a sack next to her and her eyes peering at him through the crimson of her hair. He didn't know it yet, but the burning feeling in his gut was the first spark of attraction.

What followed was a week of trying to keep her hidden. He would sneak food and water down to her. Keep her updated on where they were and how long it was before they made land fall. He'd promised to at the very least get her off the boat safely. Although these men were in the employ of the governed, they were still privateers and there was no telling what they'd do to Sybil if they found her. Of course, some of the more observant men of the crew noticed Sylar spending more time than usual below decks and eventually Sybil was discovered. Thanks to the girl's gift however, and unbeknownst to Sylar or anyone else, the crew was persuaded to take her in.

History would repeat itself five years later when their ship is over taken by pirates. The last two survivors after a rather bloody battle, the captain takes an interest in the both of them after having watched them prove themselves capable of surviving in fire. He adds them to the crew and fives years later is replaced by Sylar with Sybil as his first mate.
