This is your formal acceptance letter to Hawthorne Academy. We are pleased to have you join us in the fall semester. We're looking forward to meeting you.

Three weeks later, and you're packing your bags. Hawthorne Academy is a rustic building, almost resembling a Victorian-aged castle, hid off in the darkest, deepest part of the Canadian forest. Not many people know about Hawthorne... particularly what we call "humans or mortals". Hawthorne is exclusively for the gifted, the creatures of the night, for things that go "bump" in the night. It's where we can all go, be around people like us and not have to be hidden from society and the public eye for an entire school year. There are classes held all day while the sun was up for those who could withstand the rays, and then classes held at night after the sun disappeared for the night creatures.

At Hawthorne, there's drama, like any school, and love interest. How will you survive your first year at Hawthorne?

◘ Don't god-mod other characters that are not your own. This is a large NO-NO!

◘ Let's try to have an even ratio of both genders. You can play up to 4 characters if you'd like.

◘ Let's keep this PG-13 per site rules, obviously. If things start heating up take it to your own personal PM's or fade out.

◘ Be nice and courteous to others. If you're very active in this RP and just leave without any warning, then you're leaving others hanging and we have to try to think of a way as a group to work it out so the other person can continue on; if this means killing off your character if we suspect you're gone for good then we will.

◘ Fill the character sheet out completely. It doesn't matter to me what kind of image you use (i.e anime, realistic, sketched, etc.)

◘ Keep all OOC talk here, only use the IC for the use of the RP.

◘ Most importantly, have fun!
